  1. I'd probably pick Bowser. I think both are in the same vein of athletes who need to be refined. Bowser imo appears closer (which makes sense since Watt only played defense 1 year). I think Bowser can also do more than Watt off the LOS as well.
  2. As much as it was kinda a bummer not to get away with a WR or 2, I didn't really think there were any receivers we could have taken that wouldn't have been pretty bad reaches. I'm glad that they stayed disciplined and stuck to the board. I mainly came in with players I didn't like that I didn't want the Ravens to draft, and the Ravens didn't draft any of them, so I'm generally pretty happy. I'd give it a B+ I think Cleveland had a pretty decent haul- not phenomenal, but decent. Garrett is going to be a beast (obviously), but I'm not sure that the developmental guys (Peppers, Njoku, Kizer) were good picks bc Idk if Hue gets to be there long enough to get them ready. Got some decent role players (Ogunjobi, Wilson) in the middle rounds. Generally a pretty future-focused draft. I'd give it a A- I'm not big on Cincy's draft. I think Ross was a huge reach at 9 and the questions about his availability are pretty well-founded. Mixon is solid, but Cincy has no OL who are worth anything. Pretty jealous they snuck off with Dielman though. I'd give it a C Pittsburgh was okay. Watt isn't someone to bet against, but his tape wasn't that special. JJSS is pretty polarizing, I think he'll be decent in a rotation, probably not a game-changer though. Sutton probably stuck in the slot competing with Golson. Conner was a reach. I'd give it a B.
  3. Definitely needed some more ST players. People don't realize the Ravens lost a lot of their best ST players- Juice, Huff and Elam (believe it or not) were two of the best ST players on the roster last year and they're gone. Clark has good field vision/tackling ability and seems like a perfect ST coverage guy. With Levine, Waller, Onwuasor, McClellan, Canady and now Clark- there's a solid group of ST players on the roster to aid with the last season's departures.
  4. He's quick enough to stay outside I think. I wouldn't rule him out of getting some time Year 1. He's definitely raw, but there's really interesting traits.
  5. A little consistency goes a long way. Flacco coming back at full strength will help. Perriman getting a full offseason will help. If Moore develops and Camp stays healthy the receiving corps will be fine. Im somewhat concerned about the OL, but Boyle will do a fine job in Juice's role- especially in the passing game.
  6. I actually think the offense will be better this year than last year.
  7. So Hyyyyyyypeeee I love it.
  8. Now I can relax lol
  9. I'm not really sure that the pick was the best value, but it's hard to find press corners and since they're so important to Pees defense, I get why they would want to reach on one a little bit. He's a super young guy though and he won't have to start right away, so the situation is pretty ideal for him.
  10. I definitely agree about needing to get a couple OL pieces- I'm really big on Lamp, Elflein, Moton, Dawkins and Bisnowaty. Any 2 of those would be phenomenal to me.
  11. My quick list of don't wants- of guys I've seen going in Round 2-3, would mainly be Cam Robinson, Tanoh Kpassagnon, Daeshon Hall, Raekwon McMillan, Jarron Jones and Vince Biegel.
  12. I expect Lamp and Cam to be 33 and 34
  13. Thats an okay pick. Not phenomenal. But okay.
  14. Cincy getting Ross is pretty ideal for us.
  15. Somewhat related question: anyone know the best way to watch the draft? I've always just stuck to ESPN, but always wondered if theres better options out there.
  16. All these rumors flying around have my heart set on Lamp now </3
  17. My point is that it doesn't succeed nearly as often as people think it does and that the guard position, like any other position, requires certain traits. It's not a position for bad tackles. Fluker was measurably better at Tackle than guard and Joeckel probably was too by virtue of setting the bar really low for himself.
  18. For sure I think its more important for guards to not get lost in space, especially if Roman's going to be getting a decent amount of say in the run game this season. At Right Tackle, Robinson would be sealing off defenders more often than not and I think he should be successful in that role. Guys like Anthony Davis and Seantreal Henderson had decent stints at RT under Roman and those are both guys with some pretty similar limitations to Robinson. When I say Robinson is a pusher, Im more referring to his bad habit of getting too high and trying to rely on his upper body strength too much- kinda like if you were to push someone into a pool. Either way, it's not easy for a player to make a transition to guard- we've all seen it attempted and failed more times than it has succeeded (such as DJ Fluker, Luke Joeckel, Ty Sambrailo among many others). Robinson also has issues with having never played any position but left tackle in his entire College/High School career- so regardless of if hes on the right side or at guard, that'll be an issue for him.
  19. Id knock him more for getting lost in space and only being a pusher in the run game. Would want to have seen him finish more/play with an edge. Taking average/subaverage tackles with bad instincts and putting them at guard is pretty much how the Chargers demolished their OL.
  20. With the 37th Pick, the Los Angeles Rams select Malik McDowell, DL, Michigan State
  21. It's mainly his lack of instincts that I think would kill him at guard. His kick-slide gets enough depth and he plays with a wide enough base that I think theres something to work with at right tackle. Either way drafting Robinson makes me a Robinson fan and it appears I might need to prepare myself for that reality.
  22. My impression is that he plays way too high up to make a difference in the run game against NFL DTs. It might be fixable but I wouldnt count on it. Im not even saying his footwork is amazing, but getting good depth on a kick step is one of the biggest things I've seen tackles struggle with and that seems to be something he did well (albeit inconsistently).
  23. If it is Robinson (which I really hope it isn't), I would want him at tackle over guard. His strengths as a player are his long arms and decent kick step. I don't think he's the kind of player who improves by being moved to guard.
  24. Regardless of if the rumor is true or not, it's pretty much always bad look to be going to hotel room parties with strangers. That alone will probably hurt his stock. Whoever it is.
  25. Philly kinda deserves it imo
