  1. Can't hold a lead in the 4th quarter, can't take a lead into the locker room at halftime. Geez...
  2. Behind closed doors, the Chargers are probably saying "Remember when we racked up almost 450 yards here last year? Now they have no pass rush AND their secondary still stinks." Sorry, but it's true. Oh well, at least we're gonna have a top-5 draft pick in the Spring
  3. It's almost as if the football gods are trying to tell Ozzie not to use a 1st round pick on a Wide Receiver. Mark Clayton and Travis Taylor didn't work out and Perriman is already surrounded with unclear, not-so-positive drama. Even when/if he does take the field this year, a leg injury that sidelines you for 3 months (and counting) is going to degrade one's speed. Given that his main upside is his speed, that is pretty darn depressing.
  4. It really doesn't matter if these are close losses or blowouts. There's really no way to sugarcoat a 1-6 record. This year we are what our record says we are- a team that doesn't know how to win. It sucks, but that's the reality of it.
  5. "The Ravens%u2019 smash mouth, physical style and culture that encourages players to be their best selves".........sorry, but that isn't how I'd describe the Ravens- at least not this year. That just isn't 2015 Ravens football.
  6. Somebody touched on that fact that we're bringing in mediocre guys, hyping them up and expecting them to perform beyond their abilities. I agree- we can't take that approach. When we had superb mentors and developers on the team like Ray Lewis, and vocal guys like Boldin, Pollard, and Reed- that approach was realistic. Ray Lewis especially knew how to get guys to go above & beyond- rookies and veterans. Now (other than Steve Smith) we have NOBODY like that on the active roster anymore. Even Steve Smith can't turn our current mediocre (at best) WR corps into above average performers. A healthy Perriman may have been able to help but the decisions to let guys like Torrey and Boldin go are now coming full circle and killing this team. Even when Breshad returns, there's the real possibility that we may find out the hard way that we used a #1 draft pick on a track star, and not a football player. Seriously- the only praise I've heard repeatedly about him is that he's fast- and that's it. Nothing about route running ability, ability to gain separation, or making tough catches. Yeah, this year is horribly painful to watch, but at this point, there's not a whole lot to be optimistic about next year.
  7. I just hope we stop using cap money to pick up discarded players. It's clear nothing is going to help much at this point. I also hope we don't use any draft picks to make trades with other teams.
  8. This truly is the worst team the Ravens have ever fielded in their 20 year existence. We'll be lucky to win 2 games this season.
  9. Nobody should be surprised by that. Not even Harbaugh. Now we just have to wait for Boldin's revenge TD.
  10. Wow. 4 yards out and can't get into the end zone. This is one of the (many) reasons we've only got 1 win and can't beat the Browns or Raiders.
  11. What's sad is that they seriously look they don't. Who allows a 52-yard completion to a wide open Fullback?
  12. Those are obvious changes, but IMO this year's team lacks the attitude and talent to accomplish any one of those three things. This just isn't the Ravens' year. Even Justin Tucker is under-performing.
  13. Actually it's gonna be a Monday night game, but yeah- it's going to be ugly.
  14. In terms of postseason aspirations- yes, the season is over. But there are still 11 games left, so in that sense there's still a lot of football left to play. It's kinda hard to be optimistic about the remainder of this year- the older players are plagued by injuries and it's quite clear that our defense and offense cannot get the job done.
  15. Campanaro to IR shouldn't surprise anyone. Just like last year- he played 4 games and scored 1 TD, so this injury was about right on schedule. No Campanaro, no Gilmore, and Smith Sr is banged up. Flacco doesn't really have a lot of reliable, experienced targets left. Let's hope this Givens guy can shine the way Forsett did for us last year.
  16. Really looking like this will be Harbaugh's first losing season with the Ravens. Guess it had to happen sooner or later.
  17. At least we'll get the first pick in the 2016 draft. We seriously look like the worst team in the NFL.
  18. Of course. Now, Flacco- throw a pick 6 to seal the deal.
  19. WORST defense in the NFL- God the Ravens D sucks!!!!!
  20. Dalton to Green in the 4th is becoming as predictable as Polamalu/Harrison's strip sacks of Flacco. Inexcusable, Ravens.
  21. That missed FG by Tucker is looming large.
  22. Another red zone possession inside the 5-yd line...another FG. Brace yourselves for another agonizing, close loss.
  23. At this point, it might just be easier for the Ravens to declare Perriman out for the season. Who re-aggravates an injury on a day when you're not even active for the game?
  24. This just isn't the Ravens' year. Failure in all 3 phases. I don't think Trestman will be in Baltimore this time next year though. At least I hope not. I'd actually rather have Cam Cameron back than Trestman. His longest tenure with any team is 4 years with Montreal- that shoulda been a red flag from the get-go.
