The protection wasn't there? Seriously, what game were you watching? I implore you to go back and watch the Ravens first 3 drives and watch his happy feet (with nobody around him) jump around in the pocket like a QB that's scared to get hit.

So so sick of all the Flacco apologists that want to make excuses for him, ya we had drops, ya the line broke down twice over the game. It's the NFL, other than Dak who is getting better protection than Joe got last night?

The guy has flat out regressed and his salary and poor play are directly correlating into Ls for the Ravens vs better opponents. His stats are god awful, minus his completion percentage (for obvious reasons). The guy lacks the mental fortitude to stand in the pocket and look down the field. Teams have taken away the middle of the field for Joe and if he's not blindly launching up a 50/50 ball he is throwing it to a back out of the backfield.

I understand that we are stuck with this sucktard for the next 2-3 years but that doesn't mean that I need to take it quietly. It is time to draft a QB in the 3/4th rd and have Joe look over his shoulder.

Joe Flacco the biggest disappointment of 2016. Don't ever tell me that bum is elite, we watched elite play last night.

If the right qb pops up sooner like late first or second why not take a shot... our 1st and 2nd rounds picks have been a cap shot anyways... we have had some hits and some misses. Yes we are stuck with the contract but that doesn't mean we have to play him and a real competition for him or at least playing the backup when the starter is not playing to par is not to much to ask.

You do realize the kind of dead money you're talking about would require crushing our cap for at least a year and cutting a pile of much needed veterans to get rid of a QB we can't reliably replace?

And that the biggest reason Prescott is able to do what is doing is a first round RB and a another 4+ first round OL, which we don't have? And that Wilson is probably the biggest quarterback draft steal since Tom Brady?

I understand the sentiment but you're Insane.

So mister cap manager what is the dead money.  We have a young group of lineman in Uershal Stanley Lewis that look good when playing. And who are these veterans that we will losing that aren't already coming off the books such as Suggs Smith and even Dumervill can be replaced. Weddle and Smith are the only defensive veterans I would hate to lose.  On offense we are young in the right positions.

  3. My opinion is that we have over spent on a franchise qb that has can not show consistency.  We rolled the dice thinking he could come back after the knee surgery and it looks like he is worse and I don't know if he will ever get what he did have back.  I am okay wit cutting or trading him and taking the dead money to rebuild. We have talent but haven't used it correctly. It's time to build the team up in the trenches and get back to smash mouth football. Draft a game manager at qb in the late rounds like Dallas did with Prescott or Seattle with wilson and hope to get lucky.

Really? Missed the playoffs since the Super bowl? Do You even fact check yourself on common team knowledge? Apparently not.

Did we make the playoffs last year... no... so to answer the question since the superbowl we have missed the playoffs and Flacco has regressed.

Wake up please and let it go!  We had the man for 4 years as a backup.  Now, Tyrod is the starting QB in Buffalo, where the HC wanted him and the team, taht fanbase and the system supports him!  Good for him!  He's doing his thing over there and looking pretty good.  Well, with the exception of standing behind the guard for the snap last week!  But, he made up for that with an incredible TD pass to end the drive and a win. :D

We have Flacco and he's the man here for a few more years.

My point exactly we had him as a backup in a system for Flacco... if we used him in the system we keep saying we want to use such as a running game with playaction and the occasional big plays than Taylor is your guy.  I know he is playing for a team that wants him... but we choose someone different and since that superbowl we have missed the playoffs and you can see the drop in play.  He is not the same guy and without big strong rec's such as Q who where willing to jump and give up there body he isn't completing at the same rate.  Even when he is not presured he is missing throws. It sucks that we didn't draft Prescott when we had the chance.  But we are stuck with Flacco again he's the only option we got.

  6. I want Taylor back... can we trade them for eachother... I don't know the cap casualties but he's younger has a strong arm and can move in the pocket... we complain that Flacco is not in the right system everytime we lose and get a new coordinator... but Taylor was never in the right system here.  We catered to Flacco and since his Super bowl he hasn't showed anything.  He may be tough but you can tell that knee injury is bothering him or scaring him.
