  1. Sorry for the hold-up guys. Been a major transitional period for me and I was too tired to log on when I had the chance last night.
  2. What's your over/under for them in terms of Ws?
  3. Eto'o was one another level in his prime. From Malaga to Barca, just ridiculous. At this point Balotelli and Mata are probably my favorite players. .
  4. Why the hate?
  5. It was Nigeria. Spain had spurts of amazing play but they were more impressive against Uruguay. There likely won't be many current U-20 players in Brazil next summer. If they're that good, they're usually playing for the U-21s or already on the senior squad at this point.
  6. It sucks because Balotelli is one of my favorite players. I wouldn't have cared much if Italy had been handled, I just wanted to see him tussle with the likes of Ramos, Pique, Busquets and Martinez. Fully agreed on Spain. At their best, they're easily phenomenal. They've got attacking talent like Mata, Torres, Cazorla and Silva coming off the bench. Crazy depth.
  7. The pick will be up in the next 20 minutes.
  8. Agreed. Sucks that Balotelli's going to miss the game. Italy dosn't seem to have attacking options that could fully deal with Ramos and Ramos. Brazil should beat Uruguay comfortably.
  9. Ugly... Tahiti wouldn't have stood a chance against Spain's U-21 squad.
  10. I'm guessing at least 6-0, with Mata bagging one. Nigeria/Uruguay could be very interesting.
  11. If they were playing each other, England. Wales has a few quality players (including one world-class gem in Bale) but they're a ways off England in terms of overall ability, which is telling.
  12. Sweet free-kick by Suarez.
  13. Neither of those facts are surprising at all. The most well-rounded teams are from those continents and the US can't play with the big boys.
  14. It's likely between Brazil, Spain and Italy but I'd love to see Nigeria or Japan take it.
  15. Anyone going to follow the Confederations Cup?
  16. Like arnie said, countries like Spain and Germany have simply done a better job at developing their players from the youth for over a decade now. Still, it's not as if England completely lacks play-makers. Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Daniel Sturridge, Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Aaron Lennon, Ashley Young and others can all create relatively well but injuries and inconsistency have all prevented them reaching the heights of their Spanish and German counterparts to this point. Th national team's mind-numbing style of play doesn't do them any favors either.
  17. Really underrated movie. Another great performance by Mark Strong as well.
  18. I didn't find it all that confusing and that's even with a bunch of folks in the room talking at random moments. Sorry, I don't do rankings.
  19. I loved Cloud Atlas. Hugo Weaving was awesome as always and I loved Doona Bae.
  20. Same. I'll never put them above my Gunners but I really hope they stay up.
  21. That would be awesome. Unless the Blues replace Moyes with a quality manager, I wouldn't be surprised if they suffered a fall like you're predicting. Anyone one here follow the npower Championship?
  22. So, for the non-United fans here, how many seasons do you figure Moyes lasts? He's always been a solid manager but the sheer amount of scrutiny he'll face next year will be unprecedented.
  23. Even though we clashed a few times, I grew to like Wardy as well.
