  1. There's a 30 year old, fresh legged running back out there, who is 10 times better than any one the Ravens currently have or will get. However, is now black balled by the newly, squeaky clean Ravens, who clearly, obviously care more about their newly found PC reputation than they do about winning. Check out their pathetic record since he left.

This is ridiculous man, just creating more holes. I understand that a lot of teams don't even use full backs but for goodness sakes, can we retain at least 1 talented player we've developed instead of them leaving once they finally get good and move on to dominate for another team. FO needs to do something about Flacco's numbers, he's paid entirely too much for the numbers he's producing. Don't get me wrong I DO like Flacco but for heavens sake we are bleeding out every free agency.

i mean do you really want to pay juice more than 5 mill a year for 4 years - half of the contract was guaranteed as well

Of course not but this team was not that good last year and on paper looking worse for next year. Go FLACCO!!!

Yes, "Go FLACCO!!!" To another team!

rapoport suggested on nfl network that he wouldnt be surprised if doom comes back to the ravens

These are the days when none of what these guys say should be taken seriously... they share/repost/post EVERYTHING they hear, regardless of how trustworthy the source is... For example, just the last 24 hours, Juszczyk was reported to "likely sign with the browns", "almost surely" go to Buffalo - then turns out he'll sign with the 49ers...

Also, a "rumour" that the Ravens have any kind of realistic chance to land Jefferson somehow got loose - and just look at the angry Ravens-fans who took it seriously come here ranting when he signs with the Browns who won't even have to break a sweat outbidding us big time...

Maybe, just maybe, Jefferson doesn't want to play in that craphole called Cleveland.

No-brainer, but it still hurts. Here's hoping the Lions have a crappy year.

Don't worry. They always have a crappy year.

They haven't been worse than 7-9 since 2012, so this isn't really true.

Two playoff appearances during that time as well.

Only NFC team to have NEVER appeared in the Super Bowl. Pathetic Joe has three more playoff victories in his nine year career than the Lions do in their ENTIRE history! That's from 1930! That's almost NINETY years! That's PRETTY crappy.

  5. My daughter mentioned to me that Flacco looks a bit like a guitar player from a group, Foster the People. I'm like, why does a socialist funding group need a guitar player? She said, "No, it's a band from several years ago." So I go to YouTube. Sure enough, there's Joe playin' bass. I guess if he wasn't collecting a cool $22mil a year from the Ravens, he could stick to music full time. He's probably better at that.

Depressing part is that Luke Jones' point when he says: "That’s why a deal may not make sense for either side in the end. Even when they both want it.” actually makes A LOT of sense. We have just TOO.MANY.NEEDS literally all over the roster.

Williams is one of my favorite players and it breaks my heart that I actually have to hope that we won't resign him because we have other gaping holes to fill. And the fact that we are in the position where we have so vast list of needs and thus can't probably resign Williams is the direct failure of the FO over the several past seasons. P A T H E T I C

ive been saying the same for years... I don't get how the NFL and media thinks OZZ is the DRAFT GOD.. hes horrible.. our team is PATHETIC because of it hes got more misses than hits in the last 5 drafts.. say what you wanna say but the problem is OBVIOUS..

both of you guys got it. and Harbaugh tops it all of with the most embarrassing 16 game coaching performance in sports history. The AFC North is a train wreck for once, and we still can't make the playoffs. But hey here's a good idea......Let's bring EVERYBODY back and try again. What a joke and a shame for the fans and players

Looks like Quinn and Ryan took a page out of the Self Righteous John/ Pathetic Joe playbook, making boneheaded calls, followed by blockheaded execution, to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the SB.

    "Make our scouts great again"

after having one of the best drafts in Ravens history last year can you elaborate on that?

What? Can't decide anything about a draft class till at least three years. Stanley looks like a winner. Lewis, Judon, Dixon and Young have potential. The rest look like stiffs, especially RD 2 & 3. Five out of 11 is not that impressive, but give it time.

  8. joe is the problem here IMO, bad mechanics, NO type of leadership, have you guys ever seen the "many faces of so & so" pics? thats joe right there, always the same stupid look on his face no matter whats going on, he doesnt audible out of bad playcalls (based on what defense is doing), and can barely read a defense... but hey... at least we arent browns fans, right?

Pathetic Joe is laughing all the way to the bank. Sometimes he and Self Righteous John share a limo to get there, and reminisce about another year full of bonehead calls and blockhead plays.

Are you a Ravens fan or Flacco's groupie? Flacco has not lived up to his contract. He is in the top 5 for salary and bottom 10 in productivity. That's a huge disparity. I clearly understand any fan's frustration. It's not the job of the fan to provide Ozzie with alternatives to an underachieving QB.

So, in other words, you just want to complain.  Okay, got it.

Not a complain. I just find that there are certain element who always want to minimize how badly Flacco has played since 2012 while tying up so much money. I know I only speak for myself; I don't care if the Browns, the Rams, Texans, 49ers etc have had 100 QBs. I only care about the play of our QBs. I don't look to those teams for solace, rather I look at Pittsburgh, New England, Seattle, Greenbay etc. why can't our QB play like those QBs.
We aspire for the best WRs, CBs, Oline men, pass rushers, RBs. Why can't we aspire for the best QBs? We know the position is the hardest position in football, but our QB has had the keys since his rookie year. He has had all the support of the organization. They've never tried to undermine him. Why can't he reciprocate?

Why can't Terence West play like Walton Payton or Barry Sanders? Same comparison you're trying to make with Flacco. Ben & Brady are HOF QB's - Flacco is not nor will he ever be - yet you condemn him for not being one. He is what he has always been - a strong armed QB that sometimes makes great throws but also makes bonehead throws. But just like in the games this year against JAX, OAK, NYG, WAS, PIT, when the game is on the line, Joe can drive down the field in the final minutes of the 4th quarter for the game winning score. That's who he has always been and who he will always be.

For the record, Aaron Rodgers & Big Ben have not won anything since getting their big contracts either and Flacco has a more recent SB win. Also, Flacco stat line this year - 4,317/20TD/14 INT. Russell Wilson stat line this year - 4,219/21TD/11INT...not as much difference as you claim.

Russell Wilson lifetime rating - 99.6%; 2,689 Rush yds. 5 yrs.
Pathetic Joe lifetime rating - 84.5% 712 Rush yds. 9 yrs.

I know I am in the minority here in Bmore but I don't hate the Steelers. I wish we WERE the Steelers(6 Superbowl win, seriously)? Plus we have had some relative success against them recently, at home and on the road. For some odd reason Joe plays some of his best ball against this team. Go figure. Now the Bengals drive me freakin nuts. For Godsake Bengals fans..WIN SOMETHING and Redskins fans who still think they are back in the 1980's when there team actually WAS good.

6 Superbowls in 83 years vs 2 Superbowls in 20. The Squealers SB wins in the 70s are like Barry Bonds' HR records......

    How?

You would look at it that way. Get off his back and celebrate his almost 4,000 yards.

    Agreed.

Flacco wins the Super Bowl,  people be like he's not that great, look at his stats. Now he gets the stats, people complaining we're not winning games. Flacco can't win for losing around here.

What stats? He's the 29th rated QB in the league!
