  1. Elvis has left the building
  2. Funny... considering one of us is watching tape right now on draft prospects as we speak Big deal and one of us actually has a real job
  3. are you sure you aren't already the gm of the redskins? Pal I forgot more about Football then you ever know now go back down in mommys basement
  4. and that is why I am encouraging you to put in your resume Thanks for your support billiejean I remember you when Im at the top
  5. I commented on your post this morning because it was such an outrageous assertion. You should give your resume to Ozzy and the guys if you think you know more than they do. We need all of the help we can get at this point. With your 5 years of "organized football" experience you will be a shoe in. I do a lot better job than you
  6. Funny, because the Ravens think Lewis' best position might actually be RT. He was playing LG (out of position) out of necessity. I honestly don't think he was a good fit at LG and starting two rookies on the blind side was a bad idea. No surprise to me that the team improved when Yanda went to LG. I don't care what they think their was just a report out this week that said the ravens want to keep lewis at LG to have a solid Left side of line which to me makes perfect sense
  7. No the ravens want to keep lewis at LG to help protect flacco's blind side when you lose a RT you get a RT you don't start moving guys out of position that just makes thing worse and the ravens have a couple of RT's that are big and athletic that they like don't worrie if we lose some one they will find a replacement
  8. They can all be replaced. Its been quite at the Ravens Facility for a Reason I thing they have their eye on Jefferson at safety and mangold at center
  9. Eric weddle played at an all pro level last year even if it wasn't recognised - he's way more than solid - he solidified an entire unit by being excellent and a leader - I don't think there's any doubt that he was a phenomenal signing notice how all the teams with the most cap space are perennial losers and the teams who annually spend the most in free agency are perennially mediocre - overpaying doesn't pay right player-right price and Jefferson would not fit that bill - we'd be dumping Webb for a guy who we would be paying similarly when Webb played pretty well last year for his first season at safety I see you are a weedle fan but just to clear it up he's average and on the down side of his career If he could have tackled A brown we would have beat the steelers and the guy gets beat deep a lot because he plays out of position and doesn't have the speed to recover To be clear, Weddle missed THREE tackles ALL year. He was graded as the 10th BEST player in the ENTIRE nfl and the BEST safety in the league. http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2017/2/10/14559076/pff-ranks-two-ravens-among-the-top-10-players-of-2016 He got beat over the top ONE TIME (link below) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AC2if-GELA It seems that these two plays (A Brown stop, C Hogan bomb) have become so prominent in your mind that you have extrapolated them across the entire season. Yes because those 2 plays alone each cost us the game those are facts and far as pff goes their rankings don't mean JACK Well, jsarrocohome you have bolstered your arguments in the past by highlighting your participation in "organized football" for 5 years. And I must admit that, that is extremely impressive. And it is an accomplishment that automatically makes your arguments about the Ravens much more credible than those that have played 4, 3, 2, 1 or 0 years of football. But I would ask you this... has your 5 years of football made you better at player evaluation than the coaches, players and pundits in the NFL. I ask you this because you will not find an article, interview, or transcript that agrees with your evaluation of Weddle. Are you so good at player evaluation that you are seeing something that they don't? Are they missing something so big that it would completely change their minds about Weddle? If you can find an article, interview or transcript that supports your views I would love to see it. Now lets forget about PFF for a moment. I am going to directly disprove your accusations. "can't tackle he's slow and so overrated" This is quote from you which I am going to disprove with real FACTS (Labeling your objective statements as facts is a bit disingenuous.) WEDDLE missed THREE tackles this whole year. The notion that he can't tackle is absurd. http://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2017/2/10/14559076/pff-ranks-two-ravens-among-the-top-10-players-of-2016 "the guy gets beat deep a lot because he plays out of position and doesn't have the speed to recover" This is another one of your statements. For the first half of the year Weddle game up 5 passes for 25 yards. For the second half of the year he gave up 9 catches only one was for 25 yards or greater. Add on to that 4 interceptions and 13 passese defensed. Being out of position was clearly not an issue that he dealt with this year.http://feed.hypervocal.com/items/438534 These are facts. These are objective numbers with no grey area. Capitalizing the word "FACTS" does not make your subjective statements any more real. I noticed billie jean that you like to comment on about everything I say you must really like me In the case of weddle I don't give a damn what anybody else thinks I know what a good football player looks like and you can disagree from now till hell freezes over but it doesn't change what I see Weddle is a average NFL safety and yes Me and lots of other smart fans know more about players than Some coaches, coaches sometimes have emotional attachment to players and fans will call it like it is by the way forgot to mention when weddle moved out of carson wentz's way and watched him score
  10. This team needs to upgrade at least 10 players we have a lot of overpaid players that need to go

  12. What are you talking about? Weddle had a fantastic season and was ranked as the #1 safety in the entire league by pff. Pff rankings are ajoke and what Im talking about is against the Pats he bit up on a run that Didn't happen and was torched by Brady this happened late in 4th quarter when as a safety your Only job is to not get beat deep and keep everything in front of you, several missed tackles thru out season one in particular that cost us the steeler game against A brown he had him wrapped up and still coudn't stop him that cost us that game I think he's OK but not great that's what Im talking about and these are Facts
  13. Well i've heard the potential salary for Jefferson is about 7-8M/a year... I think he's worth it unless we plan on landing a safety in the draft that is plug and play. He's not worth close to berry money
  14. But he plays the exact same way as weddle - so we'd be playing two guys with not that much range and we'd be paying them a lot of money - I don't know what this infatuation with Jefferson is on some parts of these boards - he's an above average box safety and that's about it Weddle will only be here this year
  15. If you are talking about Terrance west he's worth the 2 mill I mean did you not see the guy play also its to quite on the ravens front their up to something
  16. Weddle is a due it all safety. He can play free safety as well as strong safety. He takes great angles to the ball and ball carrier. If we sign Jefferson, we would most likely waive Webb, move Weddle to Free Safety and have Jefferson as strong safety. not sure we go that route, but I'm a big Jefferson fan Weddle plays out of position gets beat deep a lot and can't tackle he's slow and so overrated was good at 1 time but no where close to ed reed
  17. How do you know what perriman is going to do? give the guy a chance he's only played 1 year I will bet you he will have a lot better year this year than last you do realize that coaches have to use the players enough and correctly to get the most out of them

  19. What took so long
  20. Its a year to year business the team changes a little every year but I like the old way better were guys stayed with 1 team their whole career with few exceptions
  21. No he's not he's Terrible
  22. I been saying it for years now pees sucks that's why Bill belichic got rid of him he's not a good game time adjuster and our DB's play so far off the receivers I can't see them on my big screen and how in the hell can you stop a team for 3 and a half quarters and then let theme go down the field with ease and score and lose another game we should have won
  23. the to players that were mentioned he might like them but that's not the one's their Interested in or he would be an Idiot to tip his hand before the draft
  24. Powers got Beat like a Drum
  25. They have nothing else to talk about right now
