The loss of Boldin was already proven last season to not make much of an impact. Losing T. Smith and Jacoby Jones were arguably more of an impact. Based on age and production etc, Torrey Smith was probably the biggest loss you could question vs. what you would have had to pay....

Givens could be a huge surprise diamond in the rough...by all accounts he had an impressive rookie showing but then was overshadowed by "marquee" moves and draft picks by the Rams. We all know what a change of scenery has done for some others that have landed with the Ravens...

I am not so sure why all have resigned themselves that the Bengals are a lock. Dalton has a proven track record of choking at end of the Season and especially in the playoffs. They could easily drop 4 or 5 games before the season is up.... Today's game is no cake walk and they have Cardinals, Broncos, Steelers (with Ben back most likely), Broncos, Bills, and Seahawks to face yet.....all of which are no easy prospects. Sure, we are off to a uncharacteristic start.....but certainly not time to write the season off or even assume we only have a shot at the Wild Card.....
