  1. Webb and Watson must go that's the ravens problem to many older players and webb can't cover
  2. We need apass rusher first because if you can't get to the QB no corner can cover all day WHats your thought on Solomon Thomas. I didn't really watched college this year, and have only studied a little so far. He looks pretty awesome though. I still think we need a CB first round. Esp with all the talent this year. I feel like there could be at least 2-5 future pro bowl cbs in the first round of this year. I've never really seen that before. And there is a bunch of talent elsewhere. In all honesty, at 16, I feel like we'll be getting a player that would go top 5 i a lot of drafts. Because of the overall talent in this draft. We still have to get the pick right though, obviously. I feel like we have to go corner for so many reasons. So far I really like Wilson, Tabor, Jones, Jamal Adams (saftey), and there's at least 3-4 other cbs people are talking about going in the first. I haven't looked much yet. Wilson looks like a remedy for Ravens football to me. Pair him with Jimmy Tavon and Weddle for years to come = secondary problems beyond solved, and probably the best in the league. Building the rest of the D around that would be fun imo I haven't watched any college FB this year but will watch senior bowl mock drafts have us taking a pass rusher from Alabama with our first pick don't remember his name but sounds like a good player but I agree with you CB talent deep in this draft seems tobe good corners available in first 3 rounds Just hope FO doesn't make the mistake of drafting CB late and miss out on top talent, thinking its a deep class. They have a deep need to upgrade the secondary talent period. Everyone knows the Ravens have a stout run game defense. There is already pass rushers on this team. Give them another 0.2-0.3 seconds on average to get home and the difference in outcomes will be huge. Opposing QB's were not forced into holding the ball long enough to feel the pressure and negates the work of your pass rush and wears them down in the process. Also Weedle and Webb was a good combo at Safety, but really now is the time to think forward and bring another young player in to learn the position from those vets. They did not groom up a safety before Reeds departure and look at the whole situation that created. It took several years to "fix" but they are again in a similar position. Elam is good for depth but needs to show more on the field to consider him a future starter. we will have to address some needs before draft in FA and Im not a fan of weddle or webb weddles not terrible but shies away from hitting and webs play and salary will be enough to cut him this year we need a thumper at saftey
  3. We need quality picks not quantity 1st round pass rusher or CB or WR 2nd round whatever one we didn't get in the 1st free agency will determine some of this

Elam has put so many bad plays on tape that I'm worried that he might be out of the NFL completely come next year. Elam should and will be gone this year he's terrible
  5. We need apass rusher first because if you can't get to the QB no corner can cover all day We did have a pass rush this year. The good old 1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi, 3 Mississippi, 4 Mississippi, 5 Mississippi, 6 Mississippi, .........Agree! We need HEAT UP FRONT! Yes the pees pass rush its so good you can't see it

  7. we need whole new coaching. offense, defense, and head. If it's obvious to the fans, why isn't it obvious to Steve? That is an excellent question that, for the life of me, I cannot come up with an answer for. I Have to believe that this next season will Absolutely be a make or break year for Harbaugh. He Needs to get us back into the playoffs or he won't be getting another chance. It very well could be yet another tough year to watch and be a Ravens fan. And I'm stuck with it because NOTHING could change the fact that I'm a RavenManiac. That's for life. I honestly hope that I am 100% wrong about Harbaugh and will very happily eat my crow if he proves me wrong. I would just LOVE for that to happen. For real. But, I suspect that even if that were to happen, while yes, that crow would be eaten, doubts about Harbaugh would most likely remain for a while longer. I think if Harbs doesn't get us back to the playoffs this upcoming season, "he's done." And he should be already missed playoffs 3 out of 4 years now
  8. I like Weddle and he tries really hard, but he's slipping too. Sometimes he doesn't seem strong enough to bring down some of these big, muscular receivers or RBs. We always get good playmakers on the end of their career so we don't get much benefit from having them. It's like they say, "you get what you pay for." He gets drug all the time he is too old! I have seen him try like hell but he needs to get to the weights or something! You know it was he who was trying to stop brown? He also aint crap on safety blitz. I watched him about four times in the last game blitz and took the same path everytime to the quarterback to no avail! He is too old but what better choice do we have? Weedle is another over paid older FA that can't tackle we need a safety that lays the wood an enforcer
  9. Is it my bad memory, but I keep thinking there were not that many three and outs? That defense is not the 7th best in nfl I don't care what stats say I know what I saw
  10. We DID improve our secondary. Look at the number of interceptions we had this year compared to last. We've allowed way less "chunk" plays. We have better safetys than last year. We have better corners than last year. You cant fix it in one year. We have made big gains and if we make the same amount of improvement next year we will be awesome. we should have kept Monroe, and drafted Hargraves, or others that were available for secondary and God knows there were a few quality to choose from! Stanly is ok but we needed help else where you must be smoking crack Monroe sucked and did you see hargraves play this year he got beat like a drum
  11. When you are loaded with mediocre players you likely will go 8-8. We're definitely not loaded with mediocre players. I sincerely believe we had the most talented roster in the AFC easily, and maybe the whole league. The problem was we are loaded awful coaches all the way around, except Frazier. And Joe played pretty much the worst football of his career this year Yes we are a lot of our players are to old in key positions that being said we have a roster that is better than 8-8 with better coaching

And Joe played pretty much the worst football of his career this year Most talented roster in the AFC? Mosley, Stanley, Yanda, SSS, Dixon, Williams(maybe) and right about now I'm looking at a lot of roster fillers. You can take Williams off that list he is so overrated not worth big money I seen get manhandled and take plays off no thanks
  13. We need apass rusher first because if you can't get to the QB no corner can cover all day
  14. we need whole new coaching. offense, defense, and head. If it's obvious to the fans, why isn't it obvious to Steve? This year will be their last no playoffs this year and it's bye bye harbaugh albeit a year to late for my liking
  15. I don't know who you are looking at Perrimans a hell of a lot better than clayton and he's only played 1 year with no training camp the guys going to be a baller
  16. He needs to put on about 10 Lbs of muscle on them chicken wings but I think he's going to be a good player
  17. Route running is Coaching
  18. None of that would matter unless you created an offense and called the plays to go downfield. What we have here is the worst instance of a West Coast offense. No
  19. Finally someone who knows football It truly does starts and ends upfront on both sides of the ball
  20. Compared to Monroe he's the Best Ever
  21. How many college athletes are tall, strong, and fast? Several. A good WR must have good hands- consistently (not Perriman), and must run routes well (not Perriman). OBJ is slower, shorter, and smaller than Perriman. But there isn't a Ravens fan living that would take Breshad over Odell. It's not about height, weight, and speed. It's about hands, agility, and focus. Give the guy a chance he's hardly played and did some very good things scored 4 TD's in Limited opportunities The best receiver ever in the NFL had a lot more drop's than perriman did in his first year and that would be jerry Rice ALSO how many TD's did Aiken score yeah that's right 1
  22. Zuttah is gone. and he should be
  23. Dude that's a good one
  24. I agree with you, merryjman. All of these people crying for certain people to be fired have never been to a practice or a meeting and yet claim to know more than the head coach. With just a couple more defensive stops we could have been in the playoffs. Getting a new assistant coach with new ideas will help. Keeping the same OC and OLC will keep some consistency, something our offensive line and offense really needs. I played organized football for 5 years Im pretty sure I know what im talking about and I have actually been to a ravens practice there are lots of fans that know as much as some of these coaches and consistency can be good or bad Pees has been consistently bad for years and as for marty look up the offenses that he coordinated they all ranked in the bottom of the league
  25. Why would you think that Castilo has anything to do with play calling, Im referring to the #27 draw play reference, juan should have been fired a couple years ago he's the run game coordinator and teaches blocking and scheme so instead they fire his assistant
