  1. It honestly was not Marty IMO. Flacco is to blame for the lack of audibles when the defense knows exactly which play we are about to run. That starts in practice. That "Joe Cool" slogan also backfires at us. I like that he stays calm in tense situations but I would rather see a QB play with more enthusiasm and determination to win. That means calling audibles and being a vocal leader.

Also, the announcers in almost every game for us have all said the same thing over and over again......."Nobody is getting open". Our receivers having a hard time getting open has also been killing this offense.

I still think that as long as Harbaugh is here this team will continue to be mediocre at best. I said back in 2012 that he took the credit from Ray Lewis. People forget that Harbaugh came the same offseason that we drafted Flacco & Ray Rice. Ray Rice who was the sole reason for us even being in the playoffs. Which I still cannot forgive Ozzie Newsome and Steve Biscotti for. I mean, these guys literally played God by choosing to not give Rice a second chance. But thats another topic. Regardless, all this team needed was a good QB and we got that with Flacco, and also got a beam of light with Ray Rice. Ray Lewis was already the vocal leader, heart & soul, and coach of this team. Harbaugh was just a guy filling in the hole of "Head Coach". Get harbaugh outta here, but do not just bring in any guy. We either need Ray Lewis as HC or an old school, hard nosed, smash mouth football kind of Head Coach. In all serious, if I were Ozzie I would get on the phone and see if Ray is interested in a coaching position.

  2. I wish I could be an adviser to Steve Biscotii/Ozzie. I swear I would get this organization back on the right track. I know a lot of you will read what I said and say "yeah, so could every other fan" with sarcasm. But I really would be able to get this team back on track. I see things that many people do not see. Swear if Ozzie/Biscotti would just give me one chance, I wouldn't even ask for pay, just want to prove to them that I can help them make the right decisions on coaches/players. Our personnel is obviously filled with guys who THINK they know what they are doing, I can instill that necessary spark needed to get this team back on track.

  3. STEVE SMITH SR! THANK YOU FOR EVRYTHING!!!💯💯. I will never forget what you laid out on the field for this team, and how you choose to finish your career as a raven. During these times where ravens fans do not have much to be proud of, you have given us a glimmer of that classic Ravens style football.

@ Evrybody else in Ravens organization besides Steve Smith, you will be hearing from me soon. But not now, because this moment/article should be used to honor the great SSS

  4. Joe Flacco does not deserve to sit on the bench. Ozzie, Biscotti, you better get every penny of that $120,000,000 your paying Flacco. If I was them I'd have Flacco returning kicks as well.

Just kidding about the kick returning part

  5. Tucker has been magnificent this entire season. Flawless to say the least. I played football, and I understand the tradition of players not caring too much about kickers. But Justin Tucker is an exception to that, this dude has earned his respect. He's earned his reputation as one of the few kickers in NFL history to be recognized as an Elite.

  6. I don't know what the hype is about Juszczyk - he made one decent run. So what? He can't block that well, and he made the Pro Bowl because there are no full backs in the league.

Also, I don't see Harbs going anywhere, and I don't see him making changes to his staff unless he's forced to. Like I've always said, I think he's been dealt a bad hand with all the bad draft picks Ozzie / DaCosta has made over the past 5-6 years. We can say they had a decent draft last year, but you should hope they would when they had like 50 picks last year.

Kyle has made the catches, and fought for the yards. In between making those plays, he also BLOCKS for our RB's. He's not the biggest guy, but he plays with the heart of a lion. At first I was not sold on Juice, but now I really like the kid. Make no mistake, he is no Vonta Leach, or Lorenzo Neal, but in a league where the FB position is becoming a thing of the past, he is a refreshing dose.

Although I would like to see Marshal Yanda or Nick Boyle at FB!

  7. After watching the replay of that Brown TD catch over and over again. The conclusion is this......Eric Weddle got straight up overpowered by Brown, he just stood him straight up to put the ball across the line. I thought that he just reached his arm out at first, but he actually had to stand up to reach his arm out. So yes, with Eric Weddle all over him, he pushed Weddle back a bit, and then reached his arm out. CJ Mosley also did not follow through with the tackle which led to our loss. I really cannot believe CJ did not follow through on that tackle, unlike Ravens players. Harbaugh has got to go, but not without a viable replacement.

  8. I've been saying for years that Harbaugh is not a good fit as HC for this team in the absence of Ray Lewis. Harbaugh would make a great special teams coach, but his stubborness is not a good fit to lead this team.

If I was Ozzie/Biscotti I would do whatever I could to get Rex Ryan in as DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR. And then see if Ray Lewis would be interested in being Head Coach Lol. I know thats a long shot, but we seriously need a hard nosed, brute style, have fun, type of Head Coach that has a eye for brute players, and will allow them to be animals. Head Coach Harbaugh is way to stubborn.

  9. I bet we play the best we've played all season in this final game. Just because our players will finally play the game just to have fun playing the game of football.

I bet the coordinators will make all the right calls they should have made the entire season.

Just because this final game will allow our coaches and players to relax and just play the game of football to their full talented extent.

  10. This is just another in a series of cultural defeats. By that, I mean that the culture of this organization is: play soft with a lead. It's been going on for years. I'm quick to blame Dean Pees, who I think is as awful a coach as there is in the NFL, but this lack of killer instinct may originate higher up.

We won the Super Bowl, barely, on the backs of Joe Flacco and Anquan Boldin and the emotion of Ray Lewis' last season. Since then, we've probably blown more leads and given up more points in the last two minutes of a half than any team in football. That's not individual players, that's a mentality. That's a culture.

Yes, we need a pass rush. And shut-down corners who can stay healthy. I'm all about #BringBackRex. Rushing 3 or 4 against 5 or 6, giving pro quarterbacks all day to survey the field and playing linebackers in space is a recipe for quick opposing scoring drives and teams prove it over and over again in this league, yet there are some coaches (Dean Pees) who simply know no other way to game plan.

    It has to end.

So Ozzie should look at his scouts and head coach, and Harbaugh should look at his coordinators, but if we're not going to put up 35 points a game, then we need to learn how to keep up the pressure when we have a lead, and we'll never get there under the current culture.

"Play Like A Raven" has come to mean "fold when it counts."

I just said the same thing to my uncle. The mentality of this team is not the same. There is a lack of determination, and a lack of wanting to put fear in opposing offenses. Ozzie needs to get Rex Ryan back in here. I don't know if that will solve the problem but it damn sure will help if we bring in a coach that knows exactly how this defense is supposed to carry themselves.

  11. “Darren Waller evoked memories of Lee Evans, and not in a good way,” wrote The Baltimore Sun’s Edward Lee.

Did this guy even see the play?  In no way, shape or form was the Waller play anything like the Evans gaff.  Lee had plenty of time to secure the ball.  Flacco's pass to Waller was perfect, but the DB got his hand in there at the same time as the ball. Just an outstanding defensive play.

Wow that's the same thing I said when he dropped the pass in the end zone. I had a deja vu of when Lee Evans dropped the TD pass years ago in the playoffs. That cost us the game
