  1. Wagner, Yanda, Zuttah, Stanley, Monroe. Now, just find a QB.
  2. The question should be, "is he average?"
  3. ... or it was left out by mistake here. If you check the linked original, it's there, so it's not on Hensley. Thank you.
  4. Hey Hensley , are they going to go 10-5, or do you think the NFL will make them play their last game in Cincy?
  5. Was that Elliot Harrison top ten defenders an "April fools joke" also?
  6. They're "deep" in RB's, but not necessarily GOOD ones. Allen, Richardson and West could handle it.
  7. I hope Weddle can still play some ball, 'cause I'm getting sick and tired of seeing his ugly mug on every article posted on this website. Guy seems to be an egomaniacal facetime addict. Do SOMETHING on the field, and THEN go overboard with the self promotion!
  8. This is just a ridiculous comment. What IS sad, is that a GOOD young man's life was taken way too early. Prayers to the family.
  9. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
  10. Well, Wallace and Watson have certainly talked up Flacco. Obviously, neither has seen him play the last three years. The REASON both are here is NOT Average Joe, It's $$$$$!
  11. "The veteran wide receiver was spent the first four years of his career in Pittsburgh." ???? OK, great signing, I guess. Who's gonna get these guys the ball?
  12. Certainly could be a big lift if Monroe could stay healthy this year. He's a darn good player when he's not hurt. I know that's a big if, but I would hate to use the #6 on the OL, when the D needs a playmaker. Could probably find a solid guard in later rounds or undrafted FA's. Ozzie's definitely done that before. I guess it all depends on the first five picks.
  13. So Wagner was tops for Ravens in performance based pay. Hmmmm. Don't have to think to hard to know who was the worst! Probably around -$10,000,000.
  14. Didn't realize this was such an earth shattering signing until this site let me know about it with every other story. OK, SB here we come! I get Byrne's an employee and big fan, but come on. Take off the purple glasses every once in a while, and return from la-la land. By NO means did the Ravens "THUMP" the Steelers in that playoff game. And Jump Ball Joe's bonehead throw to Smith, did NOT come anywhere close "to nearly connecting." with him. I used to like these Byrne identity articles, but most are becoming just so much of Raven's lovefest, they are sickening. By the way, in the '06 playoff game, the Ravens D held Manning and the high powered Colt's O, to ZERO TD's, and McNair pretty much singlehandedly handed them the game.
  15. Well, maybe Watson can run for office when his football career is over. Mentioning Flacco in the same sentence with Brady and Brees, would be like mentioning Jimmy Carter with George Washington or Abe Lincoln. Absurd!
  16. I haven't heard much about Monroe's health or attitude at this point. Would be a great shot in the arm for the Ravens if he could put in 13 or 14 solid games this year. Also, what's up with Zuttah? Can Monroe or Hurst play guard? I'm not really sold on Urshel or Jensen.
  17. No matter who they bring in, the Ravens still need someone to get them the ball.
  18. Well, no matter how you spin it, No. 36 is NOT the first round. Make a solid 2nd round pick.
  19. Anytime somebody references QB rating and wins as relevant statistics for QBs, you can tell they have no idea what they're talking about. If everybody in the NFL understood that he's only worth $10M a year, why are NFL teams paying QBs with lesser statistics and lesser W/L success significantly more money than that? When you say NFL, you mean fans, not the actual NFL. The NFL is the one that tells you, unequivocally, what a player's value is. His value is whatever a team is willing to pay him. Just because some fanboy who sits in his lounger on Sunday, watching a game he doesn't understand while chasing his sorrows with a 12 pack because he dominated JV high school football 30 years ago doesn't make you knowledgeable whatsoever in what a players value is. The NFL tells you precisely what a players value is. All you have to do is watch and listen. If you choose not to, nobody can help you. Education is a wonderful thing. Yes, education is a wonderful thing, so is common sense. So Wins and QB rating have NOTHING to do with how good a QB is? There is NO QB in the NFL with LESSER stats making more $ than Jump Ball Joe. However there are about 20 that have better making much less! By the way, YOU don't know ME. So don't assume to know ABOUT me.
  20. You do realize 2014 was his best year of his career and lit it up in NE with 4 TDs, right? Sadly he didn't have a defense that could stop a peewee football team. Unfortunately choked in that game and hasn't rebounded yet. If a 91 rating is your best year in an eight year career, and 84 is your career average, then average joe isn't even average. Let's face it, if it wasn't for a wing and a prayer heave three years ago in Denver, he might not even be here. The bottom line is, he's got as many rings in eight years as Dilfer had in 12 games. He ain't worth half of what he's making. How come everyone in the NFL understands that, except Ravens fans?
  21. Any article about Flacco is sure to get the excuse machine turned to full speed. Average Joe has been less than that the last three years, and if not for a major gift from KC two years ago, the Ravens would have missed the playoffs for three years in a row for the first time since 2000. Seems to me he got his ring and his $, and he's satisfied. There's been nothing but regression since '12.
  22. RBs are a dime a dozen. Save the $. Go with Allen, LT and West.
  23. The FIRST thing we learn every year from the combine. The greatest cure for insomnia!
  24. WOW! That's one heck of an impressive list. Other than Phelps and Caliendo, those "celebrities" are about as popular as poison ivy.
  25. You gotta be kiddin' me man. Just unbelievable.
