Well I made gains with the new cams. I picked up about 6 ft/lbs of torque in the mid-high range and about 3 hp up top. the good thing is I removed the hideous drop off in torque in the low-mid range and picked up 20+ ft/lbs in that area. I pick up the car tomorrow! Can't wait!
It is very satisfying scream-whispering "Kill the Steelers" when you're watching this whilst sitting next to a Steeler fan.
When they did the cameo Steeler appearances you could hear people displeased with seeing Hines Ward. It was kinda funny.
Although if I were a Steelers fan that would be an awesome moment, but I digress.
I was one of the people making sounds of displeasure lol.
I saw TDKR and I'll share my post along with everyone else. I loved the movie. I felt like it was on par with the previous 2 Batman films with the edge going to The Dark Knight. Tom Hardy played Bane very well. I felt that the movie ended the series very well.
Doing some off-roading with it this year?
hmm...what kind of gains are you expecting? I'm assuming this is the V6?
This is the V6 however, it's a 2004 3.0L Taurus V6 instead of the 2.5L V6. My engine is a hybrid engine with a 3.0 short block, 2.5L heads and SVT cams (well they were SVT cams) with a Max extrude honed honed SVT intake. The cams are a complete reprofile so I have no idea on what the results should be. Should be interesting after retune. I'm hoping for at least 10hp/10 tq. We'll see, I'll keep you posted.
After this I am DONE! lol Can't believe I've had this car for 13 years and with 5 miles on the odometer lol
for?
If I told you, you would be like, "oh". Let me show you instead.

Finally my cams are on the way in.
Wreck It Ralph looks to be funny. As someone that grew up playing most of these games I'm going to watch it.
Has anyone seen the previews for the upcoming Dredd movie? Looks to be way better than the Stallone Judge Dredd movie.
Snow White and the Huntsman: Anyone else think the Evil witch (Charlize Theron) IS in fact the fairest of them all? lol
Finally saw 21 Jump Street. Omg was that movie hilarious! So much hilarity on so many levels. Loved it!
"Chronicle" was pretty good... wasn't so sure going into it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Yes it was.
Saw John Carter. It was good, albeit predictable, except for the very end. But what do you expect from a Disney flim? At least it had plenty of action and gore!
Not gonna roam through the mess. How was Chronicle?
I saw Chronicle, it was actually really good. I really enjoyed it. Had a great story with a great finish. It was nice seeing these characters develop throughout the movie. If its anything worth to you it got an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. That's saying a lot there.
Much better than Ghostrider lol.
My car is getting it's trans worked on as well as getting custom grind cams. And a fresh retune from a real tuner, one that tunes cars in the 6+ figures.
Edit: And most importantly the AC is getting fixed! lol
I really enjoyed MI4... the plot wasn't riveting, and it was a BMW commercial at times, but I still liked it plenty. See Holmes first though.
Thanks! I do plan on seeing Holmes first that's for sure.
Cool good to know. I've heard it's pretty much on par with the first. That's what you want out of a sequel, be at least as good or better than the first.
I wonder how Mission BMW err I mean Impossible 4 is...
To thread bump I own a 1999 Mercury Cougar. I've had this car since I bought it brand new back in Jan of '99. Most people wouldn't thing twice about it, except it looks nothing like it did when I bought it.
More than likely those who have seen it don't know what it is. ![]()
With the engine being replaced with a Taurus 3L and tuned, the car is brought back to today's power standards.
Although I do see myself getting the new 5.0L Mustang in the future. I may wait to see what Ford does with it in the years to come.

I finally saw Expendables 2. This movie was awesome! And comical!
