Watchmen was god awful.. Maybe the worst movie I have ever seen in theatres...

I can understand if it wasn't your cup of tea, but "god awful"? Nah...
Jon is nothing but a meanie.

You like gangster movies though, right?
I remember Watchmen. I wasn't a fan
I think Jon might have been right...

I hated Captain America. Matter of fact I hate all comic books movies. Besides the Dark Knight of course, and that's only because of Heath Ledger
Even Watchmen?
Finally watched First Class. Easily the best movie in the X-Men franchise.
My favorite part, IDK why, is the part where Bill Duke's character goes nuts after Jesse Ventura's dies. I think the movie would have been even better if he'd stayed alive.
Couldn't agree more. His little monologue at night was my favorite part of the movie.
If only Ward had been a bit slower...
I finally watched Cap today. It wasn't bad, but I can't help but think how much better it would have been had it been rated R.
Sounds consistent with previous Transformers movies.
It looks like they bonded the luchador mask with the venom injectors.
Anyone watching the new Mortal Kombat series on youtube?
It looks pretty good.
I have yet to watch a single episode of the MK series but I will at some point.
Beyond his work in the ring, I'll never forget Macho Man providing the voice for Rasslor in the short cartoon Dial M For Monkey.
R.I.P. Randy Savage
Watched Fast Five last night. It was better than expected and I can't wait for the next one.
Anyone planning to see Fast 5?
I am. As much as I like the franchise though, I'm hoping this is the last movie.
Haven't watched a WM in years, but Rock/Cena very well might end that.
I feel the same way.
I wonder how many matches Rock will work between now and WM.
People have speculated that Bane and Catwoman to be the ones to get the cut in the movie. Though the casting isn't official yet, almost everybody believes that they will be played by Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway.
I'm aware of that. I was talking about the reboot.
According to Moviefone, a Batman reboot is planned after The Dark Knight Rises is released in 2012. Christopher Nolan is slated to stay on with his wife as producers of the reboot, and the franchise is slated to go off in a different direction. There is a good chance that this new vision of Batman won't be another origin story, and that he'll fit in with the proposed Justice League film that could possibly be released as early as 2013. I want a live-action Batman Beyond film!!!
Very interesting.
In addition to fitting in with the Justice League, I'm sure the reboot will probably have more of Batman's more "unrealistic" villains like Mr.Freeze, Poison Ivy, Clayface and Solomon Grundy.
A live-action Batman Beyond movie would be awesome, if done right. With the futuristic setting and gadgets Terry relies on, I don't know if I'd trust a director to maintain the Batman feel and not have the movie turn out like so many generic action flicks.
watching goodfellas right now on AMC, so classic
Definitely. I could watch that movie everyday and not get tired of it.
Anyone excited for X-Men: First Class?
As much as I like the entire franchise, I just can't excited for First Class. I'll probably end up watching it but I don't think it'll be good.
Edit: Why the hell do they always hire Michelle Rodriguez for these movies? she must be the most typecast actor in the world.
Cracked.com had a hilarious "piece" titled "The Michelle Rodriguez Method of Acting" were they had shots of her in most of her roles; she wears a tank top in almost every movie and is tough and gritty.
If you like the barbie doll look I guess. I'm more of a Melina fan. Layla too.
I'd rank them both over Kelly Kelly as well.
-Pulp Fiction
-No County for Old Men
Pulp Fiction is a great movie.
I watched the majority of No Country for Old Men for the first time over the weekend and while the ending left me puzzled, the story really sucked me in.
I love the Rocky movies.
Which one is your favorite?
Shelton was in 5 of those matches and he was always counted upon to deliver at least two crazy spots during the match. Kofi then assumed the mantle from him, and they only crossed paths in ONE MiTB match, Shelton's last before leaving WWE.
And yes, Kofi's still in WWE; he's the current Intercontinental Champion, although he's been booked as an afterthought thus far at the expense of getting Alberto Del Rio over.
Good to know. Thanks for the info Franny.
