  1. Player I'm really excited to see, Ryan Jensen. I forgot about him, I definetly want to see him step into a starting role on our O-line.
  2. This article is misleading. It's insinuating that since the team has stripped away most of the starting players we had during our 2015 season, that somehow it will equate to us having a shot at a championship this season, and that pundits are wrong for overlooking us this season.. Seriously Mink? We are overlooked right now for GOOD REASON. Nobody deserves to get credit unless credit is due. This team has been consistently going downhill since our 2012 SB season. You can rearrange, shuffle, cut & resign players all day, that does nothing but mess up a locker room. Years ago, when we cut, traded or released a player it was either because he was not valuable, or THERE WAS A CLEAR BACK UP GUY that was READY TO PERFORM. Hence, Jarret Johnson, Bart Scott, Osemele, etc. Under harbaugh, this team cuts starting players with NO CLUE of who can fill the shoes.
  3. In reference to Harbaugh talking about "players shouldn't wait until voluntary workouts to start their training." I'm thinking back on the season when Suggs came to training camp overweight, I could be wrong, but wasn't that the same season that he got injured early in the season, and missed the remainder of the season? If so, players training themselves before the voluntary workouts begin is vital, and Harbaugh makes a valid point. Learnt from Ray Lewis.
  4. A strong secondary does not increase a defenses capability to get sacks.
  5. It broke my heart to hear it
  6. My thoughts and prayers are with Todd Heap and his family right now..
  7. Main thing Ozzie & crew NEEDS to think about... who's the next best/similar guy if Davis is snagged before we pick.
  8. This team is so flaky at drafting top-notch receivers that I'm not even sure if we should use our 1st round on a WR. Also it seems a no-brainer that..if they are so poor at judging on WR talent, why not just listen to other peoples opinion on who to draft. I wouldn't be mad if we used the 1st pick on a WR, just because of the fact that we are paying Flacco a lot of money, and right now he has no real go-to guys.
  9. Our record will depend on how well both our offense communicates with each other, as well as our defense. This team has been making a lot of cuts, and signings. We just brought in a slew of free-agents. Don't expect this team to just all of sudden hit on all cylinders. We just traded away Jernigan smh, our WR group is shady until otherwise, and we have a new group of RB's. Right now, our chances of being better than last season are slim unless our defense is somehow much better than last season, and our offense is more fluent.
  10. Forgot we have Woodhead, he could be a real good addition to our mix of RB's. He's a downhill style runner, and a great compliment to West & Dixon (once Dixon is eligible to return). Just praying they all stay healthy come regular season. Dang pre-season smh.
  11. So glad Webb is back in the building
  12. Me reacting to trade: I was blown too!! Like I would have dang sure traded away B.Williams before giving away Timmy. On a serious note, I think this org has made yet another bone-headed mistake in signing Brandon Williams to a huge contract and trading away Jernigan SMH. As soon as a slot opens up for Ravens GM, I'm applying!
  13. B. Williams is not worth a star player contract IMO. I'd bite the bullet and look for a REAL franchise DT like Haloti Ngata. When we first drafted Haloti he instantly became one of the best DT's in the league. Brandon Williams is too slow and bulky.
  14. I keep checking into BR.com to see what players were let go or picked up. But every time i check in it's just more speculation and rumors. When do the real moves start happening? Lol
  15. Honestly, I would consult Ray Lewis about what moves this team should make and which FA's if any he thinks would be the right player to give this team a turn around.
  16. 33 years old though... And he's always on the NFL talk show, I do not want to judge a book by it's cover, because I haven't seen much of his tape from New York. But I do not think he's what we need.
  17. Let's gen honest. Pitta had all those receptions because our pass offense was garbage outside of SSS. I don't hardly remember any of our other WR's
  18. The only problem with releasing pitta is that we do not have a proven TE to step into his absence. That's the strategy that has been destroying this team. They keep releasing starting players without having a sure go to guy. They just assume that the next guy will perform just as good or better without having seen any real performance from them.
  19. When a team is consitently lacking drafted playmakers, you don't blame the players, blame the coaches/management staff.
  20. Great, now we have to keep our fingers crossed. I could be judging to early, but this 1st round pick is not the playmaker I predicted.
  21. Garcon is a pure athlete, one of the most humble nfl players you'll ever meet, and would be a great fit in Baltimore with Flacco. I just hope that he's not too expensive.
  22. Am I the only one who thinks this guy is overrated?
  23. I know some of you will discredit this statement, but in Madden, my team (Ravens) were struggling in pass protection as well as not being stout against the run. So like a surgeon, I dissected my defensive secondary, only keeping the ones who really played with heart. And I spent an entire offseason upgrading my secondary. First I snagged a top notch SS, who had just been released by the team which drafted him. He was only 2 years into his career so it was a must for me to grab him at that young age, knowing he would have many years of production ahead of him. Before that I traded away some of our high price players that I felt were not worth the money. I traded them for a few 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks. One player I traded away for both a 3rd & 4th round pick. Then during the draft, I drafted CB's and Safeties all throughout rounds 1-4. My secondary was so good the following season that my defense went from one of the worst pass defenses to being the #1. I know that some people will discredit this because it's only a game, but to me it is a simulation of real life strategies on how to build up a successful team. The following season I drafted a few offensive linemen, all over the height of 6''4 and the rest DE's to make sure I made my defense stout against the run. DE's i drafted who had good speed and acceleration, were immediately converted into OLB's. Now my OLB's shed blocks like pro's and stuff RB's on most running plays unless someone misses a tackle.
