I think the offense can get it together. Monroe could make a big difference if he comes back, Hurst really seemed to be responsible for most of the pressure from Ware. Buck Allen looked a lot better than he did during the preseason and Gillmore was tough to get down on a couple catches he had. I'm not too worried at this point.
You just started it, congratulations.
But I wanted to start the Michael Vick trade demands tho... AND we should sign CJ2K because speed and leadurship. Is Jake Long still alive btw?
Anybody know if the "we should have kept Tyrod and traded Joe" comments have started yet?
I don't really think Perriman is going to be a savior in his rookie year. Everybody knew he needed a lot of development when we drafted him. The Broncos defense is a really good defense and I think we need to wait another week or 2 before going into crisis mode. The Broncos have two of the best pass rushers in the NFL and two of the best corners in the NFL and I honestly thought it was surprising to see the Ravens hang in while essentially using the opposing coach's offensive playbook. The defense played really well without Suggs and Jernigan at least. Let's see how the offense deals with Oakland, Aldon Smith and Khalil Mack are no joke, hope they make some changes this week.
Kyle Arrington was released and not waived for a reason. The Pats believe his contract is overvalued versus his Fair Market Value. He's gonna find the highest offer and go back to the Pats so they can match it and lock him in at a lower rate. The better teams like us and the Pats have been engaging in this excercise for years.
Not all players, especially guys with families, are interested in uprooting and moving all over the place. They'll happily have an understanding with their team that they'll dabble in the market and settle for a Fair Market Value match (essentially a value-verified pay cut).
He was released because players who accrue more than 4 NFL seasons cannot be waived. I wouldn't mind if they kicked the tires on him. He probably will end up back in NE, but who knows, maybe he could think he has a better chance of making a Super Bowl with the Ravens than with the Patriots, especially after all the punishments and such. I don't even think 3 million a year is that bad for him to be honest.

This was the easiest game on the schedule. Need to step it up.
