  1. You're not kidding, that kid is electric!! 5'7 is a problem though. Still, 233 PR yards in 1 game is impressive. Should have been more too, he had one come back on a hold.
  2. The 2 teams that play in the Hall of Fame game get to start camp a week earlier than everyone else because the will be playing in a game before the other 30 teams.
  3. Congrats to my favorite football player of all time!!! I watched him and Sean Taylor light it up in Miami, then was absolutely ecstatic when we took him in the draft. It may be time to get my old #20 framed and put on the wall in the man cave!!! Best wishes, you have been and always will be missed in the purple and black!!!
  4. Suggs pales in comparison to Shannon. The guy was an absolute riot!!!! Shannon was just so loud and obnoxious. Suggs is subdued compared to Sharpe.
  5. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Peters wasn't even on our board at all with all of his problems. It's hard to say with Dupree, I think we looked at him hard since we ended up with his counterpart in the 4th. But it's hard to guess if he was rated above Perriman. If they had him 14th or 15th, it's doubtful Dupree was above him.
  6. I don't think we have any Shannon Sharpe type personalities on the team right now. The guy was hilarious!! "I said to Goose, I NEED RESTITUTION!!!!" I was in tears!!!! But I don't think Harbs is the kind of coach that would want us to be featured.
  7. Agreed, he seem more of a "natural" than Torrey was coming out. The more I think about Perriman, the more I like it. I would be happy if we could get another WR like Crowder who can make an impact on STs later on. Add a TE either later, or a guy like Gresham after the draft and our offense would be in better shape than it was last year at this time. It will be really interesting to see what we do in the 4th and 5th with all of those picks!!!!
  8. Welcome to bmore!!!! He wasn't my favorite player in the draft, but I'll take it!!! I liked him more than a RB or Devin Smith, so I'm happy. Can't wait to see what we do with our other 9 picks!!!!
  9. I have 31 (Jamal), 84 (Jermaine), 26 (Woodson), 52, 92, 82 (Torrey) and 20. None of which are still here and tbh, I may be done with them. I HATE the way Nike's are cut, I just can't find one that fits right. If I do get another it will most likely be 22, or maybe 29....
  10. I don't understand this one. The guy was inactive for all of last year, if I remember correctly. Why waste whatever amount of cap we spent on this guy? We could get a player of his caliber in the 6th round.
  11. No
  12. Agreed. I think a big part of the problem was Moller and Castillo trying to coach together. They had 2 different styles and I think it was a case of too many cooks in the kitchen. Castillo is obviously a good coach, he has dominate lines in Philly before he came here. Once we got rid of Moller, Kubiak simplified things slightly and we were dominate. I don't think that's coincidence.
  13. No, because Schaub never played in their systems.
  14. "Even if Schaub isn't playing, his knowledge of the offense allows him to be more involved than a typical backup quarterback. Flacco had one year in Kubiak's offense, but with him now gone, Flacco can lean on Schaub as he continues to grow within that offense. “Football is football, but at the same time there are certain things within certain offenses that from year to year you just pick up and grow from,” Schaub said. “I'm going to be a resource for Joe. I'm going to be there to push him, to help him continue to grow and develop.”" From our website...
  15. Nobody ever said coach. But let me ask you this; who do you think has a better knowledge of Kubiac's (our) system? Trestmen, Morningweig, and Flacco who have exactly 1 years worth of experience in this system combined, or a QB who played in it for 7 years and went to 2 PBs in it? Why do you think we brought in Forsett and Daniels last year?
  16. That's a pretty big 360, lmao!!!! Lol at you for not having a clue what you're talking about!!!! Lol
  17. Agreed. I posted yesterday that I wasnt in love with the idea of signing Schaub, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. As long as he didn't get more than 1 or 2M. He could really help this offense in the meeting rooms and TC. I think it's safe to say he mastered Kubiac's offense, so it should be beneficial for us.
  18. Yeah, I dont exactly love it either. Just saw our name mentioned...
  19. I just saw Shefter tweet we have shown intrest in Matt Schaub. Could be a good back up and is familiar with our system, as long as he's cheap!!!!
  20. "Internet GM"... I like that!!! Adding it to my resume!!!!! Lol
  21. Good. It's funny how many rules have changed because of NE. I'm sure Brady and BB will spend the offseason figuring out new ways to cheat themselves to winning another SB....
  22. Agreed, but didn't Cameron sign with Miami?
  23. And Brown was a 2nd for us in the same draft. No doubt we would be getting the better end of that deal, but they may be desperate and we could throw a late round pick in to sweeten it a little.
  24. I would definatly like that, although I don't think we could afford Vernon. And I think he's in the last year of his contract. I would be good with a straight up trade, Art Brown for TE Vance McDonald. I liked him a lot coming out of Rice a couple of years ago. He's big, can block, and has some pretty good receiving skills. He would be an upgrade.
  25. That's what they have to do to get player to sign. Pay them more than anyone else would consider. Hasn't worked out well for them in the past...
