With Monroe's low cap #'s the next few years, it could be doable. If we do that, Jacoby and Daryl are definitely out of the question though. Would hate to see them leave. Then again, they are already unlikely to return as it is so guess it doesn't matter. I'd pull the trigger.

Steve Smith is almost 35. I'd assume he wants a championship, not money. Which is probably why he has interest here. The raiders certainly can't provide that. and getting back at the panthers by joining the bucs probably isn't in his mind either. what hard feelings does he have against them? Its not like the Welker situation last year.

I can really see this Steve Smith happening. The mutual interest between them is great to hear. I would still draft a Lee or a Beckham to be an understudy to Smith though. Any receiver can learn a lot from him.

stone4 If they thought he was good enough to play, they would've put him in instead of making Elam play out of position but they didn't so i don't expect their opinion to change on him now. Oh and Clemons was rated as one of the best cover safeties in the league last year so he is at least better than average.

Signing Revis would take almost all our cap. instead of doing something stupid, we could get a FS and a C and still have room left. no time for luxury signings. our CB core is fine. at least byrd is gone so that talk can stop.

Pro Bowler Thomas DeCoud now available. He may have had a terrible year last year but theres always a chance he could get back to his old form. Great locker room guy from what i've heard. just throwing out another safety in what is a thin market.

Haven't heard too many good things about him on Bengals forums. Most seemed to want him cut.
