  1. TD in the red zone after a mistake. Oh myyyy
  2. Omg false starts screw us AGAIN.
  3. Yea he did it last week with Gillmore on the last drive.
  4. Why is CJ still in coverage?
  5. No production in the red zone again. Busted *** play that has chance of working. Story of our year.
  6. Old man WR making plays. It's truly marvelous.
  7. You're serious? JF missed his block and Hurst whiffed. Go re-watch the play. 2 secs top before they got there.
  8. I don't think he knew where the ball was.
  9. It still is Trestman's 1st year and it's not like we gave him a great cast to work with. Maybe more time in his offense will help though it does seem like that offense has taken a step back the last two games. Anyway I don't think it'll help to have a 5th OC in 5 years.
  10. I'm not pointing at Flacco for the loss; I'm pointing at the offense as a whole starting with Trestman.
  11. Our 2 minute offense is bad. When we got the red zone, a lot of execution errors so I can see what he means.
  12. I disagree with the defense being worse than the offense. The offense did nothing the 2nd half except for the very last drive. ST blocked a punt and put the offense on the 1. Given how the game went and compared to the other games this season, the defense played alright.
  13. The Panthers have probably a worse WR corps then us, but have a better defense and their QB is a dual threat. Joe is passing the ball better than Cam but Joe has turned the ball over more. The Panthers have a +6 turnover differential while we are -5. The Panthers are 5-0 because they don't screw up as much (poor play-calling, poor decisions/throws, dropped passes on 3rd down/TD's, blown leads/big plays, etc.) and take advantage of opportunities hence by their +6 turnover differential.
  14. Joe makes some of the most WTH decisions, see 2nd Int yesterday for instance. He also makes big time throws which his receivers drop, see 2 TDs passes dropped SSS and the I guess the drop by Buck. Regarding other QBs and whether they make people better, sometimes the system you're in makes a huge difference. Chad Johnson was pretty good in Cinci and was not very good in NE. Kamar Aiken couldn't make any other teams roster and he's become serviceable here. SSS seemed like he was on the decline in Carolina and he's a top 15 receiver here at age 36. Torrey doesn't seem that great in SF and wasn't really great under Kubiak's system but seemed better under Cam's and Caldwell's systems. Golden Tate seems better in Detroit than he was in Seattle. So honestly you can never know how someone will perform under a different system and with different teammates and it's a lot more complicated than so and so QB just makes people better. Also regarding Rodgers specifically, he's a better QB than Joe (more mobile, rarely makes asinine decisions, makes all the throws), but GB has also invested more in his weapons than we have for Joe. Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, Davante Adams were all 2nd round picks. Some of course aren't going to pan out and some are going to leave in free agency/trades but at least GB made the effort.
  15. For CBs, I would trust a vet who's been on teams over a 4th round rookie.
  16. Thank you, thank you. Good coaches put their players in a position to succeed. Great coaches hide their weaknesses. Bad coaches do neither and then blame them when though don't succeed and your weaknesses pop up.
  17. Naw it's peace as in he needs to peace out.
  18. Even with this offense and defense, if we learn to finish drives when we get within 10 yards (been a problem for years now), we can still win a lot more games. We don't have a good redzone td %. Idk how to fix it though, maybe get more creative with play-calling in the redzone?
  19. Yea it's not fair to him. On the flipside though, it's Torrey so you can't bite on Torrey's double move. On the flip-flip side, maybe don't leave your brand new corner one on one with no safety help with a guy who's known for burning defenses. Looking at you Pees.
  20. I hope he's always been like that behind closed doors and was just lying in public because this defense has been an embarrassment to Ravens defenses, and this offense can't finish drives. Like seriously how many times are you gonna fail to finish drives.
  21. Defense still sucked. Offense did them no favors with Joe throwing 2 terrible ints and of course more injuries. Still sucked though because Kap looked pretty good out there. Coordinators and coaches typically have 4 year contracts. I believe Pees never signed an extension so he might be gone anyway via his contract being up.
  22. Aren't we playing the Cards in Arizona next? I believe it's on Monday Night too.
  23. Torrey torched him for a TD (no surprises, no safety help, 9 guys close to line of scrimmage), fell down on the TD to Quinton Patton.
  24. Yep wasting TOs always comes back to bite us. Like really, blow a TO at 14:17 in the 3rd quarter when you're down!?
  25. Our 2 minute offense is unbelievable sloppy. Guys were jogging, and wasting 15 secs to call a play instead of spiking it. Joe's picks killed opportunities. Dropped passes on TD throws. The field screwed JT on his kick (like wth with that hole?). This team cannot play as a unit. Someone always messes up bad.
