Here are my top 32 (not considering position/off-field issues/injuries- except for tiebreakers; out of 113 currently reviewed prospects):
I actually do think that this is an interesting idea. A lot of people on here (a) seem to really know their stuff and (b) have "Big Boards" and it would be pretty interesting to see how things shook out if they were calling the shots.
After seeing the details of the incident (per Robert Klemko), I don't want the Ravens to touch him. Seems like a headcase.
So Rueben Foster got sent home, but I would still be suprised if he's available at 16.
Honestly I'd take Zuttah over Mangold any year after like 2013.

Now if Wagner was an option at LT than maybe I could see that big payday that many others do. But I just don't see it. He'll be among the highest paid RTs no doubt but I don't think that number goes higher than 7M per year and 16M guaranteed at signing. Those numbers wouldn't even place Wagner among top 10 LT contracts.
So if Wagner gets LT money, i'd be really surprised.
Problem is that considering age/talent there aren't many OL about to hit the market that are on Wagner's level. Plus aside from Ramczyk/Bolles, there aren't any draft options that provide Wagner-level play at this point.
So many teams have a ton of money this offseason and bidding is going to drive Wagner's price up. I'd be surprised if Wagner got less than 8mil/year if he gets to the open market.
It's almost nostalgic seeing all these washed up icons on the market. Makes me want to fire up a copy of Madden 08.
I'd imagine that the Laurent Duvernay-Tardif deal (8mil/year for 5 years) is probably going to drive up the Wagner price.

Hawkins probably more injury-prone than Campanaro at this point.
SS/FS designations haven't mattered since Reed and Pollard were the guys. Weddle and Webb basically had the same role last year.

I think the biggest issues with the FO's drafting in recent years is twofold.
1. How many years have we had the same hole that we haven't filled? BPA is great and all, but at some point, you have to make the move get a guy at a position that hasn't worked out for several years. We need to choose where to be stingy. We don't want to pay FAs but we also don't want to give up draft capital to get someone either. When a position has been a problem for several years in a row, you have to pick and choose what you want to do and we've lacked heavily in that area.
2. Where are the star players? It's great that we keep hitting these doubles and getting good, quality players, but you need some top shelf talent to go along with it. This team has been hit hard by the complete lack of playmakers on the roster in recent years. We've failed to draft one and that has been a big reason for these consecutive rough years.
Ozzie and Eric have done a lot of great things for this organization, but they clearly have to shoulder a good bit of blame for the recent struggles of the team. I'm not saying they should be fired or anything or that I want them replaced at this juncture, but they shouldn't get a pass either.
They're definitely far from perfect (I remember watching a Decosta interview after the 2012 draft where he said Gino Gradkowski was his favorite pick that year), but they still have done a better job dealing with turnover than any other GM I can think of.
I can't think of a team thats hit on their last 3 1st Round Picks. I haven't done the research, but Mosley, Perriman, and Stanley is probably an above average haul.

Im going to wake up to like 20 "But Ozzie is a terrible GM because Matt Elam can't tackle" takes and the like.
I've still never heard a logical rationale for why Ozzie Newsome would be considered a bad GM using a realistic standard.
Funny thing is there's like 20 teams with 30+ mil in cap space and not that many players worth overpaying. I wouldn't even be surprised if someone tossed him 5 or 6 mil.
This mock is awesome. I'd be hyped if the Ravens got a haul like this. Moton is one of my favorite mid round prospects. Almost reminds me of KO coming out.
8 hours ago, PurpleHorseman said:Correct. It was a round7 tender before. If he is tendered again that would be a very small price for such a impact potential breakout player. On a per snap basis he was #1 of all interior lineman for rush productivity with a load of pressures. If ravens got him conditioned for larger number of snaps as a primary tackle in our system; Then he could be one of best defensive players in the league. His run game production was very good as well.
Putting him in a mix with Mosley, Judon,Jernigan and a couple new Young impact players on defensive side of the ball. The defense could dominate again. Add in a Taco Charlton and Hassan Reddick or a Tim Williams and Cunningham. Actually any combination of those rookies with Easley added to the mix would make ravens defense destructive again.
I could be wrong about this, but since Easley was a first round pick, then wouldn't it require giving up a second round pick no matter what? Because (a) if he gets a Round 1 tender, then the Ravens would have to give up their Round 1 pick, (b) if he gets a Round 2 tender, then the Ravens would have to give up their Round 2 pick, and (c) if he gets the lowest tender, the Ravens would need to give up their Round 2 pick (because Easley was a Round 1 pick originally, and compensation for the lowest tender is based off of the original draft position- with a Round 2 pick being the highest that is possible).
I think Easley is good, but is the extra cap burden and loss of a Round 1 or 2 pick worth it?
24 minutes ago, PurpleHorseman said:With all the WR talk I'm throwing out a couple players that could be difference makers from the trenches. Kevin Zeitler is one of the better guards in the game. Harbaugh and Biscotti want an elite offensive line that moves opposition off the ball while having mobility to zone block. Zeitler gets the offense moving in that direction. With Stanley, Yanda and Zeitler the ravens are in the conversation of the best lines in the game. Throw in Lewis taking a step forward as an above average guard or RT. And ravens drafting an above average starter like Lamp,Robinson,Dawkins,Feeney and Moton that pans out in first 2/3 rounds and ravens are in business.
Joe Flacco played his best football in 2012 playoffs and 2014 season when his line played like one of the best. He was a pro bowler in 2014 and the best QB in the game through the 2012 playoffs. Joe has the laser arm/accuracy like the top5 QBs in the game like Brady, Rogers, Luck and Bree's. He doesn't scan the WR's as quick triggered as those guys and struggles when rushed. But when allowed to comfortably process the plays he is as good or better than the names mentioned. I apologize if that angers anybody. I know there are fans that would like to see what a new talent can do for us. But I think Joe is the prolific guy fans are wanting if protected. And if he is protected he will give it to those fans that want a high octane offense. And he only needs good competent WR's to get it done. My opinion.
The second signing is a player with immense skill that will not cost a lot. Dominique Easley was derailed by injuries and squabble's with Belichick. As did our Adalius Thomas. He is a little mature now and injuries no longer effecting his play. He has his complete athleticism and explosion back. He is so explosive he makes Aaron Donald look like a plodder. Like Donald He is stronger than he looks to at 6'1 285lbs. He will not break the bank and somebody is going to get an all pro caliber steal with him. He is as big a breakout candidate there is.
Easley playing to his potential could be that dominant defender of ravens tradition the team needs and fans want to see. Throw in a dominant draft pick or 2 like Taco Charlton/Hassan Reddick or Tim Williams/Baker with Easley on defense. And ravens in a blink could be back to a dominant defense that intimidates the league like before.
Easley is an RFA, so the FO would need to give up a pick to sign him assuming the Rams tender him.
I actually don't mind this mock that much. I think very highly of Ramczyk (as long as the hip checks out) and would definitely consider him if that's how the board falls by the time the Ravens pick. After seeing bad lines be the most common reason (behind bad QB play) teams don't succeed, I'll never complain about a lineman being taken highly, especially if Wagner isn't on the team next year. I thought the Titans made a terrible decision to reach for Conklin last year, but that was a huge get for them and a big reason their rushing game was so successful- and without considering the injury/surgery, I think Ramczyk is a better player than Conklin was coming out.
I'm not touching the Westbrook can of worms.
Tomlinson and Rasul Douglas are my favorite picks of this mock though. I'd be happy to grab them in the 3rd/4th Rounds.
Psalm Wooching was my favorite Day 3 guy... So I guess I need to find a new one ![]()
19 minutes ago, Jacquouille said:Yeah, I don't know about Robinson, even at G. Doesn't remind you guys too much about Greg Robinson?
I'd rather have Lamp or Feeney, those are much safer picks that bring instant value.
I think playing Robinson at guard masks his pass pro deficiencies (namely waist-bending) to an extent, but his general lack of athleticism and inconsistent ability to get to the second level as a blocker would be frustrating. It'll be interesting to see how he moves at the combine.
Guard or Tackle, I'd still hate to see him go in the First, especially if any of Lamp, Feeney, Ramczyk and Bolles are on the board. I've even see players like Dawkins, Davenport, Moton and Garcia getting more love (albeit by the media) than Robinson.
I've been seeing a lot of buzz about Jalen Robinette (Air Force) on Twitter lately. Personally, I'm having some trouble seeing him as anything more than an average vertical threat with some talent for contested catches. But I was curious if any of you have spent some time looking at him?
1 minute ago, trevorsteadman said:I don't like Ragland complimenting CJ Mosley though because Ragland is a more raw version of CJ coming out of college. He is good against the run and terrible in coverage. Right now Mosley is one of the best if not the best inside linebacker against the run. What the team needs is an athletic linebacker who works well in coverage.
I don't think Ragland is terrible in coverage, his instincts are good enough to cover his athletic deficiencies imo. The defense worked well with Mosley playing the Will LB and Daryl Smith playing the Mike LB (Not that the distinction is extremely relevant in Pees's system), and I think Ragland is more athletic than Daryl Smith.
I'd be curious if Buffalo would take a 4th/5th for Reggie Ragland. He seems like the opposite of what McDermott valued at the position in Carolina and might not have a future up there. I'm not sure that he'd be a 3 down player, but if the run defense is a concern with Brandon Williams likely leaving, he might be a helpful piece.

Thanks for the feedback, this is my first year experimenting with trying to quantify "ratings" for players- so I am interested in seeing how things turn out. I am trying to figure out a better way to somewhat overcome the issue of "well-rounded" players ending up higher than others- so for Garrett Bolles, since I consider him a great run-blocker and above-average pass-blocker he is going to score better than Ryan Ramczyk (who I think is a better pass-blocker, but worse run-blocker) and Cam Robinson (who many might consider a better run-blocker than Bolles- not me though). Ultimately, I do think Bolles is going to end up being the best tackle out of this draft. I honestly don't really know why people aren't higher on him.
I love Marcus Williams instincts though, aside from Adams and maybe Hooker, I don't think any of the other safeties in this class are as mentally ready as he is for the next level. I think the corners in this class are good, but I think that there is a top tier (Lattimore, Wilson, Jones) and a slight dropoff to the second tier (Conley, Humphrey, White, Awuzie, Tabor). Ultimately I would probably take a couple of these guys over Williams since CB is a glaring need.
I am bigger on Montravius Adams though because I think he has rare athletic ability for a 300+ pounder. I think he can develop into one of the best 3T/5T tackles in the league- and that was before I even saw that he ran a 4.87(??) 40 at the combine. I like Brantley but I don't think his athleticism puts him on Adams level.
And since this is a learning experience for me, I didn't mind putting Joe Mixon on, he won't be this high on any boards (and is probably off the boards of 20+ teams). I don't know if he'll play a down in the NFL, but I think seeing how his traits translate to the NFL is a helpful part of the learning process for me. I'm definitely not trying to understate the significance of his incident or condone his activity or anything. This is meant to be more of a general big board than a Ravens-specific one.
