Honestly I think since it was called a catch, it had to stay that way. It hit the ground a little but it was completely in his arms and grasp at the same time. You're right the Oline needs to stay healthy. But imo, it's ALL on Joe now. He has played AWFUL and scared this entire year except for 3 out of the last 4 halfs. Esp. with 10 days off, it loks like the oline is getting healthy, we changed Cord. whih he basically begged for, 2 awesome backs, and weapons galore in the passing game. He's starting to pick it up but he has looked worse than I've seen him in years so far this year. If it's cuz his knee then he shouldn't have come back so soon. No excuses. We would've strted 7-0 no question with averae or OK qb play. That's in the past though. From here on out is what matters. If Joe plays well, I honestly don't think anybody can beat us with the D we have. I think we have better weapons on O than we've ever had. Just my opinion. As John said, it's time to play December ball and start kickin butt beat and beating teams up
Lame. Joe did just fine, he gave good QB play. If the defense didn't blow 2 games or if the WR didn't drop buddy pass touchdowns in 3 games, or .... We are where we are and it is not on Joe, it's everyone. Can't you just be happy for BP? He got that monkey off his back. I expect bigger and bigger things for him with each week now.
LOL. Joe did do just fine. And play well. For the FIRST or maybe second time this year in 9 games!!! vs the Worst D in the league at home. And the D blew 2 games?!?!?!?! You must be kidding. You mean the # 1 or 2 ranked defense in the NFL? It takes all 3 phases to win a game. How can you blame the D when they're on the field the entire game with our 3 and outs? Take out last game vs the BROWNS, and Joe has been playing scared and without confidence this year. Nobody can deny that. Not to mention he only played well for one half....6 points vs the Browns at home in a half.......yeah, that's light out :( It's extremely clear his knee is not 100%. His mechanics are awful, he won't step into his throws, he doesn't have any confidence in the pocket, he hurt his shoulder throwing with only his arm and no lower body, and he looks like Drew Bledsoe trying to scramble out of the pocket. I think 95% of ravens fans would agree with those points. Believe me, I have faith in Joe, and all that matters is what happens from here on out. I just can't deny facts from what has already happened. If Joe gets rollin, I have a hard time seeing us lose. And what are you talking about??? I am very happy for BP. I called it a catch up above. I too expect bigger things from him moving forward. I was just responding to a comment on BP's catch, and giving my take on his other points about the Offense. How is that Lame minionhunter?
Yet Flacco led the offense to a game winning TD against the Raiders - the D gave up the touchdown to Crabtree, Then Joe led the offense down again for the game winning FG and Aiken dropped it. Flacco led the offense down the field for the game winning TD against the Giants. The D gave up the touchdown to Beckham. The #1 defense in the league doesn't give up long touchdowns in the final minutes of the 4th quarter. Flacco led the offense down the field for the game winning TD against the Skins but Perriman didn't get his feet down. That's 8-1 football with the way Flacco's been playing. Hard to blame the QB for going 8-1. Joe has always been inconsistent. Joe has always been skittish in the pocket. Joe has always NOT have perfect foot mechanics. But Joe has always been clutch with the game on the line and in the play-offs.
??????????? Didn't realize Flacco was 8-1. Taking two drives out of context for a game, let alone the whole season, is well, uninformed at best. If it wasn't for this D, FBAJ would be 0-9! So would SRJ. Flacco is ahead of ONLY Keenum and Osweiler (and not by much) as worst starting QB in the league. Pretty much how it's been for the last four years.
