  1. True, true. I'm pretty sure I had more posts than you at one point as well.
  2. Agreed. There was time I thought I could unseat him. That went out the window quickly... .
  3. He might have gotten his hands on some silverware while at Arsenal had he stayed healthy or stepped up when the team truly needed him save for one year. As for "Player of the Year", Bale deserves it much more. Van Persie went some 2 months without scoring while Bale been consistently great. Very interesting. Whatever happens, I know Koscielny will barrel into RVP down at some point.
  4. I know you'll understand my reasoning for the neg, arnie. Great strike nonetheless. Looking forward to Sunday. I'd be ecstatic for a draw (sad I can even write that).
  5. Not really. Unless Wales is playing a big game, I just don't have the zeal to watch a game. I don't think I could follow a fouth sport with American football, football/soccer as a whole and the NBA taking up my attention year-round.
  6. Shameful from Aguero. Didn't know he had that in him. Collina was awesome.
  7. Agreed. I'll be mildly surprised if we don't get a Madrid-Bayern final as well. On another note, hoping Arsenal handle business tomorrow and move into 4th.
  8. Watched Battle Royale for the first time earlier tonight. Freaking awesome movie. Can't wait get it on DVD. Once I finish the book I'm reading, I'll definitely check out the novel too.
  9. Adkins is a damn good martial artist. Interesting. I'll try and check them out this weekend.
  10. Thanks for the recommendation. I actually really liked the original movie and I'll definitely look to check this out along with Regeneration.
  11. Ginn is a FA and the 9ers don't appear to want him back. Jenkins has yet to prove he can effectively stretch the field at the NFL level.
  12. Fully agreed. I messed up the syntax a little in my post but this was my point.
  13. He made some great contested catches during the season and even more so in the play-offs, but let's not pretend a good number of those grabs weren't just as much the result of pin-point accuracy. Let's also not forget that there were many occasions when his lack of separation hurt the offense.
  14. I never claimed they were catches no other WR could make but they are examples of him making plays, something folks like to pretend he's never done. He's not the next Q. But he's got the talent to be a solid WR if given a shot. And at this stage in theirs careers, I can't imagine he'd struggle getting open more than Boldin.
  15. No, you couldn't. I'm guessing you didn't see either of the catches or remember any of his other grab during the season either. Like so many others, you simply wrote him after his drops against the Colts.
  16. Again, without video, moot argument. But you're seriously underestimating the difficulty required to reel in those passes against the Colts. I only remember one being truly catchable. I'm guessing you missed the nice catches he had against the Browns and Raiders and his five other catches during the season.
  17. Fair enough. We can agree there. I heard the same from Nantz but I remember Q being singled far more often. It only stands to reason that a player with Torrey's speed would command more attention when he's running streaks and deep posts. It's March. I highly doubt the organization is going into next season with the WR corps as it looks now. There's FA and the draft to add talent. Again, cliched B.S. There are dozens of instances every season where passes sail and though a WR/TE can touch it, he had no shot of touching it. Doss only had a good of catching one of those passes in my opinion, but without video, this is moot argument. Fair enough. Just remember, it's March and the Ravens rarely make big moves in free agency. So you might be singing the same tune for a while.
  18. What road is that? And what exactly have you seen so far to make that conclusion? He's made seven catches, has dropped three passes (two of which would have been ridiculous catches had he made them) and had several punt returns. Again, tiny sample size.
  19. That's cliched B.S. A ball can just within reach but not truly catchable. And even if you make the catch, there may not be enough room to come down in bounds. It's March!!
  20. First Megatron only makes catch because of his athleticism and now this? What are you watching? Julio is a top-five WR talent and far more than a system player.
  21. You're comparing apples to oranges bringing up Boller. Doss' rookie year was essentially a wash. He was targeted at least 21 times in all games last year and played 200 (I don't know the exact number) offensive snaps. If you're willing to turn the page on a player ever contributing based on that small a sample size, so be it. I don't think the organization is.
  22. How foolish of me to think otherwise.
  23. What were you watching? Teams left Q singled up. It was Torrey commanding multiple attention. It happened more than once but I clearly remember multiple DBs following Torrey on a drag route on a key third down in the Super Bowl, freeing up Q for a long catch and run.
  24. A bad game. He wasn't able to reel in passes. At least two of them were really high and it would have been impossible for him to get both his feet down on the one in the back of the end zone. If you gave on every young player that had a bad game, you'd never be able to build a team.
