  1. The Ravens need talent of both sides of the ball. Without B Williams and Orr, the run defense will suffer. Mike Wallace, Webb, Dumervil are not worth losing B. Williams. Ravens need to keep their young good players instead of overpaid players.

No it won't Williams is slightly above average I don't see all the concerns about losing this guy he is not a good Pass rusher and DOSEN'T come up big in big games

Banner would be an interesting project if he were available at our 3rd round comp. he apparently is very competitive and isn't lazy like McKinnie was. He comes in between 330-340 and continues to work on his foot work and he could be a tank in the run game, if he's too clunky at RT he could be moves inside to guard if Lewis is the better option--I have 0 faith we will sign Wagner lol.

If Wagner is so good, why was he mentioned more last season? Why didn't he win the RT job outright? He has not distinguish himself as a starter. We have all these potential player that don't pan out.

I'd put my money on Brandon Williams, we know what he can do.

I'll take wagner over Williams any Day

  3. I have to say I have grown to love the draft season almost as much as the regular season. Everybody gets to talk smack, and of course everyone is right (in their opinion).

All the names listed so far sound fine and we will get the last one still on the board when we pick. We will trade back from #16 for an extra pick. And if we don't trade back too far, we might even trade back again. I normally don't like that we do that, but I think in this years draft there is enough talent that we will work out ok.

I don't thing so we should not trade back pick at 16 or move up we need top quality players not quanity who half wont make roster anyway

He's a beast for sure and probably the 1st C off the board. He's probably a 2nd Round pick maybe to Carolina but I doubt he falls past Cleveland's first pick in Round 3.

The name no one is talking about to the Ravens is Cam Robinson. He could be there at 16 and could slide into the RT or LG spot (If Lewis moves to RT). He a big nasty mauler and road grader. And Ozzie loves him some Bama boys. He's not a LT so he could easily fall in the 1st Round.

I also like Tyler Orlosky from WV. Needs to pack on some muscle but has that nastiness you want. Could be available 3rd Round Comp.

i doubt we use #16 on a lineman unless we trade back and acquire another draft pick. cb, s or edge rusher at 16 i would think.

No trading back we need quality picks not quantity of picks

Would be a good fit for us. He's a zone coverage guy, rather than man coverage, and we play a ton of zone coverage. Smith-Tavon-King-Weddle-Webb nickle package looks pretty good.

yes we play a lot of zone coverage that's why were not in the Playoffs again this year because we get torched we should mix our coverage some zone and more man with safety over top guys like brady pick zone D apart that's why the steelers are home now

Got to have CBs that can cover if you're going to play man. You want Shareece Wright man on man with Antonio Brown or Julian Edelman? No thanks.

    Brady picks every team apart.....

I would rather go down swinging as far as wright goes he shouldn't even be on this team but I still would have maned up in TIGHT coverage on 3rd downs and gave shareece wrong safety help

No No , only consider King in 4 or 5 round, this is the year to find Jimmy Smiths Partner for lockdown CB , Wilson or Tabor in Ist and Name to look for 3rd or 4th round-- Rasul Douglas (WV) 6'2" 204 A JSmith clone?

I disagree about King though. The guy is a stud. No way he lasts past pick 50 imo. I think he'll be taken well before that too

A 5'10 CB that can't keep up with speed receivers at senior bowl a 3rd rounder at best

Stanley & Lewis are beasts on the left side. Zuttah played well when Lewis & Yanda played next to him. When Yanda had to move out of position & Vlad took over RG, Zuttah looked like an average C at best. He's serviceable if playing next to Lewis & Yanda. Yanda - RG, nuff said. If they re-sign Wagner this O-line is very good - 4-0 record when they all played together last year. Urshel is a solid "utility" back-up that can play the G & C positions.
Need a road grader for the right side at Tackle & back-up to Yanda. A young C that can learn from Zuttah and take over the following year (no way I want a rookie C starting next year)

zuttahs got to go gets pushed back in joes face to often for my liking

A Center needs help especially going against a 3-4 defense with a NT. He got almost none with Vlad at RG. Having Yanda/Lewis back to help block that NT helps immensely. Which btw, makes BWill so valuable - even though he doesn't get the sacks, he ties up 2 offensive linemen and still controls the A gaps.

you need to watch games more closely 1 on 1 he gets manhandled and that has nothing to do with a LG or RG this guy is a good Back up

funny that STANLEY was as confused at what kind of lineman the ravens wanted,a pass blocking lineman? or a run blocking one, well actually ALEX LEWIS was better at both and a more complete lineman,STANLEY tended to get pushed around by the likes of HARRISON and BULL RUSHERS,he needs to get stronger this offseason,if you look back at the games when ALEX LEWIS was in at left tackle,we won ALL of those games.

Are you kidding? Lmao. Stanley was far superior in pass pro and had one bad game v Harrison. Lewis might be better at run blocking, but I do agree, Stanley needs to come in at 320 of solid muscle to get push on run plays

The one bad game stanley had was when he just came back from 4 weeks off with injury Stanley was a 1st round pick that was worth it

Keep Wallace and cutting him would be a huge mistake. He's the one play maker that's left on offense and he gets enough YAC that he makes the offense look better than it is. Get Brandon Marshall as Receiver #1 for God's sake! If he isn't released try to trade for him if necessary. Just get him and he'll become the face of our offense on day 1.

How sweet would it be to have 2 potential 1k yard WRs and a 1st rounder backing them up? I'd be dissapointed if marshal was on the block and Ozzie didn't make a move. No 6th or 7th rounder in the upcoming draft will have a better 2017 than B.Marshall.

Marshall is not a #1 Receiver and not worth 7.5 mil a year

Don't be surprised if we use a high pick on a TE. Right now we have a lot of guys that we can't rely with injuries. None of them have proven that they are top TE's although Pitta once was. This is also a strong class for the position.

I would be shocked because we don't need a TE we already have to many

I wouldn't. Watson is too old and coming back from an Achilles Injury. Gilmore is great when not Injured but he has had 3 serious injuries in the last 2 years. Maxx Williams is coming back from serious Knee injury and who knows how he will play. Pitta does not get separation or can block. Boyle can Block but gets suspended allot. If the TE from Alabama is their in the 1st round Ozzie will take him.

I doubt that. We have spent way to many resources on tight ends in recent years. We spent a third on Crockett, a second on Maxx and later picks on Boyle and Waller. Pitta will be here next year because we won't save much if we cut him. And if Pitta gained 736 yards "without getting separation" imagine what some of those young guys can do. Tight Ends use their body to box out and create separation. And for the most part they will have an advantage over the person covering them. If its a DB the TE can use his size to box out and if a LB, or a DE they can use there speed. You don't have to be Eric Ebron to be a good TE in this league. No way are we taking a TE in the first.

    Ebron couldn't carry pitta's jock

Brandon Williams asks: "Where is the love?"

I ask: Where were you during that last quarter of the season?

Finally someone who know's football this guy wears down and takes plays off I like him at the right price but he is not worth top dollar we need to spend on pass rush and CB

I am just glad that we have a guy on here with 5 years of organized football experience like yourself. Your commentary is always so insightful.

Im glad to see you know that I played foot ball I was a RB Safety and LB and I was pretty darn good and played the whole game Including Special teams P.S.when I talk football I know what Im talking about
