  1. Too bad Harbs can't make smart decisions when the game is in progress like he can when he isn't watching. Exhibit A was when the Ravens didn't run the ball and the clock at the end of the Raider game then kick the field goal with about a minute and forty seconds to go and the Raiders without their last timeout. He is an excellent coach in everything except in game decisions. He costs the Ravens an average of two games every season by his terrible clock management and his lack of awareness. That is where Belicheat has it all over him. We still love him but it is hard to take sometimes when you are yelling at the TV to "run the ball!"

I agree.  I haven't read much about the poor clock management here.  But a completion to a wide open Smith would have in all accounts ended that game.  Yeah, the D was awful, but SOMETIMES an ELITE QB, has to bail the team out.  SOMETIMES.  Like the Ravens should be 2-0, instead of 0-2.  I do see a victory this week, however.   Hopefully, jump ball Joe won't screw it up again.

  2. Is it just me, or is it the same guys who get hurt over and over again? I saw somebody else post this a while back, and I thought the same thing. Why not make Webb the full time punt and KO returner. Regardless of what you think of him, he is the best the Ravens have. And then I thought, why do they even need a return man? Every kickoff goes out of the endzone, and the opposing team never punts. And then I thought, when is the last time a RETURN man got injured? Can't remember one. Why not use Webb and Comp as return specialists, maybe they'll stay healthy the rest of their careers!

  3. How about we not get into politics or what stupid politicians (or people that play at being politicans) think? Let's stick to football. And the fact is, Flacco can be called elite when he starts playing like it in the regular season more consistently. It's his eight year. Underthrowing or sailing passes, and throwing game sealing INTs that everyone including opposing defenses can see coming, are not excusable.

    Amen!

  4. Hmm, wouldn't call that a wing and a prayer throw. Bottom line is JJ got behind the corner and went deeper than the safety thought Joe could throw, he was wrong. And I'll take Joe's 11 TDs and zero INTs on the way to winning the SB over a season of 400 yrd games. Heck, he even threw for 8 TDs in last years 2 post season games. Besides, if Bmore wasn't a run first O and invested it's drafts, trades, etc. in WRs, Joe would be throwing 400 every game. It's not a matter of him not being able to throw 400 yards, we're just not built that way.

He threw for SIX TD's and two picks that blew the NE game.  Just like the two last week.

  5. Please correct me if needed- isn't Joe due 26 million next year against the cap

I like Joe, I root for Joe, (of course, being a Ravens fan.) But let's face it, if it weren't for a wing and a prayer heave to Jones in Denver three years ago, I'm not sure if he would even be here.  Maybe it's just me, but a guy who's been in the league for seven years, and has never had ONE 400 passing yard game isn't worth the dough they're paying him.  I REALLY hope the game last week opened his eyes, and he realizes, he's GOT to lead this team!

  6. A 38.2 passer rating is Not elite. It's not good, average, fair or poor. It's pathetic. Blame everyone else on the offense if you want, but jump ball Joe blew the Denver game singlehandedly, just like last year, with two straight ridiculous picks to seal big time losses. Heck, Foles put up 34 and a 115 rating against the best D in the league last week. All Flacco needed to do was hand the stinkin' ball off, and not blow it. Should be able to win, when the D gives up twelve! Take control of this team, Joe. You're the leader, not Marc! ACT LIKE IT!

  7.  The league hates Baltimore it time to embrace it and stop trying to get them to like us.

C'mon man.  No need for an inferiority complex.  The NFL did what they could to accommodate the Ravens by scheduling their west coast trips back to back two times.  Just glancing at the rest of the AFC North schedule, didn't notice any favors for the rest of the Division. It is what it is.  JUST WIN!
