  1. We need to draft an elite safety as well. How long do they think Webb will last back there. No offense to Webb, he's a great player, and honestly the best tackler we have on our defense. But we really need a game-changing SS/FS for years to come.
  2. I watched that AFC locker room video speech from Ray Lewis. Ray Lewis is just a true once in a lifetime character. Similar to Maximus off the movie Gladiator, played by Russell Crowe.
  3. It was actually a pretty good game. Players were amped up, but at the same time they knew it was for fun, and did not tackle players as violently as during the regular/post season. That was good to see. It showed ethics.
  4. Yeah, they could have had steelers colors on them!
  5. I kind of agree with you. Over the season I did notice things with Zuttah that were disappointing, like being injured a lot. He seems like a very good guy, but I'd rather us protect Flacco and our running game by any means necessary, even if it means having an entirely mean offensive line.
  6. Ray Lewis belongs here. Either as DC,HC, or GM
  7. Totally agree. The players he doesn't miss on we tend to groom up and watch walk away for big paydays. Be nice to keep some of that talent (looking at you Brandon Williams). Be nice for Oz to nail this draft and bring in the depth we need to improve. I'm probably one of the few guys that believe Brandon Williams is overrated. He is good, but as a lead DT he is not suitable. I'd like to see us go after an elite DT like when we drafted Ngata. That would make our line much more successful. FA cost too much, and it's hampering us.
  8. Elliot is still an highly exceptional running back
  9. Damn, I thought he retired at his own will for personal reasons. Finding out he has a rare neck condition is saddening, but he will still be successful in life as long as he keeps his head up and stays with god. Probably even being a coach for us.
  10. We do need a CLEAR franchise RB. We could have kept Rice..but that's another topic. The problem though, is our staff focusing the emphasis on Flacco, and not the entire team. They somehow think that Flacco is Brady material or something, and that if we simply put in WR's that have speed, then we will score TD's like hotcakes at Denny's. That does not work. If anything the team with the most successful offense has possession, clutch receivers. Not a bunch of receivers that have good 40 yard dash numbers. That brings me to my next point, should we draft a QB with potential to lead this team? When they paid Flacco all that money, was it center this teams success around the talent of Flacco? Or was it just to compensate him for what we believed he could do for us. I only ask that because, say for instance we draft a QB, who given the opportunity shows better instinct than Flacco. Would our staff bench Flacco, or would they start him simply because he is taking up so much cap space. If the ultimate goal is for this team to be successful, then it should not matter that the person who is making the most money is the one on the field. The main focus should be having the players on the field that put us in the best position to win, or who makes the most plays. Long story short, lets draft a backup QB, who has potential. I was just watching a tape about Brady back at Michigan and it made me think. Think how this team can get lucky and find a QB between the 4th and 6th round. A QB that can turn this franchise completely around. That may be more important right now than having us fans go through this torturous phase of waiting for Flacco to break out. He's very slow, and more energetic and competitive QB, along with a bigger more electrifying RB could be all this team needs to really be successful for years to come.
  11. As long as Webb stays. Webb is probably the best tackler we have on the defense right now.
  12. I'd rather see us go for a game changing Gronkowski type of TE.
  13. Stop focusing on whether a player is a veteran or not!! And just build up a stout team! my god. This is the problem, every offseason for the past 3 years it's been "Ravens want to add veteran WR", "Ravens want to add veteran WR". We have a veteran QB for christ sake, let him operate with a bunch of hungry young WR's that want to make a name for themselves. Honestly I think we need a game changing Gronkowski type of TE.
  14. If NFL teams think they are going to up & move to Mexico and take away USA jobs then they will have to pay a 35% tax fee
  15. The NFL doesn't really care about fans in seats - ticket sales are about 15-20% of the revenue. Having a TV deal in the biggest US TV market, now that's another story. Why do you think the Jags are moving to London? You think it's to sell tickets? It's because London would become the biggest TV market in the NFL. But nobody watches the jaguars.
  16. San Diego is beautiful. Warm weather with highways that wind through lush mountains with penthouses on them. The coastline is also incredible. Only downside is things are so expensive, and you are right by the border. I haven't been there in the longest, but last time I stayed with friends they had to pay extra to have their trash picked up. The city is still amazing I definitely say go for it.
  17. Will this organization ever make an effort to retain any of our good coaches. How do they expect the players to play consistent with the coaches they follow behind leaving like rotating doors.
  18. I'd move forward with the RB's we have, and focus this offseason on making our defense more stout and brute. Because our defense is not up to par. But, if this team has forgotten how to be successful, look at Pittsburgh and New England. Both teams have elite, bruising, down-hill style running backs. Thats the difference between us and them. Lagarette Blunt, as much as i hate him, is a very intimidating running back. And Le'veon Bell.... well I just say this, what's understood does not need to be explained.
  19. I agree with you in a way. Kennith Dixon is very good, but I feel that his size is to small to be depended on as a lead back in our division. And i just do not see productive longevity from West. We went from Jamal Lewis, to Mcghee, then to Ray Rice, to now shuffling between a variety of not so sure RB's. Like I said, Kennith Dixon is very good, but he would be much more productive as a second punch leading behind a star RB. Imagine if Dixon was backing up Ray Rice in his prime, instead of Pierce lol.
  20. Our running game is OK at best without help from our passing game. We need a game-changing TE, and a threat WR.
  21. I see they didn't put Joe Flacco's 2017 cap hit on the chart..........
  22. No wonder this team is in a hole. We're paying guys too much money, including Mike Wallace, and Wright. We are shelling out too much money in Free Agency and its hampering us. We need to focus more on building a team up, and not buying one like the Redskins. That chart above really opened my eyes up, Ozzie needs to get it together.
  23. Exactly, I hope we draft at least 4 DE's this draft. Convert a few of them into LB's/OLB's
  24. Lets not kid ourselves, we did not have a tough schedule to begin with. Besides the Dolphins, our defense really did not have to face any tough opponents besides the Patriots, and Pittsburgh (the 2nd time). This defense needs to be steadily rebuilt up to the point where opposing teams fear getting hit by us. We have a soft defensive line whether you guys want to hear it or not. B.Williams is way to bulky, Suggs is getting older, and Z.Smith does not hunt. Jernigan, Suggs, and Urban (if he can stay healthy) are the only ones i really like.
