Or Wallace. Patriots are running zones all day because they know we are a short passing team.
That's why Orr leads the team in tackles and is like #4 in the league.
Idk how this offense still fails to figure out a zone with 4 rushers.

Do the 2016 Ravens pick up chunk yards? lol
SPECIAL TEAMS!!!!!
See how SSS beat the zone. We need that.
Just now, terrynjulia03 said:Nah I can't get happy either. You're at the 3. The old Ravens would just punch it in on the ground.
True that.
Good catch Waller especially after dropping what should have been a TD.
Just now, redlobster said:Mike Wallace the drop again
I know he should catch it regardless but he got hit in the head right before it got there. Maybe messed up his concentration
Judon isn't very good on special teams...

Blount will have a field day then. But yea, in obvious passing situations, it might be better to use Levine when White and Lewis are in.

I don't think so. It sounds weird but Joe sometimes needs to hold the ball longer when the protection is fine. A lot of his throws are checkdowns because he doesn't want to hold the ball longer than 3-4 secs unless the play is designed for that.

#1 defense though right
Big plays. Mosley or Orr on White or Lewis is a matchup nightmare.
If Marty is a good OC, he will scheme up some stuff to beat the Patriots zone. The Patriots might adjust assuming that he does just that.
They need to find a way to punish the Patriots cb blitzes. Joe is seeing them but the quick throw doesn't work because the safety is sliding over.

If he gets some space on the slant , look out .
That's the beauty of him and Wallace. The big play isn't a 40 yard pass, it's a 7 yard pass with a 40 yard run and Marty realizes that. Slants and crosses.
The good: Complete game by the Offense and Defense.
The bad: Penalties I guess and turnovers (Pitta's fumble wasn't a fumble imo)
Btw Perriman is deceptively fast. His td run looked like he was jogging into the endzone.
Very unbalanced on offense but the gameplan was obviously to take advantage of their defense with various combination routes especially when running against their d-line would be near impossible. Very good job by Mornhinweg.
Just now, arnie_uk said:That final drive with the first down run, the unblocked mlb up the middle on second down so he throws it away and then pitta not making the sticks on third down?
That drive?
Don't bother. He ignores the fact that in that situation we should be running it to ice the game especially with West and Dixon who are tough backs. The blocking still leaves a lot to desire.
Justin Tucker is the GOAT and how about our D-line on the last drive. 4 knockdowns and another strip sack.
This offense though... 3 50+ yard field goals. Only 19 points and again the offensive production drops in the 2nd half. Also, the run game still leaves a lot to desire especially when we need it to ice a game. The O-line is so frustrating because imagine if they could give West and Dixon 2-3 yards before contact. I miss the Ravens of old.
Just now, PoeDinkum said:Stay classy, Ravens. Seriously. No wonder the Patriots trounce our tail. This is how we are closing out games?!
Yea why risk a return? Smartest play of the game.
Just now, RaineV1 said:Dixon has shown some great moves in avoiding people in the back field. Just imagine if he could get positive yards before having to make people miss.
Imagine if our o-line could consistently block so he and West could get 3 yards before contact.

Especially the 15 yard late hit.
Penalties (season high btw) and inconsistent offense (did nothing in the 3rd quarter). Same old, same old.
Good: The Win
The Bad: The offense and the pass rush =/
The Ugly: Same problems as always Penalties (Might as well change our name to the Baltimore Holding Penalties), bad o-line play, Joe is still off (he made some good throws but that interception was bad), WRs not getting open.
I don't want to be a Debby Downer but that was a very ugly game. The Steelers were just more incompetent today. Either way, a win is a win.
