  1. why is this site printing like 4 articles on Wright, like it's a big deal or something? You would've thought we were signing Revis in his prime or something.
  2. According to this article, either the Ravens wont spend money because the players are young, in their prime and expensive.... or because players are too old.... OK who else is left? The Ravens are tight on cap. Jeffrey (who I'd love) is a reach and Boldin (my fav Raven) doesn't fill an immediate need in the slot.. but Ngata could come at a good deal. Can never have too many interior linemen.
  3. Lets clear up one thing -- Kamar Aiken is no Anquan Boldin lol #HOF #ToughAsNails
  4. Burfict is a dirty player with severe issues and I hope he doesn't get a chance on any roster.
  5. strength of schedule. they had an easier schedule than ravens so they got bumped up before us.
  6. I got negged out when I wanted Ravens to lose to Steelers. Steelers ended up in the playoffs anyways and we dropped down from 3 (a sure fire franchise star) to 6. It's not a horrible drop but the risk of finding that franchise star goes down significantly. Ah well
  7. Could've been a top 3 pick. Now we're on the end of the top 10. A home run is a lot easier to hit if you're 5 spots ahead. We most definitely need a home run pick this year. Scouting dept can't drop the ball on this one.
  8. love love love forsett but if its tight money, buck allen and terrance west out of the backfield enough would be a solid duo.
  9. lol i got 12 negs from yesterday's post because I said steelers win wasn't worth it. We're out of the running for best OT and Safety available. You don't think the Steelers will be happy to hear that come next spring at draft? Sometimes we can only think about this moment rather than thinking a few steps down the line. I don't care about little red arrows bc I have a point that some people can't admit.
  10. Congratulations to our Ravens on an emotional win that means nothing for us next year. Great. We went from pick 3 to pick 8. The Steelers were worth that, really? Sometimes it's good to think with your head than your heart.
  11. Glad we beat the Steelers but hurts the Ravens draft. We're out of the top 5 pick now. This is a rare opportunity to get a franchise star player. It's nice to win and get a later draft pick, but when we have the opportunity to build an entire franchise on a top 3 talent we don't take advantage of that. So we win emotionally but we lose in talent acquisition, you decide what's worth more.
  12. People bashed me when our receiving game began to struggle early on... and I said bring up Dan Brown. I got negs and comments like I was stupid. Now they're on the Brown bandwagon. smh sometimes. Lesson : Don't knock any idea because that opportunity could benefit you.
  13. Why are people still analyzing our loses? We stink because of injured players, lack of team chemistry, and beat up heart from this whole season. We did lose this game but the bright spot is we're closer to a top 5 draft pick
  14. Every player has up and down years. To even consider sitting down at the "discussion table" about the future of Justin Tucker makes me relieved that we the fans don't make front office decisions. That guy would get scooped up in a hurry if Bmore ever let him go. Some people just don't see the talent we have. If a player stinks it up for a few weeks or a year, we're ready to cut him, jeez.
  15. Regarding Jacoby Jones, what excited fans is Sarah referring to in this article? He hasn't caught a single ball and his return skills have diminished. Put it this way, Marlon Brown is 10x better in terms of production to date. That's saying something
  16. After the Ravens lose the next game -- they'll ask... "Can the Ravens go 7 and 0??" Come on man!
  17. Can we go 8-0? We just lost the only leader on the team, who basically kept us in the game each week. So pardon my realistic logic when I say this but... No, we wont.
  18. Finally someone being honest and transparent about mistakes and flaws. I like when people take accountability. I'd rather have a person make a mistake and own up to it than be in denial and pretend they're always right. Thanks Marc. Hoping this year teaches us all a lesson to learn from before next year
  19. I think it's also important for Ray Lewis and us to understand that Lewis and Reed were once.. in .. a .. generation. .. players. It is extremely rare for teams to ever have two guys like these on their franchise let alone playing side by side. If he's talking about starting over with cornerstone pieces like him or Ogden, then it's going to be extraordinarily difficult... especially when we haven't had a to 10 pick in so long.
  20. Totally agree with the post below about scouting being a problem. I also have never seen Flacco and the running game play so poorly... it can't be Flacco or Forsett's fault. Even though they don't have many offensive weapons they should at least be mediocre. But they're just awful. Which leads me to my theory on quite possibly the most problematic piece of the team... It's Marc Trestman.
  21. more cap room to actually afford quality players
  22. Maybe you're right, but if things aint working then why not take a chance to change things up. Stop defending WR's that aren't good.
  23. I hear you. I'm bitter too but I don't time and energy to stay in a bad mood and have no power over the ravens personnel so
  24. Guys remember when we had Ray Lewis, and Ed Reed, and Boldin and Torrey, and Pitta and Suggs and we won a Superbowl. If only for a second, it felt nice to be nostalgic about the past Every team has a bad year. I can't blame our fan reactions because we're not used to this feeling. I guess we try to get through every week, hope there are big changes during the season (and offseason) and look forward to next year
  25. You'll notice that Flacco always does that. If we look back to 2 minute urgency comebacks in the past you'll see him do the same thing. Some things never change.
