So ... is the Steelers defense really this bad they are getting gashed early and often. Offense isn't so impressive either with Sammy Coates dropping passes.

I think the O line will be fine remember its just the 1st game and a lot of these guys didn't play many snaps in the preseason there is still a lot of rust to be worked off. They will polish up nicely. I wouldn't blame much of the offense struggles purely on the offense or Trestman alone, Look at the whole picture when considering we were playing a Rex Ryan team that prides itself on using elaborate blitz packages and making teams 1 dimensional by stopping the run. If anything I think our guys did one hell of a job getting the yards when they were there. Also consider that Joe as shaky as many thought he looked actually did one thing very positive he protected the ball, Joe had no INTS and no fumbles. Just that miscue of the timing of the snap that was fumbled but that wont happen all the time so that can be tossed. Joe really did show under great pressure from a blitz happy defense that he was there to compete and made sure he protected the ball. That goes along way for this offense!

I was very impressed with Forsett and West.... More so I think with West because of the elusiveness he shows combined with the power to just run people over and through arms tackles that bring down most RB's these days. I like Joe spreading thew ball around to 10 different receivers as it seemed he was kinda feeling out guys. I think much of the rust we had on offense and the lil rust we had on defense will work its way off as we continue to practice and prepare and play each week. I take for granted sometimes the winning ways that we have had and automatically assume that we will be good and better than most and forget that other franchises do improve and will put up a tough test for our Ravens. I am proud of the fact that our Ravens fought hard the defense was outstanding the only thing I hope they add is some turnovers, but I am sure they will start to come as the pass rush gets more consistent. I am also very proud that the offense managed to kill the clock at the end instead of a typical 3 and out allowing the other team to have a chance to drive and win the game.

gotta fix Flacco ... and must get offense rolling for at least 45 minutes not just 15-30 minutes. Defense was good but need the secondary to get on the hips of receivers and get INTs and knock down passes. I feel good that we contained McCoy and Taylor that will help our defense stay confident as most QBs arent as mobile as Taylor and McCoy is a shifty lil bugger

now the defense will go into bend dont break will allow them to march the length of the field in 5 minutes and score a TD to lose us yet another game just like last year

how does Flacco take a sack there really? I think the experts are right ... superbowl run was a fluke

Can these guys play any worse? All off season we were hearing that we needed to get more turnovers..... well thats not happening interceptions wont happen when your DB's are way off the receivers. Offense good lord will Baltimore ever get a decent offense? We are looking like the Cam Cameron days again simply horrible. horrible play calls throwing 20 yards when you need 3 throwing passes behind the line of scrimmage when the defense is crowding the line of scrimmage ...

Secondary I think we should almost wipe clean.. Keep Will Hill and Elam to give him one last shot since this was gonna be his year before he got injured for the season. The rest we need to to look at cuz none of them are worth anything on the field right now Jimmy Smith is not good Webby his body just let him down so much that he isnt the same player, he has the heart of an athlete in an old mans body.

OK so my thoughts Aiken should be on the WR corp next season he reminds me a lot of Q. Butler i wanna see more from but he did show some fire at times in camp and preseason and had a lot of praise. We should have Campanaro back and ready same with Perriman so we can see what this dude can do. Then the thing will be is Sr coming back if he does then yes he is in.. Which means Marlon sorry you will have to go.

Again , Tuck is slipping especially at home he is missing more so yeah not deserving top tier money which is my argument. not whether he is most accurate. He also cant kick beyond 50 which is a needed thing in todays NFL. Not deserving of top tier money. Tucker is 28-35 in field goals 80% thats not top tier money.

UM NO , Just NO!! Flacco is far from perfect or great but is far and away better than Clausen or any of the other flunkies on the team. The only way Flacco doesnt is if he isnt ready to go on the field. But there is a possibility that Flacco on one leg is better than Schaub Clausen Mallett

Did the Ravens ever give tucker a contract? if not i hope they dont over spend on a guy that cant hit 50+ yarders i know he is pretty clutch inside 50 but once its a 50+ yarder he is lousy and not worth top money especially if our offense cant get him close.

I am surprised that Pees has lasted this long this year again must be that Harbaugh being the nice guy and doesnt want to do the dirt .... Someone needs to step up and get rid of this guy our defense has steadily gotten worse with this guy and more and more defensive players are getting injured. maybe its do to the way we are setting the players up for failure in this scheme. FIRE DEAN PEES!!!

so Jimmy Smith debate is over we over paid for a really not good corner who thinks he is a top tier CB who is also injured an awful lot.

i might add that maybe position coaches need to be looked at cuz they are not teaching the correct technique.

Not just this season but for the last couple of seasons the Secondary has sucked... it has gotten worse since Dean Pees took over as DC

Here we go again... i guess facts dont stand in everyones way... Brian Billick didnt start coaching for the Ravens Until January of 1999 so yeah he didnt coach those 3 years prior.....

Maybe we can give the Ravens to LA?
