  1. I know Franny set up a thread about new Xbox owner stuff, so going there for recommendations would be easy. I would like to say Limbo is an arcade must own. Update: PSN ID: John_Otterpelt
  2. IMDB works for me. It often shows basic score from the other sites, and contains other info. I think I finally broke my bad movie streak. After watching Apollo 18, PA3, and lord knows what else I struck from my memory, We went to see Drive, which was ok, then Tower Heist, which was still ok, to Puss in Freaking Boots, which s the greatest cinematic event of the history of man. Or it was just ok, I can't decide.
  3. I sense a Justin Timberlake take over...
  4. Drive was certainly not what I expected. It was better. Unfortunately, I went in to the theater with a group of guys who expected a Fast and Furious knock off, so they were disappointed and hated it. I thought it was one of the better movies I have seen in a long while.
  5. Diary of the Dead was a solid rental. Another shaky first person camera flick, so be warned if you aren't into that. The original Dawn of the the Dead was so good. When a certain individual slowly turns into a zombie throughout, it had a real connection, as opposed to the f-bomb ridden, overly bloody effects the remake tried to force. Plot/Context/Delivery>Effects
  6. I was unfortunate enough to see that. Want to know the only scary part? ---Spoiler--- You won't get your money back.
  7. Never
  8. No worries, after you home, try to watch the original. If completed, you would have seen them in order, with awesome special effects and a starring role by Kurt Russel! Winning!
  9. Insidious was great. One of the only movies that still creeps me out. Trying to sleep has been a chore. Halloween has always been my favorite in the "hollywood monster" group. 1 and 2 were great, and when I heard that Rob Zombie was redoing them, I remember saying, "So is this going to add Mike to the Devil's Rejects crew as an honorary member?" I have never been too impressed with any of Rob's work post-White Zombie.
  10. I know it wasn't meant for me, but thanks for the heads-up.
  11. I missed all but one episode of The Walking Dead due to work, so I picked up the first season. All in all worth the 10 bucks I paid for it. Not too many great special features, but the show itself is really worth it. "Reel Steal" blew my expectations out of the water. I went with some friends of mine and their kid, so this seemed like a kiddie movie with fighting robots, so I was in. The movie was actually pretty good. It's very rare for me to not dislike a child actor, and this is that rare case.
  12. Their camps weren't too far away from each other if I remember correctly. About two hour chopper ride sound right?
  13. Very true. But, it really wasn't a movie. More of a botched documentary. Of all the films in the "Norwegian Movie About Trolls" catagory, this was the best because it's 100% real. All joking aside, I actually did like that movie. It all felt genuine.
  14. I still can't get a few of the creepy visuals from Insidious out of my head. Trying to sleep and imagining Tiny Tim will grate on anyone.
  15. There are only 5 Apollos between solid flick and face-smashing-anger inducing flick. That's the new scale. "The girl was cute, but she was a full Five Apollos annoying all night."
