  1. As a Ravens fan, guess I can't lose tomorrow night. However, I think this will be the first time I EVER rooted for the Steelers to win opening day. I just am so tired of hearing the media hype over New England. I would like for Kraft and Goodell to go away forever!
  2. Class act for Jackson to take the high road. Oh yeah, and for the outta work McClain to be so humble.
  3. Jersey #27 not too lucky for Ravens players. So, who won the tickets?
  4. Maybe they can go down the road and kidnap Will Likely. 233 punt return yards today. Man, If that guy was three inches taller, he'd be a first round CB.
  5. Well, whoever is closest will win. It will be interesting to see if anyone gets all 53 right. But yea, hopefully Ozzie'll throw a monkey wrench into that.
  6. Sometimes they just don't show up, like last Saturday. If they wouldn't have played like crap TWICE against the mediocre Bengals last year, they'd have had 12 victories.
  7. Games like this happen. Ravens actually got pummeled like this twice in the REGULAR season in '12 during their SB run. By Broncos and Texans I believe. Glad this was preseason. And by the way, who can get up for a game after spending a week in Philly?
  8. DUH! My bad. Late night I guess. Good catch though. Go Ozzie!
  9. If it's one or the other, go ALL IN on Yanda, and let KO walk. Got Urshel, Hurst, Jensen and Myers waiting in the wings. Plus, it would be nice to have Marshall be the fifth Raven inducted into the NFL HOF, who played his entire career in Baltimore. Not to mention, the first one from the offense. Oops, sorry, Reed bolted for the almighty $$$$. Oh well, close enough! Go Ozzie!
  10. Always give the worst case scenario on any given incident. If Perriman comes back in two weeks, has a Torrey Smith type rookie year and the Ravens do well, no one will even remember Perriman's injury.
  11. Actually, I believe the sign says, "Is Joe Flacco a Elite Quaterback?" The "r" is also missing. Yes, very funny.
  12. A washed up Schaub is still better than Taylor.
  13. My lasting impression of Steve Francis is him whining and crying at the NBA draft when he was picked by Vancouver. My lasting impression of Juan Dixon, was him and Lonny Baxter carrying the Terps to that nerve wracking win over Connecticut (who I believe were #1 seed at the time) on their way to the title. Am I crazy, or did I hear that the Terps are the NCAA basketball 2015-16 preseason #1? I guess Turgeon is a good coach or recruiter. Just a heads up for everyone out there. Don't lend Geno Smith any money!
  14. Even if Smith helps the Ravens to a SB title, there's no way he should go in as a Raven. I love the Ravens, but I wouldn't even feel right about that, and I doubt even Ozzie would expect that. He almost helped the Panthers to a SB victory a few years back and spent 13 of 15 years there. I'm not sure how the NFL decides what team a guy goes in as, so I guess it's possible. The MLB HOF changed their policy from letting the player decide, to letting the Hall decide what cap they where upon induction, when Wade Boggs was over the hill and finished with the Red Sox. Tampa needed a name player to draw fans because they were awful. So they overpaid for Boggs with the stipulation in his contract, that he enter the Hall as a Devil Ray. Utterly ridiculous. I like Billick as a TV guy, but he was a terrible coach. Was lucky to work with Ozzie and have the greatest D of all time. I did admire the way he stood behind Ray during the turmoil and took a lot of heat from the holier than thou media for basically telling them to "stick it." So I guess he should go in just for that.
  15. Well, a definite HOFer. Speaking of the NFL HOF, just my opinion, but Bettis and Seau are two of the most overrated players in the history of the NFL.
  16. Well, he's never contributed a down so far, so the Ravens have lost nothing. Players like Tyson, Guy and Canty, who bust their butts will get the playing time they deserve. Just a matter of time till Moore goes down.
  17. How come people get all mushy and teary eyed over a guy who hasn't played a minute in an NFL game, but pros like Tyson and Guy get no kudos at all!?!
  18. "Wide receiver Breshad Perriman and Marlon Brown and cornerbacks Tray Walker both missed practice." Is it just me, or is there something wrong with that sentence? Allen and Waller will turn out to be the steals of the draft. Go Ozzie!
  19. Sounds like ESPN or CNN or any other number of networks that basically make up their own news and disregard any facts that don't support their political agenda. Do yourself a favor and just don't watch or read. I've found it to be a lot LESS annoying.
  20. I don't think Harbaugh is really that disappointed. He couldn't even remember who the injured were at the presser yesterday.
  21. You didn't have to win a lottery, to attend camp when they trained in Westminster. Any shlub like me and my family was welcome. Really good times for the kids, with Ravenstown and all. Plus, the autograph sessions were great when they hearded all the kids into little pens according to age to wait for the players to come by, without them getting pummeled by the ridiculous adults with no life. Up to 5,000 or more attended each day when they trained there, and it was a real boon to the businesses there. Oh well, I guess they have their reason. Go Ozzie!
  22. Wait a second! Madden changed Yanda's score last year 'cause you complained!?! Why don't you complain about the price of milk, or the taxes in MD, or Goodell being Commish, etc. I'd like to see all those changed and apparently, you can get it done! Go Ozzie!
  23. If I never hear about "deflategate" again, it'll be too soon.
