Getting Tunsil is one thing...........Stanley is another. Tunsil would be a quality pick at #6, a difference maker on the OL. I think Stanley's just another OT and you can get that in round 2 or 3.
We need a CB, another CB and additional pass rush. I could care less about ILB. You might as well be drafting a Fullback or Guard with that pick.
We need to pick a corner with our first pick i cant stand to watch another year of us getting tourched. I feel like the ravens and any peyton manning team were the only teams that really challenged the patriots in the AFC, but with manning gone and our team under construction i fear the patriots will run through the afc like they been doing, this draft has to be a good one for the sake of the AFC and the league.
Agree. Other than Weddle, they seem content on bringing back all the same guys who sucked last year. We need quality, high draft picks at CB. No more practice squad players from other teams and giving up 6th and 7th round picks for someone off the Dolphins bench. I got absolutely sick of watching that secondary last year.
Disagree with Eisenberg completely here. When Monroe played, he did not do well at all. Everytime a RB was dropped or there was pressure coming, it was usually from Monroe's guy. The man missed 60-70% of his snaps over 2 years and was mediocre to bad in the ones he did play. Man, get RID of this guy. He's already gonna cost $6m for his remaining bonus. Don't give away another $6m in base salary. Dump him. I don't care who they get in his place, it doesn't matter to me because he's not going to play well anyway..........if he ever gets on the field at all!
We are pretty thin at ILBer, hopefully we can draft one who can compliment C.J, if Orr. or AB doesn't step up, or i could see us playing a lot more 4-3....If Robert Nkemdiche falls in the draft i could see us picking him as insurance with Williams future with us is unsure....
I think you spend high picks on CB and pass rush DEs. They cost you the most on the open market. ILBs and S are like Fullbacks and O-Guards these days. The way teams pass, pass, pass you need to play the pass first. Never would have said that 10 years ago.
Damn he better learn how to cover first, before he can lead the defense. Toasted by too many RBs and TEs last year.
Out to waste another $6M on this guy. We could have cut him and been done with this charade. Now instead of the $6m remaining bonus, we'll be paying him the $6m bonus plus $6m of base salary this year. Sucks.
Is Jack a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 OLB?
Marlon Brown? Again? Man we are really begging for more punishment. The guy disappeared more and more with each passing year and was totally invisible last year despite all the starting receivers being out.
Speaking of needing speed at the WR position what's the latest on Perriman?
He's currently day to day with a "bruised knee".
I just want to point something out to the people that still bash Flacco's contract...
Brock Osweiler just got paid $72 MILLION dollars for 4 years. That's 18 million dollars a year for a guy that has played 7 games, and went 5-2 in those games.
Flacco has won more playoff games than Osweiler has regular season games. And people still think Flacco is overpaid.
He won his money with the 2012 SB. After that, I'm ok with whatever they pay him.
I think this would be a good move. Wallace was a rising star in Pitt but chose the big money (and big headaches) of going to teams that have no offense and no QB. Needless to say his production dropped off the table. He's still young and would be a nice replacement for Torrey Smith's old job.
I don't get it. The guy Trawick hasn't had a fair shot at playing time, but what I've seen so far is that he's a far better player than even Matt Elam. Elam and Lewis suck and there's a bunch of clowns running around in that secondary that have no business to be on a pro football team. Don't understand why they wouldn't give him a low tender.
Pac Man. Great. The guy who made the stupidest play of the year, blowing a postseason win for his team. The guy who couldn't stay out of trouble in Tenn & Dallas, got arrested an unreal amount of times. I hope we're not so desperate that we made this mistake.
Give Cromartie 3 years 15mil, with 10 guaranteed. Offer Pacman similar.. 1 should take it.. 4-5mil avg per year should get a top 20 CB
Cromartie was released 1 year into his 4 year deal so I can't see him being any kind of player we'd want to have.
If the Cowboys cut Morris Claiborne I hope the Ravens bring him in for a look.
Nah. He's another big time bust who couldn't stay healthy his entire tenure in Dallas. I think he scored a 4 on the wonderlic at the combine and that's probably all you need to know. We don't need anymore IQ problems in our secondary. I really hope we spend our 1st or 2nd pick on a CB.
Yuck. Better start drafting some CBs.
Ozzie just stop it! We need MAJOR upgrades here, not the same cesspool of talent that lost us 11 games last year (and a huge playoff game in 2014). That whole secondary should have been dismantled in the offseason.
If bosa is there and we get him... Do you think he would be best filling in as upshaws replacement and let z Smith play the mcphee role or the other way around?
Just curious what everyone thinks
Bosa would fit nicely into Sugg's "4-3" DE spot, don't see him as a 3-4 OLB covering anyone downfield (as Upshaw did) and sure wouldn't want to move him inside as a 3-4 DE like McPhee. It would be a nice problem to have. Just can't imagine it happening unless other people jump into the top 5 because of the combine.
He's not Ogden, so get off of it. We need secondary and WR.
Only 1 QB will be off the board by the time the Ravens pick. Dallas is not taking a QB.
Really worry that once the PEDs are gone, the talent is gone with it. We'll have to see how he performs once he gets back. Might not be good enough.
I'm certain Urschel can do the job at OG, so getting Osemele at LT will allow us to turn our attention completely away from the OL in the first two rounds. We desperately need playmakers in our secondary and at WR. Hope this deal works out.
Talk is cheap. Show me Perriman running full-speed routes and catching passes and THEN we'll believe.

Guess they forgot to mention "can't tackle" and "can't cover".
