  1. I want to win and send SSS out in the best way we can. I don't dislike the Bengals as much as the Steelers or Patriots, but I could never feel okay letting guys like Burfict and Pacman get a free win. I don't care if it causes the Bengals to get some super elite draft pick. I want them to lose.
  2. Torrey Smith and Victor Cruz seem like they'll definitely be cap casualties (Cobb and Maclin also possibilities). Id also think that Allen Hurns could be gotten in a trade for pretty cheap, but that's not a great contract to pick up. Hopefully that position is moreso addressed in the draft. Wallace, Perriman, Moore and Campanaro definitely isn't an ideal receiving corps, but I dont think any of the free agents are worth as much as theyll get paid.
  3. Wouldn't complain about an upgrade at center obviously. But, Zuttah isn't bad enough to make that a top need.
  4. It seems like OL having success at the combine is more consistent with them not being successful in the league. Theres definitely some exceptions like Terron Armstead. But combine performances generally seem to make bad players get drafted higher at every position.
  5. Found the pass rush on the first Steelers TD...
  6. I wish we could see Lewis at RT for a game, but I doubt he gets ready in time.
  7. He gets a 10 game suspension next season (probably) under either the PEDs or Substance Abuse policy sinces he has already served a 4 game suspension under each.
  8. Its really hard for pure guards to get round 1 grades, but theres definitely a couple above average starters on the OL imo. I could justify Ramczyk, Elflein, Feeney, Lamp (and maybe a few others) as going in round 1. The problem is the "top 10 guys" on the OL going into this season didn't pan out well (Cam Robinson and Roderick Johnson) or declared pretty early they were returning to school (Mike McGlinchey). But I still scratch my head over seeing Joshua Garnett going in the 1st last year over Cody Whitehair- so who knows.
  9. Yeah poor Broncos don't even realize that even if they win tonight, the Patriots are gonna take safeties every drive next week to ensure the Dolphins get in over them haha.
  10. Never thought I'd see Matt Moore, Matt McGloin and Tom Savage as starting QBs in the playoffs haha.
  11. I'd actually be fine with keeping him because I don't think its worth starting over when there really isnt anybody better out there.
  12. To add insult to injury, the only AFC teams that have ever eliminated the Pats in the Brady-era (Broncos 3x, Ravens 2x, Jets and Colts) are all eliminated assuming that the Chiefs win tonight.
  13. I feel good about the team at this point. Yeah injuries kinda bit them at the worst times this year, but I dont think the FAs are that significant this year. No disrespect to Williams or Wagner, but I feel decent about their potential replacements- Pierce and Lewis. Juice coming back probably depends on who the next OC is. The biggest needs are probably at OLB, WR, and CB (like always), but I don't think we need any unnecessary draft reaches or overpays. I feel better than I did 2 hours ago and I'm already excited for the draft and offseason.
  14. Offense: I was pretty happy with Flacco's play. RBs were streaky but had a pretty good showing. Receivers had drops at the worst possible times- Pitta, Aiken, Waller, Perriman. Line had some struggles, but nothing too significant that I saw. I think that the number of coverage sacks was unacceptable and that theres a legitimate problem with Marty being outsmarted by even average DCs. The fact that we saw every receiver covered downfield multiple times during this game is extremely concerning to me. The offense did what they needed to on that last drive though, so I can't fault them too much. But I will say their inability to finish in the first half was fatal. Defense: I think that the defense had some definite confidence issues. They played well in the 2nd/3rd quarters before things seemed to fall off the wheels. I definitely think that the refs didnt cut them any favors and Jimmy being out hurt them more than it initially appeared. Though I think those two factors definitely hurt the defense more than anything, I do feel like they could have taken over this game if they could have kept playing smart and disciplined towards the end of the game. This is a game the Ravens definitely should have won, but unfortunately drops and bad reffing kept the Steelers in this game. And the Ravens didn't step up when they needed to most. The Steelers are not a very good team and I definitely don't think they deserve to be in the playoffs. But unfortunately it happened.
  15. Marcus Gilbert, the RT. He was in.
  16. Refs missed a blatant hands to face call on Gilbert (to Dumervil) the play that got Steelers to the 4. Cant believe they missed that one.
  17. Receivers letting Flacco down big
  18. Marty isn't getting receivers open consistently.
  19. Shareece Wright just won 1on1 with AB. That needs talked about.
  20. The good news for today is that the Bengals have clearly given up.
  21. Denver and Houston dont matter at this point, we can't win a wildcard spot no matter what.
  22. Kaufusi and Canady have been on IR. They are not allowed to practice. Correa is on IR too now. None of them will be playing vs Cincy.
  23. Can't even blame the Bills much. The Dolphins have had 1 penalty called against them this whole game. Thats a miracle considering how much their OL has blatantly held this game.
  24. Well the wildcard isnt happening at this point.
  25. The Ravens are 8-0 when both Jimmy Smith and Ronnie Stanley play the whole game.
