My team turned out to be solid. O line was good, my only true weakness was strong safety.
I think our RB tandem is solid. It doesn't need tweaking let them share carries and wear guys down. We could use a playmaker at tight end though. But if this o line can just do it's job in the run game and one chain mover at wide receiver there should not be any holes in our offense.

and you have to be doing something pretty damn right to be labelled the first team all pro strong safety by PFF ahead of the premier names in your first season on a new team...
That's more like it. My comment wasn't toward your opinion but it still works.
don't read stats as a clear indication of a players performance... It's only part of the story
I honestly thing about Zorn every year... No joke, Flacco loved him and all of his wacky drills. If j remember right, Zorn and Cam Cameron didn't get along. I believe that's why he was let go.
I wouldn't come back if i was Zorn.
Our assistants get poached quite a bit. Like Teryl Austin.
Rick Wagner owes Castillo dinner for the contract hes about to get.
Not taking Kyle shannahan seems to have been the wrong decision in hind sight... He's had Atlanta humming.
Need the draft o line higher
Pees did all that he could... The blitzes that he brought in this year was exotic, the lack of speed on our defense has been apparent since the Super Bowl year. I'd be open to change but it's not because I think Pees sucks...
I was waiting for this thread... Lol
This is why I like Smith, and why I liked TO. At the end of the day they want to win. It's all football, nothing else. Get him the ball where he needs it and watch things happen.
What a game

I'll pass brotha. Our run defense is fine

Not that I condone these sorts of posts... But you forgot Upshaw
Young and Pierce ate a tie in my mind right now. Stanley almost because of his position. Dixon has come on strongly as well. Threatening the starting job with his increase in carries
Didn't get to watch this game. But I saw a lot of field goals, and a lot of nice runs followed by negative runs. What happened? Cause we can't rely on our defense to keep good teams under 20 points can we?

It is difficult to assess because in the final 2 mins of the half Pees did back off. With them only needing a FG to tie, that is not smart situational football. Again, it is only the eye test, but it did seem like everything fell apart from there. Just was curious how the breakdown came about.
Not even angry about the loss itself really. Dallas is just a darn good football team. They were going to put up points and going to make yards. But, zero punts in the 2nd half and a total failure defensively is something that falls on coaching. That 1st and 30 was the drive right before their final drive before the half. So it makes me curious if that is when Pees decided to play scared.
It was down hill from that 1st and 30. They scored from that possession and I'm I believe. Not another punt was attempted

Peyton's adjustments where obvious but didn't result in positive results very often... I lose count how many times I heard Omaha, then saw an incomplete pass it a two yard run.

2. Certainly not done in Baltimore by a long shot. He's locked in as the starting QB of this team through at least 2018, and very likely beyond that. Short of a Ray Rice-level incident, that's not changing.
The only thing that can be altered here is whether fans except this or not. That's on them... its certainly not on Joe.
I'm fine with him being the average Joe. Not when he's being Joe shmoe. He hasn't been consistently average for a little while now
7 hours ago, flynismo said:That's exactly his point. There is zero consistency anywhere on this offense, outside of the QB.
That's a good point but there's been change because of performance. Including the qb coaches.

I was sipping the kool-aid when I saw all of our tightends, and running back depth. And it looked like we had weapons at WR. but man what a few weeks can do...

Kubiak and Caldwell left to become HC's elsewhere. Cameron's firing led to the Super Bowl, and then there's Trestman. How does that translate into most?
I know I'm awesomely late here. But I don't know how long everyone else can be blamed for this offense. One thing has been consistent... And that's Flacco, and I'm not a hater. It's just a trend
AJ green means nothing to me this game. It's not that I think our defense is bad, because that's not the case. Our offense is so trash l, that people are going to get w lot of chances wgainst our D. When the cowboys converted that 1st and 20 drive, See didn't touch the ball, because it doesn't matter who it is after a while. Tewke find a way. But our offense doesn't and that scares me more than who's on the other side of the ball

I hope running back being a big need was a smoke screen. If we blow a firt on a running back I'm gonnajg to cry.
