We won the Superbowl with Trent Dilfer. Nothing the Seahawks could do in this game would top that.
holding the #1 offense in what seems to be NFL history to 0 points and under 150 yards of offense... yea that would make an argument lol
why doesent prater kick it through the endzone lol
because he's not in the mile high air anymore lol
so... am I the only one that forgot how fast Percy was? lol
I can guarantee you that the people who don't like Flacco don't think Harbaugh is the reason for our success. They will attribute it to a good core team that was hampered by injuries the year before Harbaugh was made HC and I think they have a slight case for that, as well as a crucial draft by Ozzie in 08, where he landed a "franchise qb" and rb, depending on your definition.
You happen to have a link to that Browns forum?
Yea it's a good argument. But I don't think the recent bashing of Harbaugh was warranted. He did guide our team to a super bowl. Coaches with even better teams have failed much harder in the past (Norv Turner)
I really look forward to seeing if Pierce can capitalize on this focus towards zone down hill running. It's made for him. This in theory could give Rice more cut back lanes, he needs that.
Arian Foster and Bernard Pierce are of the same mold. As well as Owen Daniels to Dennis Pitta. This should be a very easy transition for them
Cantnbe afraid of change
So, does anyone thing Shanahan doesn't come on board? I know we have zero idea what the coaches discussed with him and whether they presented that he'd be the candidate to be the quarterback coach or not, but he could be upset about being one of two finalists only to be spurned last minute
I've been waiting to hear about this. I haven't heard anything about Shannahan actually being on board with this.
Bernard Pierce should be the happiest guy on our offense right now
Dope!
By that same logic, Jimmy Smith shouldn't be balling out right now.
This is where we disagree, Jimmy Smith showed us that he is best when he is physical in his first year, I even remember him getting two interception in almost back to back games. It was the mental game that was getting him but he showed us that he can play on this level.
That's different. Marlon Brown has shown us what he can do, that's something to build on. For the most part these other guys have not.
There isn't a receiver under #2 on the depth chart that is worth keeping over Jacoby. Not Doss, not Deonte, not Mellard, not Stokely. No reason to let him go.
And there is not a kick/punt returner that we should keep over Jacoby. Enough of this potential crap, if they don't show the ability to do it than there is no reason to believe that they can.
I would hate to see Jacoby go. He'd be great here, he alone helps our franchise because he is one of the few players on our team that is likable. He brought us fans with his dances alone lol.
But aside from the silly stuff, he isn't replaceable on our team, we don't have anyone on his level yet. We can talk potential and isolated incidents all we want but much like Boldin, no one on our roster is filling his shoes tomorrow.
He isn't a playmaker anymore, he needs to sit back in deep zone, his impact wouldn't be any better than Elam's to be honest
You mean have 27 turnovers?
touche haha
Let's stir the pot ![]()
I'd score 27+ points on team Sam! ![]()
not a fan of his in the least... probably the most overrated player around these boards during the draft. Couldn't stay in the big leagues in college and then went completely undrafted... Talent does not outweigh his off field risk.
I hear you, but for the last round of the draft is a good place to pick him
Nice Rogers pick
Gimme a sec.
I promise you that this selection WILL be controversial
You need an Offensive Weapon (OW)
Grab Denard Robinson brosive
But when there's a big fire in town you see the pillar of smoke and know something is happening right away don't you?

If we could split the Manning brothers you'd be set. Peyton for the regular season, Eli for the playoffs
