JamesA119 Graham is not worth the contract he is getting anyway. he was a 3rd corner, not irreplaceable. You can't pay everybody. We also have a GM named Newsome. Hes got this.
37.25m for 5yrs. 15m guaranteed
Jets did pretty decent. Thought they'd go full Jeff Ireland on Decker.
Me too. Smart move by the Jets for once.
Cross Eric Decker off the list. His with the Jets
I hope he wasn't on our list to begin with. The Jets probably paid him as a #1 out of desperation
Not sure if i am the only one who goes to this site for a few laughs but if you really didn't know where i got it.
going to be honest here..he wasn't a big requirement.
He only won a couple games for us but i guess that means nothing.
Our offseason gets better and better. I honestly thought he was gone. Oz and Pat strike again.
Woohoo! It's amusing to watch SC because they just claimed Jacoby is still out there.
Now they won't mention him because he is a raven. The hate will continue!
According to reports, Decker and the NY Jets are closing in on a deal...
Just what i need, more Jets TV coverage!
Tate being off the market has to make Edelman more appealing to Ravens. If he doesn't return to Pats, Balt, and Jets make most sense to me.
I'd take Edelman in a heartbeat.
Steve Smith before Edelman
Stupid Colts go home.
How can they still afford to keep paying people? Overpaying McAfee, overpaying Jackson, Big money for Davis, Arthur Jones possibly Decker, now this? You gotta be kidding me
YES! the ravens are still in for ALEX MACK!
On Alex Mack? Yes. Ravens, too. RT @Steve_Cardenas: @RapSheet Are the Colts one of those teams?
With Monroe's low cap #'s the next few years, it could be doable. If we do that, Jacoby and Daryl are definitely out of the question though. Would hate to see them leave. Then again, they are already unlikely to return as it is so guess it doesn't matter. I'd pull the trigger.
that why they said the ravens make the most sense for him. and we do play carolina next year too. and i think it would be fun to watch steve smith and t sizzle jaw in practice. plus Bucs QB situation is up in the air and oakland is horrible so the ravens it is.
Yep. It makes too much sense for him not to come here.
Buccaneers announce visits for Anthony Collins, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Dane Fletcher, Ted Ginn and Charles Tillman
Steve Smith - WR - Panthers
The Charlotte Observer reports Oakland and Tampa Bay will be potential landing spots if/when Steve Smith is released, in addition to Baltimore.
We'd have to imagine Baltimore would be Smith's preference, though joining a veteran-laden Bucs squad that gets two shots a year at Carolina would likely have some appeal. The Raiders have no veteran talent at receiver, but would almost certainly have to overpay to lure Smith west. It wouldn't be an ideal setup for either side.
Steve Smith is almost 35. I'd assume he wants a championship, not money. Which is probably why he has interest here. The raiders certainly can't provide that. and getting back at the panthers by joining the bucs probably isn't in his mind either. what hard feelings does he have against them? Its not like the Welker situation last year.
I can really see this Steve Smith happening. The mutual interest between them is great to hear. I would still draft a Lee or a Beckham to be an understudy to Smith though. Any receiver can learn a lot from him.
stone4 If they thought he was good enough to play, they would've put him in instead of making Elam play out of position but they didn't so i don't expect their opinion to change on him now. Oh and Clemons was rated as one of the best cover safeties in the league last year so he is at least better than average.
"League sources have told the Shutdown Corner that GM Ozzie Newsome has set his sights on Smith. Although the Ravens don't appear to be interested in making a trade with the Panthers to guarantee getting him (and taking on that salary), they certainly would try to move quickly to add him to the roster and give the Ravens another weapon in a passing attack that hit bottom a few times last season."
@stone4 Thomas DeCoud and Chris Clemons are options.
Signing Revis would take almost all our cap. instead of doing something stupid, we could get a FS and a C and still have room left. no time for luxury signings. our CB core is fine. at least byrd is gone so that talk can stop.
Pro Bowler Thomas DeCoud now available. He may have had a terrible year last year but theres always a chance he could get back to his old form. Great locker room guy from what i've heard. just throwing out another safety in what is a thin market.
Bengals released their starting Center Kyle Cook. I think we should sign him instead of Mack. He's 30 years old, 6'3 and 310 pounds. Bengals had a good line last year and when we played them didn't seem to me that he was a liability at all. Seems like a quality signing Ozzie will do and it will give us more time to figure out the future for our center position.
Haven't heard too many good things about him on Bengals forums. Most seemed to want him cut.
Tony Gonzalez got released. Seems like a nice safety blanket to add alongside Pitta.
LOL hes working for CBS next year dude.
Our offseason so far has been amazing! probably the best we've had. Keep it going guys.
Watching NFL Network, says Steve Smith won't be released today. We'll have to wait and see.

Ozzie would be holding the Texans selection if that were the case.
