We can rebuild... or he can just edit his pick.
Things were going so well
With the Seventh Pick, The LA Chargers select Marshon Lattimore, CB, Ohio State
Replacing Brandon Flowers with a player they didn't expect to be there.
Always bad for a safety prospect when you have as many failed drug tests as interceptions imo.
Just now, Sami84 said:As long as we don't draft jabril peppers or taco charlton and preferably not cam robinson i think i'll be happy.
I'd agree, if you add John Ross to that list it basically matches mine.
I still want the team to draft Lamp and try him at center.

If it's actually true, I'd be more worried about the concussions than the behavior. But this whole kind of saga has a pattern that somewhat frightens me though. I can't really make calls from the outside looking in, but if the Ravens take him, I'll definitely be hoping that they've done their homework on the kid.

It's definitely realistic. I'd be a little upset if the Ravens took Dawkins over Moton (if Moton was still available), but otherwise I'd be happy.
This is really solid and realistic. I can tell you've put a lot of time into checking out some under the radar guys. I really like the Barnett, Dawkins, Taylor and Roullier picks. Lee could also end up being a huge pick up in the 6th- might just be me but I see some shades of Orr to his game (the good and the bad). I'll need to check out Griffin later.
Great job though. Really good read. Actually the first mock I think I've seen anywhere where the Steelers don't go LB.
According to Tony Pauline, a team that was planning on taking Foster in the middle of round 1 has backed off after the diluted sample, apparently because of both "horrible behavior" and "concussion issues."
Not sure if its worth paying attention to, but definitely could be a big factor in seeing where he goes in the draft.

It'll come down to his character aside from the diluted sample and hospital incident I think. I personally believe that the most significant "character issues" are the ones we never hear about. Arrests and stuff like that always play a role, but I think that maturity gets judged off prospect visits, deep background checks and combine interviews.
I'd imagine if Mosley and Foster were as close as it seems, that probably helps him a lot in the eyes of the FO.

I'd be okay with Foster, but Im not sure teams will care that much. Shane Ray got cited for Marijuana possession the week of the draft and still went in the first.
Really gotta trust him to take him now since he's in the substance abuse program and is going to be tested more often.
Honestly I'd be thrilled with Wilson and Bowser in Rounds 1 and 2. Corey Davis is just the icing on the cake. Im not sure why Wilson's stock has been falling so much, but this would be an ideal draft for the Ravens imo. Good job.

However, Cam isn't as bad as people on the board like to believe he is. As a guard he could be an elite run blocker. He has rare brute strength. Even as a RT I don't think he would be bad. He has some clunky footwork at times, but when he initializes the contact and latches on, he is often very hard to get through or around in time. Watch Garrett v Robinson.
I'm not giving much of a look to the Garrett-Robinson matchup that game. I thought it was pretty clear that Garrett was playing contain against Hurts for most of the game.
I love Bolles. Best Run Blocker in this class by far. No other lineman in this draft has his instincts, ability to get to the second level, or his edge. Not an Anderson guy though. Still + from me though.

Im honestly not sure the Ravens could snag a 3rd with any of the TEs. Maxx probably has the most value but I'm not sure anyone would part with higher than a 4th to get him.
My unsourced, crazy hunches:
Leonard Fournette goes at the second pick, whether someone trades up or not.
Zay Jones goes before Corey Davis.
Marshon Lattimore is the third CB drafted.
2 offensive linemen go in the top 10.
Ravens trade a TE during the draft.
23 minutes ago, JoeyFlex5 said:Not to mention his bend that is just not human like. His balance when he drops that shoulder and shortens those wide turns into the pocket are unreal, it may be the best bend I've ever seen from a college prospect, and best I've seen since Demarcus ware.
His burst is ten times what upshaws was, he has an insane bend which upshaw has none of, his hands coming out are better than upshaws in year 4, his inside rush actually involves a setup and disengage, all upshaw did was bullrush, and he isn't the most explosive but he does have an extra gear to take advantage of the slightest opening which he does very consistently.
How anyone could dislike Barnett is beyond me, I understand some want an athletic freak edge rusher, but bending and disengaging are hands down the most important aspects of pass rushing and Barnett crushes everyone in those categories.
I think people want to grab athletic freaks as edge rushers. There's a million analysts out there extremely focused on quantifying athleticism (for edge players specifically). Guys like Khalil Mack and Von Miller really set that precedent.
The Ravens have never really seemed to be extremely concerned with picking up edge rushers with extreme athleticism. The guys they've drafted that most fall into that category- Kindle and Correa- haven't really blown up. It definitely seems like they value strength and technique over raw athleticism, which brings in guys like Suggs, McPhee, Upshaw, ZDS, Judon, more often than the Correa, Kindle types. Barnett definitely fits the mold of what the Ravens seem to look for in an edge player with his elite technique, so he's definitely in the top 5 players I could see the Ravens taking.
Cam Robinson and John Ross by far.
TBH I don't expect any of T. Williams, S. Jones or Peppers to be there when the Ravens pick in Round 2.
I wouldn't expect Elflein to make it out of Round 2 period.

I picked Bolles in the "Predict the Pick" contest, half because if it goes to a raffle, I'll have a better shot, half because I do think it is a secretly strong possibility.
