Irvin for Williams trade was a pretty fair deal. Williams is good but he has been in a rotation with limited snaps thus far. Irvin is a bigger impact player. Seattle is fine without him picks up a third and some cash savings. I don't think this is nearly one of the most lopsided trades of this game. Fairly even.

My trades tend to be on the generous side so they give that kind of lopsided look. To each his own. 

Have to retract that last Sam Acho trade. The contract caught the other GM off guard

Glad I landed a vet and warrior like justin smith. He's one of my favorite players and while he's older, he's still for some years left in him at a very high level. Having Ngata and Him on the DL is awesome

For Truth it was a steal... Irving for a 3rd and a proven NT who can stay on the field for a long time....

I'm thinking that I'm not going to get anyone in the 3rd round that will be a better pass rusher than Irvin, and it completely removes a need for my franchise.

I think in the right system, and Arizona certainly is a pretty potent defense, he will most definitely maintain it. He was pretty much stuck behind Freeney and Mathis for years and was never given much of an opportunity in Indy. 

woah, i'm surprised that it created this much of a hub-bub. I like Hughes, had a great year when given a chance. And on this defense, like you said Gabe should do more than Floyd has done for Arizona.

Not for me lol.  I picked a team I don't like, but they have cap room, tons of draft picks, and very few free agents.  I'm in it for the rebuild.

I picked a team with a good foundation to work with. And because I love me some defense. I almost went with the Panthers though tbh

The 2015 off-season is also when a good chunk of both San Fran's and Seattle's (current) roster will become free agents. Trust me, neither of those 2 teams will be the same in even just two years...

exactly, both of those franchise will hurt when they have to play Kap and Russ anyway.
