Buck is not getting the boot. I don't believe he is the one who failed to secure starting pitching.

My prediction: We win 80 games and come in third place. What I want to happen: Tillman pitches like an ace, Gausman kicks butt, Ubaldo is the Good Ubaldo more than Bad Ubaldo, our hitting and relief pitching perform as expected and we win the division. A girl can dream.

I would say that our starting pitching was better in 2014. Of course there is no way to really compare now since the season hasn't even started yet. I hope I'm wrong and I do think there is a chance they could pull something off this season, I just don't think it is likely. If they do make it to the playoffs, I will happily eat my words.

You can win some this way, but not enough to go anywhere.

His arm strength did decrease last season but he got on base all the time and was a strong presence in the clubhouse. To say "how badly" he played and that "he doesn't have it anymore" is ridiculous. And yay on the Fowler signing!

Oh yes, he hit .296 (better than any Oriole last season) and made one error in the field, how terrible!

I can blame Angelos for not resigning Markakis and Cruz when we had a golden opportunity to repeat our success from 2014. Losing both of them hurt. That is not on Buck.
