  1. He would be an idiot to come back. He is a very safe and reliable receiver that felt wronged by the coaches. He's not coming back unless we make him an offer better than what he's getting from other teams. When have the Ravens ever paid someone more that way?

He wasn't wronged by the coaches he was wronged by his Horrible special teams play he couldn't get open and dropped a lot of passes

webb has to go and if A Levin is your secondary depth then you have no secondary

webb played really well for a first year safety and you cant lose so many people in the secondary without a solid plan. Levine, mat telam, jerraud powers are all ufa, kendrick lewis and kyle arrington have to be cut. if you add webb to that list you have eric weddle and marqueston huff as your only safeties. levine is a solid back up and pretty good special teamer, he wont cost much to keep and webb has to stay with so many turnaround going on

webb played terrible and so did Levine and all those players you just named will all be thankfully cut

Ok but are you sure the pass rusher that will drafted will be good? Are you sure that Judon and Z.Smith will be better next year? That is why you need Dum at reduced price in the team. When healthy, he is our best pass rusher after Suggs. He is a proven pass rusher and has only been bad because of injury. Even while injuried, he still has a better sack number than all of our young pass rushers. If he takes a pay cut, he will help the team. If cut he will be good in another team. We need Dum, Webb, Pitta and Wallace at reduced prise. They still have things to give to the team and help develop the young kids in the team.

Don't expect Dumervil to take a pay cut. Many teams with huge cap space will pay him what he wants.

    let them have him

  4. I really hope we don't cut Zuttah. There are no linemen currently on the roster who would be an upgrade, and there are no improvements available via free agency. I don't know of any legit, starting-calibre centers available via the draft either. Also- Zuttah was the only guy on the line who started all 16 games last year. Considering Baltimore's terrible luck keepinig guys healthy, we need all the reliable guys we can get.

    Zuttah is the week link

  5. cut dumervil, watson, wright, arrington and lewis. extend webb with a maybe 2 year contract, he played pretty good in his first year as a safety so I would try to keep him while lowering his cap hit. resign anthony levine for secondary depth plus special teams, resign guy (highly underrated team player), juice and if possible wagner. Williams will price out and we know it.. ravens cant overcommit to just one player with so many holes in the roster, specially when michael pierce played so well as an undrafted rookie. hopefully he can take a step forward next year.

Free Agency and 15 picks before us will dictate who we take but we could have won more games and made the playoffs with just a few Defensive stops in the 4th quarter a lot of that was coaching but we had guys that couldn't tackle wouldn't tackle didn't know who to cover and when they did didn't cover we need help on the Defense more but if you can get the best RB or WR in the draft at 16 you have to think about it I on the other hand would go Pass rusher 1st RD cb 2nd rd

still wondering why pees is still here

I have been asking that same question for 2 years now his 4th quarter defense hasn't changed different players every year same coach same results I'm no math wiz but I can put 2 and 2 together

the more qb's picked before us the better value we end up with plus it makes our pick that much more attractive to teams drafting behind us. i hope we do not trade back but if the trade offer is too sweet to pass up on than we all know ozzie will take it. im just tired of hoarding picks we end up losing in 4 years

And those trade backs haven't resulted in pro bowl players either. We need studs, not role players.

Exactly when we trade back we only get guys for special teams or guys that don't make the team we need Quality players not Quantity you can get Special team players after draft as RFA

    keep Williams

only if the price is right I mean what games did some of you guys watch for Christ sake this guy is good But NOT Great and should make nowhere close to 10 mill a year and with we overpay him we will be set back again I would rather have a top CB or Receiver

I watched every game, no one played as well as Willams. Sure The Ravens young guys did a good job, however big guys cannot play all the downs no matter who they are. So your point is you would rather give up first downs, control of the ball and possibly multiple scores.

No one is arguing getting a CB, It can be done but lets stay in contention.

Williams shut down run games, he has the capability of playing some pass however its not his best suit. The Ravens have no veteran DL if Williams goes. I believe he is an anchor of the team. He is a leader on and off the field.

I would give up Zuttah and Dumervil for Williams any day of the week.
I would risk a Rookie Center or developing a replacement, than a weakened DL. The LB crew will be fine without Doom.

As far as a WR, the Ravens can afford one with the loss of SSr.

I argue that the Ravens have the space to keep Williams. If you are saying you don't want him, that is just something that we disagree on.

Then you didn't watch close enough Williams took plays off missed to many tackles for my liking and at times in 1 on 1 match ups gets manhandled 1 game in particular I saw a guy with 1 arm throw Williams to the ground like a rag doll maybe raiders or dallas game also B marshall I would not want he's not getting anywhere near 10 mill a year and garcon is not worth 9 mill a year that being said smarter to spend more on a WR than a guy who is just ok bye the way name 1 just 1 game Williams ever Dominated you Can't because he NEVER has that's why he's not worth the money I agree with you to a point I still would like to keep him but not overpay for him as I said before he's good just not a game changer

roman was hired so harbs has someone with coord. exp to replace marty if the offense is stale. pees should have been replaced. he always goes into prevent defense when he has a lead and stops doing what was working the whole game. if he were atlantas def coord he would have blown that lead as well. almost blew it in 2012. hopefully harbs is in his ear whenever we have a lead from now on. all of their jobs depend on it

Why wait until we dig ourselves into a hole to make the change?

This guy should have been gone after last year

No Cruze Let wagner walk if any body gives him anywhere near 10 mill a year they should get fired and as for B.Williams I guess you would play for 14 mill ayear Dude your actually worth about half that

A bit harsh but unfortunately very accurate...

cruz who I really like as a player may still have some gas but I wouldn't touch him because of the risk of him getting hurt. That simple.

wagner should be offered 8 mil per year take it of leave it deal where he'd have to earn the last 2-3 years when the cap hit really hurts

williams is not worth more than 10 a year so offer him that with a nice guarantee and call it a day.

both cap hits would count less than 9 mil against the cap this year.

let go of Doom and Watson and start the offseason with one objective. Get better!

I agree with everything you said except Williams he's not worth 10 mill a year in my opinion I also like all 3 players but cruze Injury prone and on down side of career wangner I like at 7 mill a year and B Williams 7 maybe 8 mill a year WE can Afford to lose Williams we need a better LB , safety and CB

Interesting to think about if we didn't resign any of our free agents. I think Wagner is the only one we should consider.
I know everyone has their preference, but I would probably cut:
    -Doom
    -Wallace
    -Pitta
    -Watson
    -Arrington
    -K.Lewis
    -Webb
    -Wright
    -Zuttah (hopefully trade him)

If a site is right that frees up 33 Million in cap space!!! Not to mention it's be great to add a little to that if Flacco restructured at all.
That means we really can go after whoever we want. Hope KC pissed off Berry so much he leaves.
I think Stephone Gilmore and Marshall (through trade or FA) have to be our top targets.
If we did cut all those names above, the only positions to fill from the moves would be
    wr-Marshall
Safety- Cyprien would be Awesome at SS- Weddle to FS
    Corner-Gilmore, or Trumaine Johnson
Center- I'm hoping for Elflein in round 2
We already need a pass rusher. Round 3 maybe. Or round 1 if we grab Gilmore and there's a stud at 16. Solomon Thomas would be awesome
Though I doubt we'll make that many cuts, this should be an interesting offseason

    Stop the madness lol

you were on the right track untill you said release Pitta and Wallace.

iv occasionally  criticized Flacco for his inconsistant play last year but to take his 3 best pass catchers in 1 offseason is insane. We want to add talent not wholes on this squad.

Pitta took a 4 mil dollar paycut last year as a thank you so there's just about 0% the Ravens cut him. It also only frees up 3.2mil if we do and there's no way we find anyone better for that amount. Maybe we can play with his contract a bit to free up cap but he won't get cut.

Wallaces contract was structured in a way that we'd redo it this year so why would you let go of a 1000 yard WR? Redo the deal and the cap hit falls a few million. Agai if you let go of Wallace then you save 5.5mil. Good luck finding a 1000 yard receiver with that money.

also Webb is not getting cut unless a better option walks in the building. The Ravens have all the leverage now to redo his deal so why lose him for nothing?

everything else you said could probably happen. Including Flacco taking 4 mil up front and moving the cap hit to 3 years down the road but I wouldn't recommend that kind of a move unless we're going all in. Super bowl or bust kind of move.

I agree with almost everything you said except webb won't be back we need to upgrade his position
