Will Ozzie pull a trade tho ? That's the biggest issue

If QBs go 1 and 2, nobody is going up to 6 to get Lynch. I don't think there will be a viable option to trade back. And I'd honestly be pretty upset if we did trade back, we're getting one of the top 4 players.

But he has "Raven" in his name... sounds like he's one of us

Right, lol. But I think we are looking for a late 1st round guy falling over a guy like Clark, who has a good frame with long arms, but I see him as more of a project. I take mocks with more then 1 round with a grain of salt because there's really no telling who is going to be available.

    Cravens then Le'Raven Clark?

Both huge reaches imo. Jeremiah did a mock last week where we took Buckner, Clark, then J Ward. I wouldn't like it one bit. Clark got worked during Senior Bowl practices...

Well, it all depends on the trading partner and the offer. Let's say eagles want to move up to get their qb before 49ers and giving up their 2nd. We would still get one of the elite guys.

Or rams giving up 2 2nds. We will have 15th, 36th, 43rd and 45th. We can even move up to late first and still have a 2nd rounder.

    Which one is better?

1 elite guy or 3 decent guys.

Eagles don't have a 2nd this year, they traded it for Bradford.

And normally i woukd would agree that 3 good guys is better than 1 elite, but we have very few elite players right now. We are in desperate need of one. And this is our highest draft pick in since Jamal Lewis, we need to take an elite player at 6, no question.

He was actually much better as a part time runner I think, he was no slouch as a receiver either, his blocking was nowhere close to leach and Neal though.

I do miss watching McClain from 08, he was probably the most entertaining part of that whole season aside from us finally having a qb. It was seriously a blast watching such a huge man make cuts so well and bowl over the likes of Lawrence Timmons and others.

The Cowboys game that year was pretty awesome. He ran all over them to close out their old stadium!!!!

Report: Patriots are sending Chandler Jones to Arizona for Jonathan Cooper and a 2nd round pick.

    Crazy.

Interesting.... Chandler's price tag is probably going to be in that 90M range. A 2 and Cooper is better than the 3rd round comp pick they would get for him after next year.

But honestly, after the Jimmy Grahm trade last year, nothing really surprises me anymore.

Now that it's been reported that K.O is looking for 10M+ per year for a deal, I am near certain he won't be a Baltimore Raven. Now the question becomes who do we really take at #6. I don't think we can afford to go defense if K.O is gone. My bet is now fully on Ronnie Stanley being our #6 pick unless of course he's taken by the Chargers at #3. Seriously K.O 10M? After playing 4 games at LT and that too because of the opportunity the Ravens gave you? Terrible.

I doubt any team is going to view him (or pay him) as a LT based on 4 games. Our coaches have worked with him for 4 years and are confident he can do it. It would be insane for a team to pay him 10M as a G. I think he tests free agency and re signs here.

I have pretty much ruled out Ramsey but he's 2nd on my board after tunsil. If we could get ramsey I would still want Thompson and I think our secondary would immediately become the strength of the team

I agree it's unlikely, but I could see a situation where the top 5 goes Bosa, QB, Tunsil, Jack, Buckner. It would be dependent on at least 1 QB going in the top 5.

  9. What I'm trying to say is that the depth behind SSS was not that good before the season started. We counted on an unproven rookie, Aiken (who was a pleasant surprise), Michael "Four Games a Season" Campanaro, Marlon "LOL" Brown and Darren Waller at the start of training camp. I hope the front office learned their lesson on counting on unproven, oft-injured, inexperienced and inconsistent WR's. We need more talent and more playmakers in that area.

I think I'm on topic in answering your question. If not, excuse the rant lol.

Agreed, and we can't rely on Steve coming back and catching 70 or 80 balls. The guy can still play, but he won't be doing it at the level he has in the past. Even if he does, he's done after this year. We need to get a elite playmaker and I'm fairly sure Trestman and Engram would get the most out of Treadwell.

  10. It sucks because Reed is my favorite defensive back player ever and neck and neck with Lewis as favorite player ever. That said, I find this interesting since he didn't join the Colts (Pagano) but Ryan. That's very peculiar to me.

Agreed. It's shocking he didn't go with his former Canes DC, but Rex. I guess he really is a players coach. Ed was definatly my favorite player of all time. I watch him all through college, was ecstatic when we drafted him, and absolutely loved watching him here. Now he's in Buffalo...
