That is my point, that I make over and over again. Other factors contributing to the numbers. There is something wrong with the offensive system here and it is not mostly on Joe. Emotions run high after losses, I get that, No one likes to lose, but all objectivity is lost when we do.

It is a weak argument that is often pulled out when they want to bash the heck out of Joe.

There are other factors other than Joe's play contributing to those numbers this year. I understand the frustration, I really do. What I don't understand is the hatred that moves from Joe as a player to Joe as a person.

The hate really amazes me. Joe has messed up plenty and most certainly deserves criticism. He does need to do better, no doubt about that. The money he is paid is thrown around constantly, but it is often forgotten that is what quarterbacks cost. They make more than the other positions on the field. I believe a lot of the vicious hate is rooted in jealousy of his wealth and success.

It would be nice to have a wide receiver that fights for the ball other than Steve Smith Sr. It makes all the difference. Those who are bashing Flacco today really need to look at the big picture of the offense. Look at the penalties and dropped balls and miscommunication. Joe is an easy target.
