I disagree. The failures of past WRs weren't strictly an evaluation problem. QB play, scheme and veterans WR being consistently brought in have hindered the progress of young WRs. I don't see how you let past failures dictate what you do in the present. Torrey has developed (maybe not to the degree some would like but he's still a solid WR nonetheless) and the team got more production from a UDFA WR in their history. I highly doubt the team makes a play for Nicks. They've never thrown money at FA WRs and even coming off a down year, he could easily get over-paid. Again, I think the team can find solid centers and certainly a RT in FA or later in the draft. Same applies to FS. Improving the o-line overall is priority but the offense has lacked multiple pass-catching weapons for too long. That needs to change.
