  1. Nothing. Don't get your hopes up.
  2. OK Ravens- starting at midfield. Let's get at least 3 outta this drive.
  3. A season sweep of the Steelers was worth dropping to 8th overall pick but beating the Bengals IMO won't be worth possibly dropping out of the top 10 picks of the draft. Given the Ravens' recent track record against the Bungles, especially as visitors- I think it's highly unlikely the Ravens will win Sunday anyhow. Add in to that equation the facts that Cincy has the top scoring defense in the NFL, and they're playing for a 1st round bye- I just don't see the Ravens pulling off the upset.
  4. Aiken, yes but with Perriman- I'd hold off on assuming he will "hold his own" next year. Maybe he will, but considering he missed his entire rookie training camp, preseason, and regular season he's got a long way to go to and a lot to prove. The fact that it was a non-contact knee injury that sidelined him (and a mysterious, puzzling one at that), and he's known primarily for his speed...idk, that certainly doesn't seem to bode well for him. I hope I'm wrong and he turns out to be the next Antonio Brown, but as far as I'm concerned the jury is still out on Perriman.
  5. Only a local Philly reporter would suggest something this ridiculous. Every coach has his faults, but with one SB championship and 6 of 8 seasons ending with a postseason run, I'll take Harbaugh over just about any coach. On a semi-related note- I am hoping like I've never hoped before that Chuck Pagano returns to Baltimore as a DC next year. Not that his firing is inevitable, but he turned down an extension this past offseason and even the Colts ESPN reporter is strongly suggesting that his time may be up in Indy. One can only hope...
  6. Just a terrible, terrible season. Can't wait till the final whistle blows at the end of the Super Bowl and I can officially move on to the 2016 season.
  7. Struck gold with Darryl Smith. Struck out with Eugene Monroe. Let's hope next year's O Line: A) turns out to be stellar, and stays healthy. Joe is going to need a heckuva lot more protection next year than usual, given that he'll be coming off serious injury. Man, what a terrible, terrible year this has been!
  8. At this point, it really doesn't matter who the Ravens lose this season. It really can't get much worse than losing your starting QB, starting RB, backup RB, #1 Draft pick, #1 WR, Suggs, and so on, and so on, and so on........ then again, the way this season is going I wouldn't be surprised if Harbaugh lands on IR and Trestman takes over as head coach.
  9. Let Clausen play the 2nd half. Seriously- why not?
  10. Yep, that's about right. I hope that's enough for Harbs to bench Schaub.
  11. I can't help but wonder who's heading up their strength & conditioning program. There's only so much you can blame on bad luck before you start wondering what the heck is going on. Last year the Ravens had the 3rd most players on IR, and now they have the most- by a substantial margin.
  12. We are going to need an absolutely stellar draft from Ozzie this coming year. We've got all kinds of needs that must be addressed.
  13. As if we didn't have enough needs to address in the offseason, we now have to add a legit backup QB as a need. This is the worst luck with injuries that the Ravens have ever had. The silver lining is that we may very well have the #1 overall pick in the 2016 draft, and first pick in each of the subsequent rounds of the draft. I just hope Ozzie's 2016 draft is one that ranks up there with his 1996 draft. I know that's a pretty tall order but given what we've endured this season with injuries, the football gods owe us at least one stellar pick.
  14. I think the Rams are probably laughing too hard at last week's loss to JAX to say much of anything.
  15. I was going to make a remark about Perriman's continued absence even after the bye, but I'll wait till BR.com posts the inevitable article about him being put on IR. I mean come on- who are we kidding?
  16. It's an ugly season all around, but the problem lies more with the defense than offense. Even with the horrible secondary we had last year, we gave up just under 19 pts per game. Now, the defense gives up almost 27 pts per game. The turnover differential is also significantly worse this year. I'm guessing its got more to do with the coaches, at least our secondary coach. Personnel-wise, we're certainly improved with this year's DBs from last year's. Yet here we are- tied for fewest INTs in the NFL and overall, one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. One thing's certain- it will be interesting to see all the coaching changes that are made at the end of this season. Maybe the Lions will fire Teryl Austin and we can get him back to coach the secondary- he wasn't the best but he was better than average and for darn sure is better than what we've got now.
  17. Can the Ravens go 8-0 from here on out? Well, they COULD HAVE had a winning record at this point, but they don't. Losing to the Browns (at home, no less) and 49ers is ridiculously bad, even if they're close losses. So NO- I'm saying at this point, they cannot go 8-0. They have no fiery, intense, vocal leaders on offense or defense. Plus, the pass defense is EVEN WORSE than it was last year- again, ridiculously bad.
  18. Will the Offense be content to take a tie to go into OT, or are we going to see some decent play-calling to get Tucker to within FG range?
  19. Wow...D held them to a FG?
  20. Yep...here we go again....another loss coming up.
  21. Do you think it will take Rivers the full 4:34 to march the offense down the field for a TD? Or will he throw an 80-yard bomb on the second play of the drive?
  22. I'm still sick to my stomach, knowing Philip Rivers is going to get the ball, late in the 4th quarter, and going up against our defense. Sorry to sound pessimistic, but how many times have we been up, late in the 4th quarter this year?
  23. Well without SSS, we're probably not going to score anymore TDs. So is 7:48 enough to kick two FGs and for the defense to make a some big stops? Then again- it's the 4th quarter....so, it's probably asking way too much to expect the defense to make some big stops. We all know how the 4th quarter goes this season for the Ravens.
  24. If this challenge results in an INT for the Chargers, it would be fitting for this season. It will likely also be on ESPN's "C'mon, man" segment tomorrow morning.
