We need to beef up our D-line, thats honestly my main concern. I'd much rather sit through Flacco having to pass to our current receivers, than being forced to watch our defense get RAN OVER.

It was great watching the kid that announced our pick. The crowd was enthusiastic and showed amazing love. It is so hilarious how the crowd bo's Goodell every time he takes the stand lol. That should have been sent the NFL a message. Just shows they could care less if the fans like goodell or not.

I agree, we could have one of the best secondaries (on paper). But without a capable D-line our secondary will still get chewed up. Now they have to pick trough the later rounds to find a sure pass rusher, game changing type of DE

Steve Smith also said Cooper Kupp is the best WR in the draft. Hes media now. As much as i love him, his opinions are just opinions. And highlights tapes arent a great way to get an opinion on a prospect.... its literally a compilation of their best plays. Gotta evaluate the bad too. That is true

I'm scratching my head about this pick, but I'm hoping it pans out extremely well. I thought our biggest issue was a lack of talent on D-line. Last season our d-line was about as non-factor as it's ever been in our team history.

Relax, we can still find some pass rushing, edge setting DE's in the following rounds

Glad to have Webb back. And anyone who thinks that Webb will be a backup guy is out of their mind. Still the best defender we have on defense outside of jimmy smith

There's no way in the world anyone can predict who we pick after round 1. Even mike mayock gets our 1st round picks wrong. The only one he gets right are the first handful of picks, but after round 10 it's pretty much up in the air. I'm just going to cook some food and see who we pick tomorrow lol

You guys that want us to spend our 1st round pick on a WR aren't thinking it through IMO. I know it seems like an obcfix to our problem on offense, but it would be like putting huge rims on a car that's a lemon. I hope we go either DL/OL/LB or TE in th first round. Honestly drafting a QB in the later rounds would be smart too. Because we need to think future QB's after flacco

If Flacco is really worth $100,000,000, then we shouldn't need spend a 1st round pick on WR. The QB should be able to manipulate the receivers that he has. Just the fact that we are talking about going WR 1st round shows that there is desperation for a spark on offense. If anything I say go TE.

Sometimes I wish flacco would march upstairs to the front office. At least it would show that he truly cares about this teams success while he dons the uniform.

As much as I was against it, I really think we should go WR 1st round. I know we can definitely get good defensive talent in the following rounds, our scout team/front office just needs to make the right picks this time.
