It does not matter what type of receiver we get (if any) until Flacco gets rid of those rose colored Pita glasses and starts waiting for plays to develop then all others will not be utilized. Flaccos had the "get rid of the ball as fast as i can" jitters most of the season and continually just sought out Pita. I guess between the O'line not creating a pocket for him and the fact that he was just coming off of an injury it is to be expected. But we need a safe and sound Flacco which will help improve us immensely.

i agree for the most part but flaccos biggest need is a successful running game and if they have that then the passing game will be there when needed.

They have it they had it last year only the genius marty didn't use it

I say in FA stop worrying about a 4th or 5th round comp pick That usually doesn't make the team anyway and go out get a playmaker on Off or Def and stop always getting and overpaying for older players you can only draft so many good players a year and when you have a lot holes to fill this will help

I've been saying for years we need to stop focusing on quantity of picks and focus on quality of picks. Unfortunately, we have so many holes now that we need both. Missing ILB, DB, rusher and (if Williams goes) DL. We need OL, WR and fire on the offense.

We need Fire on Off, Def and Coaching staff

  3. To beat brady you either have to "A" have aaron Rodgers at QB scratch that off the list or "B" you have to have a good running game that you actually use and a big time defense that's how you beat patriots and since flacco is our QB we have to go with plan B Not picking on Flacco but just telling the truth he's a little better than average but most times you have to be great but we can beat them with flacco if we run the ball more win TOP and play solid Hard Hitting D In TIGHT man coverage brady will pick zone D alive

Another 8-8 year leads to a major blow up of the organization. If we are depending on Arthur Brown......I mean Correa to step in and play we are off to a shaky start. KC was a 4th to 5th round pick but we outsmarted everybody and picked him in the 2nd round. CP. (Can't Play)

Lmao touché. I remember in draft night I screamed bloody murder when we picked him! I knew he was a 4th-5th round talent at best and look at it now. We passed on Spence, M. Alexander, Shepard, Thomas, jones--who everyone knew would be a good coverage LB.

I loved the rebuttals that everyone on this page gave when I criticized him, "oh he's got a crazy motor, he's relentless, he wraps up well." Guess what? He lacked ideal size, had short arms, lacked any arsenal of legitimate pass rush moves, only played well against mediocre Pac-12 lineman and wasn't excessively quick or capable of moving inside so why did he go in the second?

Then who made the call to draft him in the 2nd round because if he doesn't work out they should sent that guy packing with him Im still hoping the guy works out I mean Christ sakes we gave elam 4 years to prove he is not an NFL player

Rightfully so. Deserves the Pro Bowl nod more than most others. Actually he deserves a SB ring with a Ravens logo on it, but we'll settle for the Pro Bowl this year.

Guy needs to learn how to tackle

89 Tackles bro...as a safety. Highest overall safety of the year what team were you watching?

LOL. And the "Most Ignorant Comment of the Year" goes to...YOU

You don't know what your talking about weddle is an upgrade over some of our past safeties but he is OVERATED he's not a good tackler he gets ran over a lot did you see the TD by A Brown last game at steelers he had him dead to rights and couldn't stop him or his not very good attempt to tackle wentz as he went by him to score or the times he didn't stay deep and got beat for big plays I drink the cool aid but I will call it the way I see It and not one thing I said is not true and for the money he makes he should be a better Tackler he's a little small for a safetie

  7. If Fournette or Cook is available, it would be foolish not to pick one. We need star playmakers on this team because we are riddled with mediocrity everywhere on offense right now. Look at the AFC North, almost every team has better running backs than we do. When Rice was here, we were the best, but now?

Also, taking one of these top playmakers in the first round will force the hand of the coaches to use the run more too. It'll relieve pressure on Flacco to just hand the ball over when he is being blitzed instead of dinking and dunking all day long or committing stupid and costly interceptions.

We need a superstar offensive player that can become the identity of our offense and the face of it. Fournette and Cook have the potential to be that player. I say the Ravens should strictly stick to the best player available strategy in the first and second rounds period. That is the only way we are going to amass talent again.

Finally, John needs to keep his butt out of the draft room and try not to force the scouting department and front office to draft position players only if they are ace special teamers too anymore. He needs to get back to focus primarily on coaching and let Ozzie, Eric and Hortiz do the drafting.

The RB's we have now are good enough if the coaches use them correctly Dixon was carrying steelers on his back 10 yards down field and he will be a lot better this year and west also

Eh, wasn't really serious.  Except that perhaps they did try to put too much on him and that he's thinking too much instead of reacting.  Maybe it's possible to simplify the game plan a bit.  Not everyone is a John Urschel.

I know exactly what you meant. He was potentially overwhelmed or isn't that scheme bright to pick up a complex defense in a hurry. If I recall correctly, wasn't it the same problem with Arthur Brown. He was fast but he just didn't know where he needed to be fast... With Correa, if the light bulb doesn't go off this year, then it is a wasted pick.

No its not a wasted pick if he has the skills its up to the coaches to coach him up as a coach you have to simplify things good coaches adjust their scheme to fit players stupid coaches try to make players do it one way only and if they can't they get rid of them and the player goes to another team and does well

  9. This is getting redundant, and it’s extremely irritating. Fix it permanently or stop talking about it. Drafting has been horrendous the previous three years and quarterback play has been mediocre ( we let go of Tyrod who actually could have helped us). We are one dimensional and every team is aware of the game plan before the game even starts. Stop serving us “pee” and calling it lemonade!!!!!

    Tyrod is Terrible

All the talk about what we lost after the super bowl season revolves around the obvious departures of Lewis, Reed and Boldin. Rarely do I ever hear anyone mention Matt Birk. That guy was a mainstay in the middle of our O line and was one of the best FA pickups we've ever had. Our run game has basically not been right since he left, with the disastrous promotion of Gino the following year and the up-and-down performances from Zuttah.

I thought at the time, Birk was the one we'd miss the most. Turns out we're still missing him. As much as I love Urschel,  I just don't know if he has the physicality to get it done, and I hope we address the position this off-season.

The only thing good about urschel is his math skills guy is NOT an NFL center
