You know I've understood that! Aiken being pretty much "the guy" cause everyone else went down. That's true! But when called upon he proved he can get it done. Teams knew aiken was pretty much all we had. They watch film and should be able to point out that Aiken's our biggest weapon. So why can't they just take him out the game and shut him down? Because he actually has talent and can make things happen given the right opportunity. I'm not saying he's a world beater by any means but when given a chance he's a serviceable #1 and can probably be a great #2.

Exactly. Maxx has been non existent even when healthy. Gilmore has had it flashes but to inconsistent. Waller has potential and I like him a lot but has a case of the dropsies and Boyle I like a lot but just haven't seen much in the passing game. As of now pitta is far and beyond our best option until proven otherwise. I get the ypc thing is low but he's moving chains. I don't see how he can be judged off of his ypc when our whole offense was built off check downs the whole season.

None of our TE's got out of the 8 ypc range including waller Gilmore and Boyle. And for flacco having 6.5 ypa that sums up our whole offense lol. I guess Jason witten can't do it anymore either cuz he had about the same as pitta ypc

Dude our WHOLE offense was nothing but check downs from TE to WR to RB. We rarely ever took any deep shots and when we did it was to smith and Aiken! Wallace and perriman ran crossing routes and slants which is good they can do more then just run deep but at some point they need to be used to there strengths. I don't care what the stats say I still stand by pitta regardless. I do wish he would restructure tho.

Our guys had no heart for this game. U could see it easily. The will to fight wasn't there. They gave up after last weeks heart breaking loss.

I get what your saying about check downs but our whole offense has been check down city. We've seen our offense all season send our 2 possession receivers Aiken and smith deep and have Wallace and perriman run slants and crossing routes! Flacco goes to pitta so much cuz he has a proven track record especially with each other. Look at our offense today for example. Nobody was getting separation even Chris Simms of all people was pointing that out all game. Dont matter if pitta was deep or not he was the only one doing anything all game.

I see tight end almost like I see our running backs the past few seasons. A revolving door!! Since rice was let go how many backs have we drafted signed or had in our backfield altogether? Same with TE. That's only because pitta went down for a couple seasons. Pitta might be early on the wrong side of 30 but he came back from a career threatening injury TWICE to be our leading receiver flaccos go to guy and a chain mover. Pitta has never been one to stretch the field he dont have that speed and never has! But he's a reliable chain mover who flacco trust probably more then anybody on the field! You dont like his price? Hell me neither but I like what he's done his first season back! I love Darren waller and nick Boyle to. Both have a ton of potential but neither has done anything to take Pitta's job and if pitta is cut were probably right back to a revolving door in TE again with maxx, waller, Gilmore and Boyle and whatever old a** vet we bring in after Pitta's cut. Like I said I think pitta stays and to me he's earned it

Wallace needs an extension for sure he earned it. Would like to keep Wagner but I see him walking and lewis taking over RT. B.will walks. Aiken I wouldn't mind keeping but I believe he walks also for a better opportunity but with smith retiring he may stay. We know he won't be expensive. Also I know Pitta's not a FA but no way he's cut. He's still very productive and a chain mover. This was his first year back after missing a couple seasons and did great. I'm excited for his future

Blame joe for not being open all game. Blame joe for sending smith and Aiken deep all year instead of Wallace or perriman. Blame joe for shaving points off the board early in the season. I gotta bring this up. Joe has over 4000 yards and missed the playoffs and people are crying. But when joe has 3500 and goes to the playoffs people still cry cuz he didn't make it to 4000 lmao that right there sums up our fan base 😂😂😂

What's crazy is that's most of bradys offense is hit his quick shifty dink and dunk receivers and there all RAC guys but yet bradys still credited for it all. All game his receivers run 5 yard routes turning them into 10 15 to 20 yard gains but it dont count when flacco does it. Reminds me of the Superbowl run people said joe threw jump balls to boldin every game and discredited anything flacco did but when Stafford threw jumpers to Megatron into triple coverage he's labeled better then joe. When aj green gets jumpers Dalton is the man same with Ryan and Julio. Flacco will forever be the red headed step child by his own fans and the NFL period its sad

Our defense is nasty and not in a good way! For me this proves jimmy smith is our defense MVP. Eric weddle has done great things but the way this defense falls when jimmy is out literally makes me question the term there's no I in team

What really kills me is if your receivers are covered these fans expect him to make magic happen so if he forces a throw and gets picked there bashing him there to. Ridiculous. People lack common sense. And yes our system is horrible.

Its amazing every single drive you hear the broadcast crew talk about how flacco has no time and even when he does no ones open anyway but yet people continue to bash him. I guess he has to run routes catch the ball and also block for his self to. People have no football intelligence what so ever. What's hilarious to me is flacco will be here for years to come and you unintelligent flacco haters have to deal with it or go bandwagon another team lol get over it

Would love to have norv turner as OC, but I think Marty stays to have a year under his own offense or at least more of his touch. Also I believe they want continuity and I have to agree there.

I just dont understand the "bend but dont break" philosophy from pees? Why play soft and safe and give up a massive amount of yards? I get the whole prevent zone coverage, but that last drive the D wasn't preventing anything except a win for there team! For me, the last drive consisted of 3 things. 1. Play to not let them in field goal range. They was only down by 3 so let the D hunt and finish the game right there for the team. No overtime! 2. If they happen to get into field goal range then you must absolutely do everything to not give up a TD since #1 has failed. And 3. IMO would be try to get turnovers! Weather its a pick, a fumble, or turnover on downs! Pees was calling it way to soft giving EVERYTHING up underneath. He wanted to keep everything in front which is understandable, but your giving up first down after first down and letting pit get out of bounds on will. Pitts Wr's are excellent RAC guys so why let them catch it and run underneath getting all the first downs working there way down field at ease? And what really blew my mind was Pitt had the ball around the 10 yard line, I believe 3rd and 6, pees leaves the middle of the field WIDE OPEN not even trying to prevent the first down, he was playing the end zone and said to hell with forcing 4th and making them tie the game up with a field goal. To me, that last first down is what sealed the game, because Pitt is way to good not to score inside the 5 yard line with a fresh set of downs. You guys may have your own opinion, and by all means please share, buy again, to me pees called a horrible game. Especially on the last drive! I understand players have to play and execute, I agree 100%, but if you dont put your guys in position to succeed how can they? My fiance doesn't know much about football so I had to explain my point like this when she asked how pees called terrible plays and the players didn't stop anything. I told her its 11 guys on offense and defense alike. If pitt goes 4 wide and pees calls an all out blitz and blitzes 8 guys then that only leaves 3 men in coverage! One of Pitts guys is gonna be wide open! How can you get mad at the players when the coordinator set them up for failure? They can't cover everybody. That 1 guy is free to do whatever. But knowing how pees thinks, he will trust the blitz to get there before Ben hits his hot receiver who's wide the hell open just like he trusts the sorry a** bend but dont break scheme that hasn't worked in the last 4 years!!! Who the hell in there right mind thinks its ok to give up first down after first down and yards after yards playing soft like that!? A prevent defense is more so to not give up the big play, but what's the point of being scared to give up a big play when your just allowing Pitt or whoever to take whatever they want in smaller chunks!? There gona get the yards regardless then! Pees is to busy playing [profanity deleted]ing scared and will blow the game in embarrassing fashion rather then to call the game the way you did when you was a top 3 defense! After all the countless games this man has blew over the years by playing the same [profanity deleted]ing scheme you would wonder when he realizes it doesn't work and never will!!! Please get rid of pees!!!
