Both him and Perriman have been dropping easy passes. They need to hit the jugs immediately.
Just now, rmcjacket23 said:Based on what I've seen, pretty much a lock he made the most out of Torrey Smith...
Torrey owes like 80% of the contract he has right now to Flacco.
Deep ball game. Something we have been lacking. With Wallace, Perriman, Moore, you would think we would take more shots. Maybe the O-line prevents us from trying but idk.
10 minutes ago, GamingRaven92 said:they shouldve just run the ball. throwing it for 4 downs? JT has the best leg in the league and we were so close to FG range.
Hey that's Trestman's MO. Before we started giving West the rock, we were 21 passes and 7 runs.
Just now, Ravenseconbeast said:Yes throw it right on Aiken's chest onto an incoming defender that will ram him right on his chest. Perfect throw.
Oh, and lets completely forget the past 3 throws before that. That underthrow to Pitta was perfection!
You obviously have an anti-Flacco bias. He obviously underthrew Pitta, but on the Aiken throw, there is literally no where else to put it besides right on his chest. That gives him the best opportunity to haul in the catch because he can secure the ball immediately. There's a reason why people say you put the ball on their numbers. If you can't see that, I don't know what to tell you.
Drop, underthrow, drop. No excuse for this offense.
Aiken had the opportunity to make a play.
Ugh our rookie wideouts and the drops.
Just now, darklight1216 said:He was let go by the Niners last year. The guy has never been good outside of one or two games.
Wright was actually fine after the Niners game last year. This year though... It gets hard to defend him because outside of the Bills game where he made a lot of open field tackles for little to no gain, he has been very average to bad. =/
Wright has not been good. He bit on Crabtree's double move.
How do you not have Doom in right now?
Just now, RavensFanInCA said:What is "spiking on the defender"? The ball didn't hit the defender and the ball was spiked. Or are all spikes unsportsmanlike? The staredown I get.
You can't spike near a defender.
That was dumb Wallace.
Just now, JO_75 said:Steve Smith... please come back next year. We are right back in it... Ok now we win 22-21 lol.
Ikr, he can play until he's 40. He's 37 and making plays like this.
The old man can BALL OUT.
Just now, The Mom Gene said:I'm with you today. ridiculous.
To be fair, on the fumble, Flacco needs to turn his head or just be aware of the rush. Especially with how the game has gone, he should assume someone is chasing him.

Wagner hasn't been that great either.

Honestly the runs haven't been bad. It's terrible holding penalties that kill any mo.
Just now, kennethyamini1989 said:Baltimore better hope Dixon works out.
Does it even matter? The way Trestman runs our offense, Dixon won't get a lot touches because we get away from the run too fast. I understand that it hasn't worked so far this season, but in this game before that last drive, we were 21 passes, 7 runs.
I never see crossing routes. SSS and Wallace can run crossing routes. Also btw Flacco has attempted 20 passes already. We have ran the ball 7 times and one of those was an end around with Wallace.

The run game is atrocious, I don't know if it's the packages, o-line, or poor vision and effort from backs but it's broken!
Im not sure who would call plays if Trestman were fired but the offense has no fluidity. Even the first drive of every game is horrible and that's usually when plays are scripted to get a rhythm.
To bad they couldn't get Kyle shanahan ( although not Kubiak at least familiar with some of the offensive principles. ).
Pete Carmichael ( under Sean Payton )
Marty Mornhinweg, I guess. The Eagles offense was pretty good under him but I don't know how much of that was Andy Reid.
3 minutes ago, rmw10 said:The offensive play calling is my biggest issue right now. There's a part of me that knows exactly what Trestman is going to do (not a good thing...), and another half of me that has no clue what he's doing (also not a good thing).
I liked the excessive use on play-action without a running game because it worked kinda. But yea, Trestman has yet to impress me since he got here.
4 minutes ago, Sami84 said:sadly, all my statements on perriman are proving to be true.
He needs to hit the jugs. His drops are disappointing especially after his 1st catch being pretty good.
2 minutes ago, Adreme said:Even the other INT i cant even be 100% sure is on him. Like with the SSS play it seems like either Flacco threw it to the wrong place the player didnt run to the right place and Flacco can not make them run to the correct spot.
I disagree. Even if Pitta was in the spot Joe threw, the safety was breaking on the ball so it would have been very contested. I think Pitta ran the right route but Joe was very late on the throw. The 2nd pick was Wagner getting pushed back allowing Fowler to hit Joe's arm.

6. There's a ref out there who REALLY likes the Ravebs and hates the Browns ("taunting" call)
I like the aggressiveness of throwing down field. It shows no fear, but Joe needs to place the ball better. Almost every throw that went outside should have been inside and vice versa.
No, our run game is abysmal. Some of it is the o-line but it's no coincidence that it got so bad under Trestman. He doesn't have a reputation for good run games.

I'm not putting all the blame on Joe because like you said Wagner did a terrible job. With how the game was going regarding pressure, Joe needed to aware that someone could be chasing him. I know it's difficult when you are looking downfield but he has to do it.
