How do you know when your defense sucks? On the opening drive it gives the other team three 1st downs on penalties and then lets Andy Dalton jog into the end zone.

It doesn't matter who's playing CB if the opposing QB has 4 or 5 or 6 seconds to throw the ball. The Ravens' pass rush is already weak, but when Pees dials up those 3-man rush calls I just want to scream, you end up with 3 guys hopelessly flailing away against 5 blockers and something looking like a Chinese fire drill in the defensive backfield. Give that much time to Dalton and Roethlisberger and we'll be toast.

Flacco seems to have a bad habit of throwing off his back foot when in the red zone. He throws those soft high passes that either get defended or intercepted....and throwing jump balls to Steve Smith makes no sense, do that with Waller, Brown or Gillmore.

one week the offense doesn't show up, the next week the defense doesn't show up.....could be a long sad season.

The Ravens secondary looked completely lost at times, especially the corners......of course it didn't help that the pass rush was nonexistent, heck, even the run defense was soft. The next two teams that the Ravens play have pretty stout offenses, so an 0-4 start is not out of the question. I'm not a Dean Pees fan right now.....and settling for FG's is not a recipe for winning.

If that secondary and pass rush don't improve we're gonna be 0-4. Carr was the least experienced QB that the Ravens will face in these first 4 games. Yikes.....even the play calls on that last Ravens possession were horrible.

The worst Ravens defense I've ever seen. The Ravens will never win much with a Dean Pees defense.

Ravens might have to win the division to make the playoffs this year.....Bills, Dolphins, Chiefs and Chargers all have the potential to win 10 games with Patriots, Colts and Broncos winning their divisions. The Charger and Dolphin games will be crucial.

I'm just happy that Flacco survived that game. That d-line outplayed our o-line all day. Just two field goals is going to get an L every time in this league.

If our offense keeps playing like it did today we're not going to have to worry about any other team poaching Trestman at the end of the year.

If it's the same achilles......his career might be over, even if not, who knows what's gonna happen with Suggs. Sad day for Ravens fans.

The NFL provides the headsets....and the Patriots broadcast the game on the exact same frequency that the visiting team was using. Umhum, nothing to see here.

If the defensive secondary, including Asa, doesn't improve, Asa and the kickoff return team will be on the field pretty often.

Our secondary made Cousins and McCoy look like Brady and Rodgers.....that's not good when you consider that our first real game will be against a pretty decent QB.

What was that phantom call on Gillmore's TD catch? I ran that play back a few times on the DVR and couldn't see a thing. Not flagging Robinson for the WWE pile driver move was a joke. The spotting of McGhee's 3rd down run and the subsequent delay of game penalty was a head scratcher too. Just a weird game, glad it doesn't count.

Looks like Perriman and I will tie for number of catches and yards gained for the 3rd game in a row.

I enjoy watching Campanaro play in those 2 or 3 games per year when he his healthy.

The irony is that Suggs got flagged on a play that didn't even mess up Bradford's hair, while the Brandon Williams' hit was legal but left Bradshaw wondering if anybody got the license plate number.

The only thing that concerned me from last night's fiasco was that our starting defense got trucked on 2 drives.....and the number of penalties (although some of those calls were a little bogus).
