  1. I'm a Brown fan, but not sure how stable his roster spot will be. Part of me thinks he'll be active this week since he's been able to practice and Waller hasn't. He'll probably be on a pretty short leash though since he can get sent back to the practice squad easier than Waller probably.
  2. Just saw Daniel Brown got elevated to the 53 man roster. Intriguing to me. Thought Waller would have been the one activated, but they do still have a week to do that and might want more practice out of him. Not sure about what Brown offers on ST or as a blocker, but it's intriguing none the less to see him on the roster- probably a sign that Maxx won't be active this week.
  3. Have to assume Lewis will be back next week. Was active in case of emergencies, held out of game because he hadn't practiced all week.
  4. I'm assuming that Maxx's injury isn't too serious and that he'll be back from it in a couple weeks. I think that Waller being the 3rd TE is an unideal situation since we've really only used Maxx as a blocker (which he's done a great job at). Waller's value imo is still more as a WR (since he basically was a WR during most of his preseason snaps) and ST player, even if he's technically listed as a TE. If both are healthy, I think there's a place for both of them, in fact I think if Waller comes back and lights it up on ST the player most likely to slide onto the inactive list (in the event of either a Maxx recovery or Boyle activation) would be either Kamar Aiken or Chris Moore.
  5. Big fan of Waller on ST. Could see him taking over the duties that Aiken's been having on ST.
  6. I watched the Chidobe Awuzie tape from the CU-CSU game, and I really like him now. Probably not going to be a perimeter corner at the next level, but man that read-react skill set from the slot makes me want him on the Ravens- even if he's playing slot corner or safety.
  7. Maxx probably isn't headed to IR quite yet. He probably gets a couple inactive weeks since Waller is likely to take Forsett's roster spot.
  8. Elam probably gets one more chance realistically. I'm thinking it's him or Carl Davis that gets reactivated, and the DBs have definitely struggled more than the DL has thus far.
  9. Wish him the best going forward. Wouldn't be surprised to see him end up with the Bucs, Giants or another one of the teams w/ some injuries at RB.
  10. Haven't posted my predictions in whole yet, so here is where I was at after the preseason: Buffalo- W @ Cleveland- W @ Jacksonville- L Oakland- L Washington- W @NY Giants- L @NY Jets- W Pittsburgh- L Cleveland- W @ Dallas- L Cincinnati- L Miami- W @ New England- L Philadelphia- W @ Pittsburgh- L @ Cincinnati- L Projected Record: 7-9
  11. Steelers fans are fun to watch games with, they get annoyed but rarely turn violent.
  12. Dat 90 strength rating
  13. There was a entire thread of people, but to recap 1. The "anybody but Zuttah" people 2. The "anybody but Lewis" people, 3. The PFF fanboys, 4. People who don't know/forgot who Gino Gradkowski was and 5. Madden gamers
  14. Bengals kinda suck this year tho.
  15. I'd disagree. When you get a ton of new talent on a defense (Joseph, Smith, Irvin, Jones, etc.) You never know when things are just going to spontaneously "click." It's quite clear that the Raiders D took a big step forward today after a couple of them (Amerson, Smith) broke out last week. Also, keep in mind the Saints and Falcons are two good offenses and thats partially why the Raiders have been statistically struggling on D.
  16. I'm not one of those people that ever calls for players to get benched or cut or anything, but my god Shareece Wright has been exploited in pass coverage on 6 out of the 10 Touchdowns scored by the Ravens' opponents (6 out of the 8 passing touchdowns) this season. My favorite obscure fact about Shareece Wright currently is that Carson Wentz has won 2/4 Pepsi Rookie of the Week awards. The only reason it's not 4/4 is because he was on bye week one week and the other week... a rookie receiver was lined up across Shareece Wright. If Corey Coleman is healthy when the Browns play the Ravens again, he'll probably be OROY based off that one game. If you play fantasy football, the best advice you can get is to play whatever receiver lines up across from Shareece Wright, because they have been a top 10 point-gathering WR in 3 out of 4 weeks and a top 5 WR 2 out of 4 weeks.
  17. More curious about Lewis.
  18. Not really. I've seen enough Hurst games to know what happens when he gets to play. I didn't expect the game to be close, especially after the 4th quarter started, but the team buckled down and got better. They came up short, but they made it close- which deserves some credit. The Raiders aren't terrible. That team has the amount of ridiculously talented players that comes with being pathetic for a couple years.
  19. I have a higher opinion of the Ravens now than I did before the game. Wish Harbaugh had declined that unnecessary roughness penalty tho. But definitely have to be proud of how they played with Stanley and Lewis down.
  20. Let Mallett in. Flacco is gonna get hurt.
  21. Trestman be like "look im running now"
  22. Statistically, The Raiders are the worst defense in the NFL....
  23. I can definitely take your word for it. I have yet to see a game with decent enough quality to really tell who is who but i was just thinking as far as who is inactive once Dumervil is back. I guess i was right, but I cant confidently claim ZDS is better than Judon.
