      I mean, a YouTube legend I guess.

Guess it depends on how you define "legend".

He wasn't very good when he left. So why would I want him back?

ESPN App should have it. Not sure if NFL network will.

  5. Cardinals, Dolphins, Texans and Bills. Wow. Do you think NE could have hand picked a better 4 games for Brady to miss? Interesting.

Yeah, pretty tough slate there most likely.

  7. As a football fan, I just want to see the Patriots lose, whether it is to Peyton, or to a possible SB rematch to the Panthers. Brady's whining losing face is priceless lmao

Oddly, I'm pulling for the Pats. I hate Denver, and since I think both the public and the NFL grossly overreacted to some deflated footballs, I sort of appreciate the fact that the Patriots, once again, are just absolutely sticking it to everybody.

I mean, your comment says "do not draft an Alabama Player". It says nothing about #6. We obviously wouldn't be looking at Derrick Henry at #6, as he's not a realistic option at that spot.

If it feels like I'm putting words in people's mouths, its because I am. Lets face it... why didn't you say "Hey Ozzie, don't draft any USC players" or "Hey Ozzie, don't draft any Ohio State players". The reason you picked Alabama is because Ozzi...

Nobody is suggesting taking one at 6... he means not taking one period.

He's perpetuating the myth that Bama players don't make good Pro players, which is absurdly false.

Well, realistically, nobody expect Elam to be the FS of the future. He just played that role his rookie year because Huff sucked so bad and because Elam couldn't beat out Ihedigbo for the SS job.

Though I'm seen relatively nothing impressive from Pryor or Clinton Dix, so its hard to knock the decision.

Urschel won't be the center...he's not as effective as Zuttah. Also there's multiple quality LTs in the draft outside of Tunsil

I didn't see any more pressing needs at the time. The FO all but told us that off season that upgrading that position was a high priority

Don't think they'll need tricks. Hard for me to see many ways where KC puts points on the board.

      I like Pats comfortably

  19. What the heck are we going to do about our TEs? We've got 4 that I don't want to cut. Pitta will be 100% again (or as close to 100% as he's going to get at this point), Crockett has showed a ton and then some to deserve his job, Maxx flashed toward the end of the season plus he was a high pick, and Boyle was doing better than Maxx until his injury. What are we going to do? Take up 4 spots?

    1. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

0% chance even a healthy Pitta is back next season at his current salary. Guy had over a year to come back and still couldn't get clerance...

  20. I wonder if any regrets are setting into Kubiak's mind for leaving... I know they are better now, but how far does anyone really see that team going? When Peyton retires next year, that division is up for grabs.

    1. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

Nope, Denver's in a good spot. A lot of their key players are locked up long term, they'll free up even more cap space by dumping Manning, and they can upgrade their O line and become a much more run based offense.

And the defenses in that division will continue to suck.

While that's true Bmore, you'll also have answers to those assumptions prior to the draft, so it won't be an unknown by then.

Drafting him and letting him sit is one thing. The problem is... there's no indication that we are moving on from Joe as our starter for probably at least 4-5 years, which means whoever we drafted will likely have already had their rookie contract expired by the time its time for them to start.

Basically, he'd be a Ryan Mallett. When Joe is perceived to be close to being done in this league, then we entertain this thought.

Mostly based on a premise of drafting "early". What defines "early"? First two rounds, first three rounds?

Given the current landscape of QBs in college and given what this team's goal is, I don't see how drafting a QB in the first two rounds makes this team better in the short or in the long term.

That would be a wasted draft pick then.

And every QB in the league makes similar mistakes to Flacco.

Actually, it has a GIGANTIC influence. In reality, the opinion of Luck is arguably the ONLY thing that matters, because he's the only thing that matters in regards to that franchise. The GM is replaceable, and the coach is certainly replaceable.

I could care less whether Gruden grills playcalling or not, because his opinion doesn't matter. There's 32 OC's in this league who's play calling is questioned by numerous people on a weekly basis. There's people sti...
