  1. It's too late to say, "I won't do that next time." The game is lost. Moseley won't reach for the goal line with one hand, Jernigan won't run the ball out, etc. etc. etc. Try this: Do it right the first time! We needed to be 7-0 at this point to have a good shot at the playoffs. The teeth of our schedule is coming. With four stupid losses, we are now staring at 5-11 or 4-12. Who do you blame for repeated, stupid, game-costing mistakes? The guy at the top. Goodbye Harbaugh. It was good while it lasted, but you have obviously lost this team.
  2. 15 penalties is unacceptable. If a player has 2 penalties or more in a game, he should sit the next game. I'd rather lose playing penalty-free than watch any more of this un-watchable product.
  3. Looked down the comments and saw repeated instances of "This guy started X number of games last year..." We were 5-11 last year. We don't want those guys playing.
  4. I just hope the new O coordinator can teach Perriman how to catch. Cuz that's why we lost that game. Also we need someone to teach Moseley that you can just run out of bounds at the 1 yard line and the offense will get a yard for us. He doesn't have to win the game by himself. I agree that we were too conservative under Trestman though. With Kubiak, it was pound, pound, pound, take a shot. And the running game keyed everything. BUT we had a healthy Ray Rice then too.
  5. Ray Rice.... Answer your phone.
  6. I guess they fired Trestman because they can't fire Perriman and Moseley. If either of those guys makes the plays pros are supposed to make, we win that game easily. You can add Hester to that pile also, who seems to have no clue how to field punts any more. Our "special" teams were a joke yesterday. If they want to fire a coach, they should fire the special teams coach. We lost 16-10 and we gave up a punt-return touchdown. The defense only gave up one touchdown all game. That's a great effort. We constantly gave up yards on punts. How do we not cut Hester? Oh that's right... we have no one else.
  7. That's a good intro, but where is the second half of the article... where the author describes how they "squashed their beef"? It kind of just..... ends.
  8. If only we had a dependable running back who was explosive, rarely fumbled, and could run and catch equally well... Oh wait, we did have one... I wonder what he's up to?
  9. Bottom line is: if you're that good, the coaches will find a place for you. I look for that 33% to move up to 50% before long.
  10. He was a "risk" because of his injury history. Well it's crap 7, clear the line. Whenever something bad happens you have to blame the leader. It's time for Ozzie to retire and let Eric DeCosta make the decisions.
  11. I see nothing wrong with projecting this ethos for the team: "We are going to build the best team we can with players we are confident are NOT going to get into trouble." If every team in the NFL did this, maybe some of the college kids would clean up their acts and some others would get out of the league altogether. But sadly, there is too much "Win at any cost." mentality in the league.
  12. Upshaw was never more than solid on the edge. He was never more than Jarrett Johnson and was usually less. Considering how highly he was picked, he should have been more, but at least he wasn't a bust. When I look at guys like Brandon Williams, who was considered a "project" and got better and better all the time (still getting better), it makes me wonder why Upshaw hit his ceiling. We can find a guy who can do what he did in the 5th-7th round. You want impact players in the first 2 rounds. Upshaw wasn't that.
  13. The kid played great.... but someone should have told him: "Dude... ANY number but 7."
  14. The receivers would have made more plays if Flacco was throwing to them. Schaub has shown that he is no longer a legitimate NFL quarterback. Too bad our previous backup is now a starter somewhere else. Maybe we can grab RG3 when he gets cut.
  15. When Ngata got here, there were two Hall of Famers on the defense. Are there any Hall of Famers on the Detroit defense? Well, you might say that Ndamukong Suh is a future hall of fa.... what's that?..... He's gone???? Well never mind then.
