Why does everyone hate on Wormley? Hes a solid pick in the 3rd. Not much bust factor there

Another D-lineman. The Ravens have drafted a d-lineman in the 1st 3 rounds going back to 2013. You can include 2012 too if consider Upshaw a d-lineman. There was also offensive players still on the board at the time when we selected Wormley. I agree though, Wormley is a solid pick and should be in rotation immediately.

  2. Offense???? Naw bruh. DEFENSE!!!! DEFENSE!!!! DEFENSE!!!! Free agency = DEFENSE!!! Draft = DEFENSE!!!. Apparently the defense was the problem last year or Ozzie secretly hates Joe. Anyway Boldin, Mangold and Dunlap (I guess). We're gonna win every game off of JT's leg anyway.

  3. Alright, I wasn't super pumped about the Humphrey pick at 1st because it's a deep CB class. I realized this though: Jimmy always gets hurt. Cinci drafted John Ross, Bryant is back for the Steelers and Cleveland still has a bunch of picks. Our defense falls apart when one person goes down and we can't have that anymore.

What plays did Shanahan call that were so terrible?

Kept calling pass plays when they should have been running the ball. On 3rd and 1, in their own territory, led to a strip sack. Then they were in Patriots territory on like the 30 and they passed it and it led to sack for like 13 yard loss. If Shanahan was a Raven, he would be burned at the stake because we know all too well about that type of playcalling this year.

So i've missed most of the game, anyone got a summary of hwo things have gone? Brady looks off to me and blount ineffective.

Falcons Defense pretty much dominating. Pressure on Brady with only four down lineman. They have rarely blitzed and have hit Brady a lot. Essentially, they are doing exactly what you need to beat Brady.

Also two redzone turnovers by the Pats.

Defense put us in position to win the game.  Two picks inside the 30, if the offense scores tds there game over.  But sure, give it to Flacco. The legit worst offense i have seen in a ravens uniform. Where is Trent Dilfer, Jermaine lewis, Jamal or ray Rice and the 2000 Ravens D when you need them.

You do realize that if the offense had scored 14 points instead of 10 from those picks and the game went the exact same way, the score would be 31-31. We go to overtime and probably still lose because defense wasn't stopping them in the 4th quarter and the offense was inconsistent. 75, 90, 75 yard drives. Btw all those drives took less than 3 minutes each. Sure, the offense missed opportunities all game, but the defense blew it in the 4th quarter (mainly the last drive). 21 points and almost 300 yards given up by the defense in one quarter is a recipe for disaster.

  7. Defense was terrible mainly the run defense (We're supposed to be #1 run defense and everyone knows that Philly loves to run the ball). I'm not a Flacco hater but there was no excuse to throw that pick. That almost blew the game because we could have gone up by 13 points or 17. We really shouldn't be passing in that situation so we can waste more time. I don't trust this team - coaching staff and players.

    LOL!!

Triple teaming one guy while Wagner has three rushers crashing in on him, doubling up the guy behind Flacco while Nankovich comes in untouched...I mean it absolutely blows my mind that six blockers vs five pass rushers, and we find a way to let three guys come in untouched. And our receivers STILL find a way to get blanketed! Jesus

It's 6 on 6 or should be at least. I think Juice looks like he was blocking cuz it doesn't like he was sneaking out to run a route.

If there was more time, Flacco could have maybe attempted a throw to Pitta in the back corner of the endzone.

It's easy to complete passes when you're only throwing 1-2 yards. Flacco's higher-than-normal completion rate this season is misleading because most of his throws are easy lobs behind the LOS.

On our last two drives: Flacco had a completion to Perriman for 47 yards on the 2nd to last drive and completions of 20 yards and 25 yards to Wallace and SSS on the final drive. All 3 completions used the sidelines. The offense inability to adjust until 4th quarter has buried it all season. The season has been about missed opportunities.

Ravens are who we thought they were. An average to below team on offense depending on the week and the defense is good to ok depending on the opponent.

.pollard may have a point here

He doesn't. Ray retired, Reed wanted too much money, went to the Texans and Jets and showed that injuries had taken too much a toll so he retired the next season. The Boldin trade was bad and blew up royally in 2013. The jury is still out if the Ngata trade was bad because people like Pierce and Jernigan (kind of). Don't forget that Pollard was a liability in coverage. He was a true old school SS and that doesn't fly in this new league hence why he's a free agent.

  11. The Patriots were rushing 4 and playing zone the majority of the game. The fact that we didn't run plays to exploit that says a lot. Also, Flacco needs to hold on to the ball sometimes and let plays develop a little more. He is too quick to checkdown and I believe the Patriots knew that. Hence why they played zone all day.

Defense was pretty bad today but the offense still let us down by not doing anything for a half.

Also, Hester is a liability. He should be cut and Camp should be promoted. At least Camp can provide some shiftiness in the slot assuming he can stay healthy.

I know the announcers say that the Ravens have a tougher schedule remaining then the Steelers but they both play 5 wins teams the teams in the division with worse records than them and then each other.  The schedule is basically a wash at this point if the Ravens magically somehow out of sheer magic win tonight.

Steelers get the Browns. We get the Eagles who will be tough. Steelers also get the Bengals at home too, I think.
